  terrible, i would not have them put on a dog house. we hired universal and they gave us some kind of sub contractor .our sky light was not install properly the roof membrane did not go up and over the curb and caused it to leak, cause interior damage in between the walls and caused black mold all over.did not answer calls..... beware, beware, beware.

  I am very confused about your company, I highly recommended you to my daughter for some storm damage repairs on her home, she set up an appointment 10 days in advance with you for a quote, the night before the meeting your company called her and canceled stating you did not want a job that big, apparently your company can not handle a 15,000 dollar project, she was also told you would not know quote to repair some broken truss overhangs and that your company is mainly concentrating on roof and window repairs, word of advise stop misrepresenting your company on your web site and on WDBO radio, you are not a general contractor, stop pretending you are! cc: WDBO

  Very disappointing experience with the sales process of Universal Roofing and Contracting in Lake Mary/Longwood area. 1. **Initial Impressions**: The process began positively with a young gentleman who was well-mannered and polite. John helped me with the quote for a new roof, and I appreciated his initial professionalism. 2. **Concerns with the Sales Process**: However, I quickly became concerned with the sales process. It felt as if his primary focus was on the amount of my insurance settlement rather than ensuring that I understood the scope of work needed. He promised that the job would take only two weeks and assured me that several services would be provided after I signed the contract, particularly addressing leaking areas that he verbally/txt said he was going to cover with a tarp. The insurance process took longer than expected, yet he continued to emphasize the settlement amount rather than following up on the promised work. 3. **Post-Contract Issues**: After signing the contract, I encountered multiple issues. The promised coverage for leaking areas was not addressed, leading to damage in my interior due to a storm. After the contract was signed, he became effectively “missing in action.” The installation took over two months, which was significantly longer than initially promised. To make matters worse, he under-bid a small portion of the repair involving metal and later claimed that they could not complete it for that price (Felt like switch and bate). 4. **Management Communication**: I attempted to reach out to management to discuss these issues, but I received no response—only communication when it came to final payment. I even sent an email to the person mentioned in several negative reviews, but it was ignored. 5. **Management Promises**: Management promised to address these issues but then went missing as well, leaving me feeling ignored and frustrated. 6. **Unprofessional Communication**: The cherry on top was receiving a text from the sales

  It’s unbelievable how some people take advantage of those suffering from the hurricane! I had this company come to inspect my roof, and their behavior was extremely shady. They kept asking about my insurance claim—how much I'm claiming, when the adjuster is coming, and all sorts of probing questions. To make matters worse, the roofer, Jason, never even sent me an estimate! The way he lied; I wouldn’t trust him with a shovel!

  If I could give negative stars I would. Every problem you could think of. Wrong shingles, wrong color drip edge, wrong color gutters, damage to my home that they attempted to fix in an extremely inexperienced manner. When I started voicing concerns and trying to go through chain of command, their rep, Omar, who is a liar if he's breathing, was singing, Hall and Oates Man- eater while dialing my home inspector. I take it as a compliment and those 'boys' ain't seen nothing yet! If you are a female home owner beware. I got a quote from these people and my husband got one for almost 2 grand less. They refer to their office employees as 'girls' but are quick to throw around their titles. Job isn't even done and I have had it!!! Please go with anyone else. Terrible customer service and lies.

  Universal Roofing did an awesome job on my house by putting on a metal roof. Steve, the job site foreman was awesome polite and called me back whenever I sent him a message within 15 minutes They did a good job of cleaning up after they were finished. They also worked with me on the price, which was very good for a Roof I highly recommend them. In fact, my neighbor next-door is gonna get a metal roof from them also in the near future.

  This company knows how to take care of their customers. They replaced our roof 8 years ago. Ever since they have been quick to take care of any issues we have had. We even hired them to do some chimney work for us. They have earned our trust with their professionalism.

  3/24/2026 Damian was here to inspect three small roof leaks and found out that our old pool solar panels had not been removed correctly and the screw were still in the roof and causing the small leaks . He fixed it while he was here for no charge even though it was not their fault. Fantastic customer service. I highly recommend Universal Roofing!!!!!! Could not have been happier with Universal Roofing. The crew that did my roof worked 14 hours the first day and finished the job the 2nd day by noon. They did a great job cleaning up after they were done and the dumpster was removed that afternoon. I highly recommend them,

  Just had my home reroofed by Universal Roof and Contracting, Mike Ramos the project manager and all the guys were excellent. They are really hard working and thorough. Completed quality work in a timely fashion. The whole process went much easier than I expected.
