  One of the workers here came into the gas station driving the company truck wearing a Mexico national team baseball hat that I was working at last night and threatened me because I asked for his ID for cigarettes. He didn’t leave until I had to dial 911. Mind you that I can’t do age verification manually on the computer which I explained to him MULTIPLE TIMES!!! !!!COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL!!!

  Had a roof reroofed , was supposed have rain and ice barrier on intire roof ,paid for that but yet every winter it has leaked, instead of tearing the roof off and doing it right , they want to act like there is something else is causing …

  Reached out online about someone to come out and quote a new roof. No one ever contacted me back...lost my current and any future business opportunities!!! Even if you're too busy or cant do the work, a call back is the respectful thing to do. Waited a week plus, moved on.

  There was not a leak issue in the photos I provided, that is the damage their crew caused while doing the tear off of the old roof. They were so reckless it caused the ceiling inside the home to come down. We didn't get a well put together crew that was professional and organized. A mini van full of guys wearing hoodies with hoods up and tied in 90+ degree weather showed up at our house. Completely trashed our yard with debris from the tear off of the roof, which they did not clean up, and a microwave in my front yard for their lunches. 7 months later we've got leaks galore. No matter how hard they try to come at me about the excellent roof they installed and how we were the problem; in my opinion the way they do business isn't with integrity or respect for their customers. The roof was in bad shape hence why we were having it replaced but it was not in disrepair just the original roof. I'm not sure why I didn't qualify for the professional crew it sounds like many other customers get but I stand firm that this company is not what they try to prove they are with all their wonderful internet reviews. Lots of excuses as to why our concerns were not valid to them and no accountability for damages they caused. Before I left my one star review they were going to warranty the roof for life after my review it went down to just 5 years. I think that says all you need to know about this company. Issues WERE NOT pre-existing. That was your reckless crew. Not making it right, that's your company. Bad mouthing a customer on the internet just trying to get what is owed to her is bad business for you. If you don't like 1 star reviews that tell the truth about your company DO BETTER.

  Kelsey, Your mom has a Golden Pledge 25 year warranty which is a 25 year Manufacturers warranty you can read the specifications of that online or review the documentation that was sent to her The shingles have a lifetime warranty against manufacturers defect. Avalon also provides a 5year installation and workmanship warranty. As always your Mom is welcome to call into our office to discuss any concerns she may have. We have attempted to reach her but have recieved no response from her.

  Avalon came out and quoted me $750 to repair a small hole in my garage roof. They were happy to come collect payment from me and assured me they’d reach back out to schedule the work. The next day Avalon contacted us saying they can’t do the job because our roof is “too old.” Thanks for nothing Avalon!

  2/5/2026 - I'm adding to my original review. I have found out many things about this company that are unethical but will only mention one additional. After several years of my venting be off since they replaced my roof in 2019 and going back and forth with Avalon to try and get it fixed, I have given up. I had other roofing companies come out and tell me the ridge vents were cut incorrectly. Avalon finally sent one final person out after approx a couple of years of going back and forth and he agreed the vents were cut incorrectly causing the issue. However, they still wanted to charge me to fix their mistake and kept dragging their feet about fixing the issue saying they wanted me to take my review down first. What a horribly unethical company. Now I have to look at getting my roof fixed due to the damage they caused and possibly even replaced again due to their incompetence. Use them at your own risk and be prepared for a lot of stress. Avalon Building Concepts was contracted to put a new roof on my home in the fall of 2019. I noted to their sales person that before I had extra pop vents installed that I had an issue with one ice dam near my bathroom window. The sales person, Randy?, noted that I should replace the numerous pop vents with ridge vents on both the peaks. I noted that I was concerned about one ridge vent providing the same air flow as all the pop vents I had and asked about having a couple of the newer ones left in. He said it was not needed as he “guaranteed” the ridge vent would be enough air flow. I again noted I would prefer a couple of the pop vents be left in. I signed the contract and didn’t notice that he didn’t amend it to leave in a couple pop vents so that was my fault for not catching it. The winter of 2019-2020 was a warmer than average winter and I didn’t notice any ice dams. This winter, 2020-2021, was a different story and I had huge ice dams and icicles all over my home.   I followed up on a roof inspection after Avalon was sent out to inspect a double wide mobile home. They told the homeowner that the roof was “spongy” and made a very concerning case. They advised the homeowner to replace the roof and decking, all of which would cost up to 30k estimate. After my assessment of the roof I was able to conclude that the roof was within 5years old. A dimensional shingle installed which was upgraded from 3-tab(like the older roofs of the mobile home division). They made the homeowner very concerned about his home and financially stressed about a made up problem. Sounds like Avalon is falsely informing customers to scam them out of their money.

  Avalon put a new roof on my mobile home about six years ago. They charged me $6000 for the roof. After it was out on I had water come through the roof in the kitchen, bath and back bedroom area through the ceiling. I went back and forth with this company to get it resolved. Reported it to the BBB, etc. When someone came out to look at the roof I noticed he was calking a shingle. This company blames me for ice build up when I have had a snow rake to remove snow buildup on my roof. The finger pointing for them is blaming the customer. Time for this business to take responsibility for problems they cause. This company is the worst I've worked with and advise people not to deal with them.

  Originally installed the roof in 2014- Customer called in the winter of 2018 complaining of leaking- it was directly after a large storm with heavy snow and ice loads. We explained to the customer that the source of leaking was ice damming. We then carried out a thorough inspection and made repairs to the roof in the spring of 2019 (all issues appeared to be the result of ice damming and lack of customer care and maintenance in combating ice damming). Ice damming is not an event that is covered under warranty. We made the repairs as a courtsey to the customer.

  I met with Caleb and reviewed my projects including a roof of the house and shed. We also discussed an insulation project as well. Caleb was honest, informative and spent a couple hours on a Friday night discussing my project with me. He provided a fair & honest quote for the project. If you are thinking about a roofing or insulation project reach out Avalon Roofing and Caleb! I will definitely consider them for future projects on my home.

  100% satisfaction! We had our roof replaced including the boards underneath, and our gutters replaced. The crew worked together and were very professional. They were very hard workers! They cleaned up everything afterwards!

  I enjoyed working with Mac to receive an estimate on gutters for my home. He answered all my questions with confidence. He was timely with follow-up from providing the estimate to signing the contract. Ultimately it's about making a sale but I didn't feel like I was just a number to meet his quota.
