  I hired Victors for a missing chimney cap and caulking June/July 2025. Thats all I needed based on the inspectors recommendations. But to DO that, Victors said I needed to remove the existing roll roofing SURROUNDING the chimney (which is now impacting my patio and house addition, and DIDNT leak priorto Victors) tear off 4.6 sq of that, and replace it. Why would you need to tear off over 4 sq of shingles to repair a chimney? But I agreed thinking they knew better than me, and trusting them. THEN, Felix, the salesman, comes back inside literally in tears and shaking. Saying he severely underbid and his boss was mad. He gives me the new bid $12,750.00. I was stunned, but hoped this would be that largest of repairs this home needed. For 4.6sq???? So after this, my patio begins leaking and it didnt leak before victors came. Im thinking great another repair. It leaked with all the rain and melting snow. This spring I begin looking for another roofing company to fix a leaky patio. But when they get here he shows me why my patio is leaking and another issue. Where my patio connects to the garage and house, they left a hole where you could see daylight. Additionally, they tore off a flat roof (rolled roofing) which covered my garage and laundry room, and replaced with SHINGLES, which cause water to roll back beneath the shingles of the garage area Victors also "replaced". One year later all that Victors did was remove a roof that wasnt leaking, and replace with one that did. I had rusty nails from a one year old roof and it was WET beneath the shingles the new company tore off. You cannot install these shingles *Alpin Pinnacle, on a 2.0 pitch or lower PER THEIR WARRANTY. Victors did just that. They broke the warranty upon installation, and you're mad I didnt call you back to fix all this? I dont want you guys back on my roof. The leak you caused also damaged sheetrock on my patio, in additions to $12,750.00 I spent when all I needed was a chimney cap and

  We needed a new roof and set up appointments with 3 area roofers. We wanted to find and hire a family-owned, local company versus a private equity-owned company. It's an interesting and disappointing journey to find out how many companies are owned by Wall Street. The first appointment we had was with Victors--who assured us they are locally-owned. They sent 2 very nice young reps and we liked them both. But, it became clear that they are under a lot of pressure to sell on the spot. We are the "we'll think it over" kind of people with every major purchase. We have a typical suburban-Detroit ranch. We were given a quote--were SHOCKED at the price. Then we told them that we had a '...couple other companies coming...' to give us a quote. As a life-long salesperson myself, I recognize the tactics these poor guys were trained to use. We were offered different rates if we "signed today." We were offered no interest financing. We felt a little too pressured to sign on-the-spot--and were asked at least 5 times in spite of saying, "We always think things over." I have to believe that the training is similar to Amway or DaVita or other high-pressure sales jobs. The two other companies who came to give us a quote were Neighborhood Roofing and Rapid Roofing. We absolutely LOVED both of their reps! Neither one was pushy or high-pressure. They were both extremely professional and knowledgeable. Neither put pressure on us to "sign today." These two companies came in around the same prices. We went with Rapid Roofing because we were going to stick with the kind of vents we have versus a ridge vent. This is what we were quoted for the same roof: Victors--(Good, Better, Best) $28,000 - $36,000 - $46,000 Neighborhood - $15,000 - $18,000 Rapid -- $!4,000 - $17,000 Victors offered the same roof as Neighborhood and Rapid for THREE TIMES THE PRICE! Not even a slight difference! More than double and triple. We highly recommend Rapid Roofing or Neighborhood Roof

  Had a roof inspection done. The man came out had a good better best estimate on a computer screen. Rattled off numbers tried to get us to sign immediately. We wanted to have the estimate in writing to look over so he was supposed to email it and never did. We texted him he never replied. Then I called the office and was told they would get it to me in an hour and it never came. Clearly they are not transparent and are trying to pull a fast one. What a waste of time. They did say that if we signed immediately they would give us discounts but didn't specify what those discounts were. It has been days and we have not heard from them. They must realize that they are inflating the costs and since we didn't sign immediately under pressure that we would get a better price and not use them. So now I will be calling places that actually value me as a customer.

  Most expensive qoute they gave. They use all tool to rip you you off possible. 2800 sq ft roof meterial cost 7-8k max in current market but the want to charge me 46k with all kind of lame sale tacties.

  Their sales guys will spend hours trying to tell you they don't use sub contractors, just for you to find out they do after you've signed. Then you'll have another group of people showing up the day of the job bc they are subs. They might have one guy from victors on the job, the rest is all subs. They will adamantly tell you they are not. Their sales guys will tell you how they "test" the crews they hire when in reality they are just making sure the subcontractors they hire and lie to you about know what a shingle is. Not a high bar for a roofer. Their business model is: If we talk about what great customer service we offer (they are subpar and don't do half the things they say) and we lie and say we don't use subcontractors (they do...for everything), we can charge 3x the price (literally. Or more!) but once we get a signature we don't have to do any of it. It just has to sound good so people pay.

  My husband and I had a fantastic experience working with Victors Home Solutions for our roof replacement. The whole process was smooth and professional from day one. ​The roofing inspectors, David and Dylan, were thorough and clear in explaining everything, making sure we felt confident moving forward. The installers and the entire crew worked efficiently, maintained a clean job site, and delivered high-quality craftsmanship.   Jake was completely thorough! Climbed in the attic space and even on the roof in the rain! We didn’t close the deal today but this guy is on top of his game and didn’t try to oversell the work needed! You guys got a good guy on tie team! God Bless!

  Victor's Home Solutions have been truly a Godsent. From Jason coming out almost two hours to inspect our roof, with video and large pictures showing what needed repaired, replaced. We couldn't finance whole roof removed and replace. However they worked with us to replace and fix the worst of it. Came in under Quote. Every single person we spoke with has gone above and beyond including cleanup. 10/10++ Highly recommend!!!

  Tom the roof inspector did a a very thorough inspection and was very helpful. Day of install Leo and his crew did a wonderful job. Lance the quality assurance manager answered all of our questions and showed us photos of our project. They did a great job! Would recommend to anyone!

  Lance, Vaun, and Freddie were wonderful, they took the time to show pictures of our decking that was cracked over our child’s room from a branch falling on it. They came out and finished the job within a week and we couldn’t be happier.

  From start to finish, every step with Victors was a 5 star experience. Mike Rogers did an in-depth inspection going on the roof and in the attic. I knew my shingles were old but I had no idea there was serious mold growing. Scheduling was fast and friendly and Kati was so helpful and in constant communication. The very next week, the trailer and shingles delivered the day before the new roof install. They arrived early and right to work, putting up netting that protected the house and landscaping. The project manager Mason was on site all day and Douglas and his crew were clearly experts, professional, efficient and left everything spotless, you’d never know they ever there. Thank you everyone at Victors - knowing the roof over my family’s head is safe and solid means more to me than you’ll ever know.
