Their schedule is never clear. They come and go at all hours, even on weekends and show up with little to no communication. I was moving out of my location and planned to have movers come on a Sunday after being away Friday and Saturday …

We contacted Weatherhead and Son's to get some window's replaced. They told us up front that it would be about 3 months due to all the work they had. This would have put the time frame around late September. In the meantime they demanded the down payment right away and it was paid to them. September came and went and they had not contacted me. I placed several calls and they told me I would have to talk to Jake. After several calls Jake never called. October came and went as I tried contacting them again. It was the same story with the same result. Only when I demanded my down payment back that I got a call. He told me that the new time frame would be within the first two weeks of November. Well...Same story, same results. They are not calling me back and I fear that we are going into winter where the job cannot be done. I am to the point of calling the BBB as well as Kent County if I cannot get my down payment back. This is fraud if they insist on keeping my money for services never rendered. I am so through with them.

Hey Tim. We are sorry this was your experience. We can’t change what has happened but we do our best to make things right. Our owner has reached out and refunded the deposit for the windows.

Not sure who these guys are, but they whipped in and out of traffic so carelessly on the freeway it nearly caused a collision.

I really wish I could give Weatherhead and Sons a higher score. The roof/gutters/soffit were installed well and the crews were pleasant. The issue is with site clean up. After the roof was installed I found hundreds of nails in the grass, plant beds, walks and drive. I am still picking up debris. After the snow melted I found dead areas in the planting areas (pacasandra sp?) where they put ladders and piled the removed roof. The gutter and soffit crew were the same-nice work and nice guys just bad clean up/follow up...I ended up with a flat tire and am still finding aluminum nails and soffit debris around the house. It is true that they did the soffit and gutters during snow/ cold but could have made a point to come back and clean up... disappointed.

Will was super helpful is talking through the potential issues on our porch roof and offered sound advice. Not pushy to make a sale at all. Once we determine the path forward we will move forward with him.

After numerous attempts by numerous contractors to repair our leaky roof--which included a very leak-prone, flat, rubber-covered back porch roof--we finally called in Weatherhead and Sons (a few years ago)... and oh, what a difference! Not only is the main roof leak-proof and top-notch, but the flat rubber roof hasn't leaked once in all those years (despite very heavy rains)! (We'd been prepared to take on an expensive carpentry rework of the back porch roof which would have extended the slanted roof over it... but Mr. Weatherhead talked out of it, and assured us that he could handle the rubber flat roof (for a much lower price)... and he was right! Since then, he's come out twice--once to help us with wiring in the back porch that'd gone awry, and just recently (a few days ago) to check the new rain gutters (which his team had installed, and which had been knocked a bit awry by storm winds), and he handled both... without charging us a cent (and we live in Ionia, which is a hike, for him)! We can't recommend them strongly enough. Wonderful, professional, friendly, capable service... and we're so pleased!

Just want to say thanks to this company, specifically Will, for being so helpful. There are not a lot of honorable companies still out there in today’s day and they are truly one of the few. Highly recommend!

Shopping for new replacement windows or patio slider door??? You really need to give Brice or Will a call at Weatherhead and Son's! I had a 40 year old patio slider replaced last fall and they did such an amazing job I had them back this past week to replace 11 windows as well. Their team did excellent work with very little, to no impact on the interior of our home and the exterior aluminum finish trim work done by Brian was perfect! I couldn't be happier with their dependability, care and professionalism in every aspect of the project! And... they were fast! In and out without even leaving a footprint! All coupled with a great product at a great price for my budget! Your won't be disappointed - give Weatherhead and Son's a call!

Weatherhead and sons were great to work with for my project. There guys were very professional, I didn’t feel like I was being pressured to buy something outside my means. Very straightforward and honest! I would recommend them to anyone looking for reasonable pricing and great work.

Absolutely recommend Weatherhead. They did a tear off roof on our old house (100 years old). It needed some minor repairs after a recent storm and no questions asked they came out and took care of it. Especially when working with old houses it’s great to have contractors you can trust. I’d say way above average communication and customer service!!!!
