  This company is the worst because they do not communicate at all. I am a renter and it took them 4 days to complete my roof. Nobody explained why it was taking so long and didn’t give me and updates along the way. When I called the office, the lady I spoke with TWICE gave me incorrect information. On the day they finally finished the roof, I was told they would not start work until after 8AM. I was woken up at 6AM, again, with no warning. They also placed their dumpster in front of my front door and by the final day of work I had flies everywhere. If you are someone who needs that communication with a company you are hiring for a service, I highly recommend looking elsewhere. This was an absolute nightmare experience for my family.

As the tenant, we understand your frustration; however, our contract and communication were directly with the property management company, not the occupants of the property. Any scheduling updates, inspection requirements, and project timelines were provided through the designated property management representatives. While construction projects can be disruptive, we worked diligently to complete the roof as quickly and safely as possible while complying with all required inspections and approvals.   Teach your people how to park. This driver isn’t even in a space, his/her placement is hindering others from maneuvering through the parking lot properly. Not to mention, they are hindering me from properly being able to get out of the parking space. This is a bad representation of your company, and this person is putting both vehicles at jeopardy of damage with this type of apathetic behavior and mindset.

  Edit** - moved to 1 star. A rental they did in mid 2023 had a leak issue that caused almost $7000 of interior damage. Ive reached out and emailed the owner 3x and he has not responded to me. I regret ever hiring this company. Every encounter with them has been issues with poor communication. Had issues with pricing that changed multiple times. Have had communication issues with their accounting department and now I am having issues paying the remaining invoice. Issues they caused and now I get emails threatening liens on the property even though I've already paid 90% of the invoice and the remaining balance had a check mailed over a month ago and nobody has contacted saying it wasn't received. There are many roofing contractors in Orlando and I would be wary on hiring Sky Light in the future

  I will NOT happy with the way how they do their business. I had contacted a few roofing companies, and this company gave me the best price, so I chose them. To me, I felt like I have been deceived. They billed me $1000 for roof decking replacement, which I was not aware of after I received their invoice. I was extremely unhappy with it. They NEVER called or told me that they changed the decking of the roof. I clearly told them that if they are going to do something extra other than replacing shingles, they have to notify me. I was out of town at moment the crew installed the shingles, and I trusted these workers. However, I received that extra $1000 bill from this company, and I believed some parts of the decking were still in good condition but ended up changed out. I don't think is the correct way of doing business. I am writing this review to let other people be aware of this company possible extra charge not based on the quoted price.

  From the initial consultation with Mike at skylight, roofing. I cannot say enough good things about him and the company. I had a total of 3 estimates for my roof looking at the different quality of material that was going to be used on the roof and discussing the price. And warranty. At the end of the day I chose skylight roofing for Mike's professionalism. And the crew came out and reroofed my house In just a few days, the quality of workmanship by the crew was a 100%. The crew leader and the crew were all very nice, very hardworking. I stopped by their wild wood office to make my final payment, the staff in the office was very helpful. And nice, I cannot say enough about the company. Itself and as a whole they are amazing to work with, and we'll leave you with a beautiful roof!! If I could give them ten stars, I would thank you very much.Skylight, roofing, and mike for putting it all together.
