WE DO NOT RECOMMEND! We used them last year, and it was not a good experience! Finally showed up two weeks after the start date at 11 am, left at 3 pm, then sporadically showed up between 10 and 11 am for the rest of the weeks it took them, some days not showing up at all, never the same crew (sometimes just one person). Always left by 3 pm. We were constantly having to go behind them and get them to fix something they screwed up, and they had an excuse for everything. They even tried blaming some of their mistakes on us? We spent nearly $40k on what ended up being a below-average job, full of shortcuts with poor quality craftsmanship. I don’t care what they come back with, we haven’t exaggerated anything.

Thanks for offering your thoughts. I'm disappointed by your characterization of the work but we'll have to respectfully disagree. We have meticulous records of the events that do not align with your description. We work hard to help our customers plan their projects from concept to completion and genuinely care about the results. We strive toward honest, good faith interactions. It's very rare, but sometimes in business (like in life) that effort is not reciprocated. Unfortunately, this was one of those instances. We invite anyone with questions about our work to contact us directly. We’re committed to transparency and delivering exceptional results.

Very disappointed, scheduled a estimate and sent pics to person coming out. He stated they charge a minimum of $1500 for a simple fix due to being a large company. Suggested me just caulking the flashing on edge of shingles. It had been cauked by last person that poorly installed it. Called another company, came out a quoted me $200 to fix flashing on both side of porch roof due to flashing not being installed all the way to roof line. Always remeber to get multiple quotes, and go off recommendations from freinds.

Hi, I'm skeptical that you are reviewing the correct company. Unfortunately, we do not generally offer small repair services because they are inefficient for us. We're always up front about that and I usually recommend people look elsewhere for small repairs and am often able to suggest an alternative. I don't think it's fair to give us a 1 star review when we didn't do any work for you, but you're entitled to your opinion =) Have a pleasant summer!

So here is my story. This company is a break off of Sun Roofing. According to the owner of Sun Roofing he stopped doing business In May 2016. This group of people Illegally sold me a roof in September 2016 under Sun roofing. Neither Company states they have any record of my roof. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Called ED from my phone and would never answer my call. Left tons of voicemails and nothing. Finally called from my work phone and he answered. Asked whats going on and he said he has nothing to do with me anymore and hung up. As i said DO NOT TRUST THEM! I have already told many people my story on this shady company so i hope this helps you as well. I am currently looking at legal action do to them selling me my roof illegally.

Hi Andrew. I'm sorry to hear you've had a frustrating experience dealing with Sun Roofing. Some of us did work there in the past. One of the reasons we chose to venture out on our own and start Valley Exteriors was because we wanted to provide a consistent, positive experience for our customers. If the owner of Sun Roofing told you they are out of business, that is news to me. Further, this review you left is literally the first I've heard about the situation. Please contact me (Aaron) at (920) 949-9000 or admin@valleyxt.com and I'll do my best to be helpful. Edit 10/22/19: We repeatedly attempted to reach Andrew to discuss this, but were unable to reach him. Additionally, the owner of Sun Roofing passed away this fall, so that company may now be out of business.

Valley Exteriors did a great job on our roof install. Simon got us slotted in the schedule quickly and the crew showed up before 7am and finished the same day. They even worked through the 94 degree weather. Everything was cleaned up and looked great when they were done.

Valley Exteriors did an amazing job cleaning my solar panels!! They look beautiful! The price was very reasonable and they were very friendly and professional. I would recommend this company to any homeowner needing exterior work. Will definitely use them in the near future! Tysm 😊

Hi Lavenia, thank you so much for the 5-star rating and the kind words! It sounds like there might be a mix-up with another company, as Valley Exteriors in Appleton, WI specializes strictly in exterior remodeling like roofing, siding, windows, and gutters (we don’t actually clean solar panels!). However, we are glad you had a great experience with whichever team helped you, and we wish you the very best!

I had Valley replace a portion of my roof, along with the soffit and couldn’t be happier. They gave me an estimate and didn’t pressure me at all to hire them for the job. When I did hire them, they were out to do the work right away. If I didn’t already know where the patches were made, I wouldn’t be able to tell anything had been fixed (FLAWLESS) I will definitely be using Valley for any future repairs.

Great to hear. Thank you, Elizabeth!

We have several roof installations happening this week in Menasha and Neenah. These were all damaged in the July 27 storm. Many of these homes require extensive repairs but we start with the high vulnerability areas like the roof or missing gutters first. We'll be taking care of siding and related items as materials and time become available. The pictured homes are all getting new Owens Corning Duration systems backed by a 50 year factory warranty. If you're looking for help restoring your home after the storm, just need a quote for an old roof, or want to update your curb appeal, give us a call or visit our website today! We guarantee a transparent, no pressure process and have decades of experience helping to settle insurance claims. (920) 949-9000 https://www.valleyxt.com/1 day ago
