Awful. Edit: Since I am unable to reply directly to your response, I am updating my review to clarify. We hired your company in the fall of 2021. My original review was based on our experience and was not posted in error. The work was completed under my previous last name (Vargas), which may be why you did not recognize my current last name (Varnes) in your system. You completed an estimate on 09/17/2021, and the service appointment occurred on 10/29/2021. I also have email communication with your team dated 09/24/2021 through 11/02/2021, which may help confirm the record. We contacted your company regarding a leak on our porch roof and were advised that a coating application would help address the issue. After the work was performed, the leak continued, and we observed coating on nearby surfaces including the side walls, some shingles, and our porch screens. These observations are documented in the photos I uploaded. We also noted two oil spots on our driveway after the service appointment. When I called to discuss these concerns the same day, the conversation did not lead to a resolution. During that call, I recall being told that a lien could be placed on our home if we did not pay the original quoted amount of approximately $1,500. We ultimately agreed to pay $750, and the matter was then considered settled. My review reflects our experience. The additional details and photos are intended only to clarify the context since a direct reply is not possible.

I’m going to start by saying that I get a good price and delivery was on time but talking about the job done, not so happy. The house is a rental property so I went last week and the company came a month ago to fix some details and found some more but is frustrating to be calling for complaints on top of that from the beginning I stated my worries about the gutters and I was told to not be worried and now is leaking on every corner and last time they came they put the ladder and scratch the gutters in the areas they work now I need to spend over $700 for fixing all this problem and to be honest they were very polite every time I call but the workers they have don’t take pride in their job, so many people ask about our roof and I tell them I got a good price but I’m not gonna recommend if they have gutters because if anything happens they not fixing even if they say they will, because that was the most that I mention and after I paid that’s it now is my problem. Most of the time cheap is headache.

We’re disappointed to see your review, especially after the multiple service visits we made to address your concerns. Juan, Our team promptly returned to adjust and secure the drip edge where requested, and we completed the work outlined in the original scope of the roofing contract. Regarding the gutters, they were detached and reset as part of the roofing process, but full gutter replacement was not included in the scope of work. Pre-existing gutter leaks or deterioration would require separate evaluation and repair. We always aim to resolve concerns professionally and efficiently, and we remain available should you wish to discuss this further. – Thomas Roofing & Repair

Called because I had a leak in my bathroom, they did not fix the problem and are charging me 800$ for whatever "work" they did. I called back, they checked the attic and said it was a pipe leaking. The pipe doesn't carry water, it's an exhaust pipe for back up fumes. They decided it was my problem that they couldn't seal a pipe and charged me to replace random shingles. Be careful

Response from Thomas Roofing & Repair Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We’d like to clarify what took place and the steps we’ve taken to try to resolve this for you. When you contacted us about a leak, we inspected the roofing protrusions in the area of concern and performed a repair based on what appeared to be the likely point of intrusion. When the leak persisted, we returned and performed a further investigation, which revealed that the actual source of the water was a PVC joint on the plumbing exhaust stack—not the shingles or roofing materials originally suspected. Once we determined the leak was misdiagnosed, we voided the invoice in full, and you were not charged for the roof repair. Since identifying the true issue, we have made multiple attempts to reach you by phone and email, and we have offered to repair the faulty PVC joint at no cost to you. We have not received a response, but we remain more than willing to complete the repair and fully resolve the issue. Our goal is always to provide honest service and stand behind our work. If you would like to move forward with the free repair, please contact us at your convenience. We’re here to help.

Update 11/12: In response to the owners' comments - I received the email, called immediately to speak with them, left a voicemail and they never called back. They leave the ridiculous response saying I never tried to reach them, so I called again and got sent straight to voicemail AGAIN. This is laughable at this point. Not only has their employee lied about the communication up to this point, ownership won't even answer the phone to get the real story. This company is sketchy. Terrible communication - I wouldn’t suggest them with this alone. Over 1 week just for a quote on fascia and soffit repair, on less than 1/4 of the house. Monday 10/27 had a field rep come out for a quote Tuesday 10/28 at 8pm got an email asking some questions, and I responded to the email immediately Wednesday 10/29 no word Thursday 10/30 no word Friday 10/31 called to ask about the status of the quote, Friday left voicemail. Got a text around 11:30am that the installer would come back out in the same afternoon to take a look for some reason. Sent a text at 5:40pm when no one showed up. No response. Monday 11/03 they just show up in the backyard, no call, no text, no email, only knew cause the cameras started going off. They needed a 2nd opinion from the installer and they would have the quote by Tuesday if we didn’t have it same evening. Tuesday 11/04 nothing Wednesday 11/05 called them around noon, left voicemail. Called 5:35pm no answer, didn’t leave a voicemail. Got a call at 6:12pm and the voicemail was “let me call you back when I talk to my guy” but it didn’t even sound like who knew who was returning a call to. I called 2 other companies on Saturday 11/1 when I lost all hope in Thomas Roofing, and they both came out Monday (before the unannounced visit from Thomas Roofing). Got my quotes in less than 48 hours from those other 2. It cannot be based on the difficulty of the job at this point. No 2nd set of eyes were needed. I do not understand what is going on with Thomas Roofing

We’re disappointed to see this review, especially after we personally reached out by email to address your concerns and received no response. After reviewing the situation, it’s clear there may have been some misunderstanding about the nature of your request. Your original call came through our answering service as a fascia repair, which is a service we regularly provide. Once our representative, Scott, arrived onsite, he identified that the work actually involved soffit repairs, which fall outside of our normal scope. Rather than walking away from the request, Scott coordinated with one of our trusted soffit partners to help get you an estimate — which took additional time because it required scheduling between two companies. All communication throughout this process was handled directly with your husband, who was notified before any visit took place. Our team never entered your property without notice, and no work or charges were ever made. While we understand that timing and coordination can be frustrating, this situation doesn’t reflect poor workmanship or customer neglect — simply a case of trying to assist with a request outside our usual service area. We truly wish the interaction had been seen for what it was: an effort to help rather than turn you away. We take great pride in our reputation and professionalism, and we believe this review doesn’t accurately represent the service or integrity that Thomas Roofing provides to hundreds of homeowners across Central Florida.

T.R.R. The repairing rip off. I'll start from beginning. If you do use this place Salesman Steven specifically is a deceiving snake. I still don't think he knows what was done or wasn't done. It was highly important , while waiting for the asphalt roll out of roofing to come in, that the main strip/seam between back to front of mobile home that wasn't just leaking, but taking on gallons of water with each central summer storm, was sealed. I, the only person living in the home, had just spent 5 days in hospital with symptoms I'd never had. Fast forward. 2 weeks home, I finally found the cause: a major hidden leak in home which allowed significant long term exposure to mold. MOLD We were told seam had been closed while waiting for $11,000 roof to come. Good. I focused on breathing and air quality. At the end of August I started suffering with same symptoms having to do an Exodus out of home. I called and asked for Steven to come look at seam as all o could figure was it had to have been blown back open. At which time he says they had NOT fixed the seam as it wasn't in contract to do so. 1. I would not have stayed had he not told me it was sealed. 2. My second round of more mold Exposure was even worse healthwise ,compounded by extra weeks of exposure. So, the solution was to place tarp over open water basin . When TRR came to put tarp on, I asked for photo to be taken. And, sure enough the roof HAD been rolled out, sealed, with a section having become reopened. Seriously?? This salesman's shadiness could cost the owner this business. It cost me another month of focusing on air quality to be able to breathe . When Air Quality was tested by professional on Aug. 22, it came back as "unliveable". My body already knew that. As for work, after roof was put on and finished, there was a serious amount of sharp pieces of aluminum left all around house on ground and a carnival glass bowl used as planter had been smashed from not simply covering the garden area. It was left bro

Lisa- We are very sorry for the medical complications you have endured, however, the water intrusion and mold were present prior to our engagement. It is, in fact, the reason we were hired to replace the roof, which we did in a timely and professional manner. Since we have replaced the roof there has been no further water intrusion, or issues related to the work contracted and performed by Thomas Roofing. This review is not an accurate or honest representation of our employees, our work, or our company as a whole. We can not be held responsible for damages and mold caused prior to our work commencing.

Updated review. Here’s the long and the short. My roof leaked worse after their work was completed, than it did before the new roof was installed. Put Tapcon screws through a metal roof to hold it down, as well as a laundry list of other mistakes no roofing company should make. I won’t let them back on my roof again, and that’s the advice I’ve shared with my friends and family, and anyone reading this. I hired them to replace the roof on my attached porch. The work took a bit to get scheduled, but it was completed on time and as quoted. The work required the metal roof of the main structure to be in fastened and lifted so the porch roof could be overlapped underneath the metal roof (as quoted in the initial estimate). This is where I encountered an issue. After the work was completed, new leaks occurred. After coming back out 3 times, Thomas roofing was not able to fix the new leak, and let me know that they could send someone out to quote more repairs. After their third and final attempt to correct the leak, I walked the roof and noticed many of the fasteners for the metal roof, that were removed during the install of the porch roof, were not fastened tightly, and some appeared be stripped. Fortunately, I was able to correct the issue myself by purchasing slightly larger diameter roofing screws, and replacing those that were stripped and no longer water tight.

Michael- Thank you so much for bringing these deficiencies to our attention. While we know not every job will go perfectly, feedback from trusted clients like yourself, will go a long way to help us improve our processes and procedures. Hopefully through our conversations we were able to reach an amicable resolution to the issues discussed.

Warning for future clients who live in an HOA development/townhomes/condos: This company placed an entire pallet of roofing materials in MY marked parking spot while working on someone else’s roof. It’s currently day 7 of not being able to access my ONLY parking spot for my house, despite multiple phone calls to the company where I politely informed them of the issue. I understand that mistakes happen, but placing over 1,000 lbs of materials in a marked parking spot that is clearly not the same house # as the one they are actively working on is not acceptable. I would think twice before hiring a company with such poor communication skills and lack of respect for others in the community. For the company to note: I waited patiently for 5 days in hopes that the employees would realize they placed the at the wrong house, then called and left a detailed voicemail with my # so that they could call back and resolve the issue. After 24 hours and no response from the company, I called again and spoke to someone in the office who said she’d send someone out here to remove them asap. It’s been 16 hours and the items are still there and I’ve received zero updates from the company about resolving the issue.

Kyle- We are really sorry for the inconvenience caused by the material delivery. Unfortunately the company that delivered that was not Thomas Roofing, but ABC Supply. We give them the correct addresses for deliveries, and hope that they do their due dilligence to ensure they are delivered to the correct location or area. Once you spoke to the office, we had a representative out there within 24 hours to move the items to the correct location. We do apologize, and hope that this misunderstanding, and the fact that this was not actually done by our company will be enough to reconsider your review.

I cancelled my contract with this company and they do not even want to acknowledge it. They are attempting to commit thievery and hassle me into a payment. I would not use this company as they only want to overcharge and promise material they won't follow through with. They tell you one thing in person to change it the very next day behind your back. Lies lies and lies. This company will do anything and say anything to sound good and not look like krooks. They literally refused to remove me from my contract when I asked upon it. This company charges outrageous prices....DO NOT USE, lots of other reputable companies that will do job sooner also!!!
Reply from the business
Sir, we are very sorry for your dissatisfaction. Unfortunately you never submitted a formal written request to cancel your contract within the 3 day period. We were only charging you the amount your insurance approved for the roof per the terms of our contract. We attempted to work with you for multiple days to find a satisfactory replacement shingle upgrade for you, since the shingle you sleected is not currently being manufactured. You were hostile, aggressive, and inflammatory at every turn. Unfortunately your refusal to honor the terms of the contract and work authorization you signed entitles us to 20% in damages for time and effort put into your file.

I had a leak in my bathroom and thought it was coming from the roof so I called Thomas Roofing and Anthony Vargas was sent out. He quickly determined it was not the roof and determined I had a pipe leaking above the bathroom ceiling. He didn’t walk away and leave me to figure it out- he got on his phone and called a great plumber who was at my home quickly. I can’t say enough great things about Anthony- he went above and beyond to help me ! He was courteous, very knowledgeable and very customer oriented. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs work! When I do need roofing work done he will be my first and only call He is a great asset to his company and deserves a great amount of recognition! Thank you Anthony!!!

Cannot be happier with Thomas Roofing from their rep, Juan to the crews cleanup. When they left, we ended up with a beautiful roof and would never know they were here. They even made sure everything was cleaned as it should be. It was flawless in every way. Highly recommend this company.

I had a ceiling leak start on Sunday (7/5/26) and Thomas Roofing delivered exceptional, fast service! Vincent Spencer came out for the inspection on Tuesday and had us scheduled for repairs by Friday (7/10/26). That was by far the quickest response of any roofing company I called after the holiday weekend. The roofing crew, led by David and his two teammates, did a fantastic job. Vincent was honest and professional—he didn’t oversell or push unnecessary work like re-routing my rain gutters. His straightforward approach and confidence in their warranty made me choose Thomas Roofing over two other quotes. With thunderstorms rolling through every day, we’re incredibly grateful for their quick turnaround. This was truly an above-and-beyond operation. I’ll be using Thomas Roofing for all future roofing needs and have already recommended them to my neighbors! Highly recommend!

𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺𝘀 Most tile roof problems in Seminole County start at the roofline where you cannot see them from the ground. Cracked tiles, lifted edges, and deteriorating mortar at the ridge and eave are the most common entry points for water, and none of them show up until moisture has already worked its way inside. That is why a proper roof inspection on a tile system requires a technician physically accessing the roof, not a drive-by estimate from the street. Our HAAG Certified Inspectors examine the full tile surface, check flashing at wall junctions and penetrations, and assess the condition of the underlayment beneath. Tile roofs are built to last 40 or more years in Central Florida, but only when underlying issues are caught early. If your tile roof is 10 years or older and has not been professionally inspected, the late summer storm season is the right time to schedule one.
