  They left my property mess. Trash, soda bottles in my bushes, didn't blow off my driveway. I tried to address the issue with employees but couldn't communicate with them. I wish there was a way to leave zero stars but Google won't let me.

  This is not a client , it’s a competitor trying to make an excellent company of over 50 years look bad. GKR is the premium standard of customer service. When you’re on top only the bottom feeders will try to pull you down, we wish them the best.

  Dan we apologize to you, our office failed from the beginning for explaining what you wanted they should’ve told you that it cannot be done, or that we do not do that type of roofing. The office kept trying to figure out a way to do what you requested within the requirements of codes and roofing technology, and they could not find a resolution to help you. They should’ve told you that from the beginning and they didn’t and that is our fault. We hope you were able to find a person that was able to accommodate your request that we were not able to do.   A very nice and helpful gentlemen came over to the house to get us an estimate. Haven’t heard back for months. Thank you for your reply. I hope your employees family is ok. I’d imagine your team would have taken over his work load and helped him out in the months he was gone. Happy others got the five star experience though 👍

  Well what can I say, I paid alot of money for my tile roof to be installed, they missed alot details and left them unfinished. To me you can do a big job good, but if you leave the little details unfinished, then you didn't do a good job...I will not call them to fix the the problems i am encountering right now, because it seems they are always in a hurry...this was a complete reproof, and they did not replace alot of the facia wood that is in need of replacement, left alot of holes in the roof which I found it odd because of animals and pest....it was not a repair job it was a complete reroof... so i am was not satisfied with the work they did...they left all my gutters full of garbage and broken tiles, over all not happy for a $76,000 job...I feel I could of hired any handy man and they could have done a better job....I'm writing this review now 3 months after installation because I am getting upset every time I step outside and see the quality of work they did. I had to called them to point out the bad workmanship around the house when it should have been their onsite manager checking up on their work.....yes some of it was fix, but is like putting a piece of cardboard on something that you know should have been done and complete from the very beginning.

The last time you spoke with our supervisor when he finished your odd request to install chicken wire on the eves, you and your wife said you were extremely happy and there was nothing more you needed from us. We take every job seriously and we do not leave a project until the home owner is satisfied. We have made several attempts to contact you and if you think your roof is not 100% then we will make every attempt to make it that way, but if you tell our staff one thing then write another and don't contact us we can not fix any of your concerns. You still have a warranty and a company that is hear to help in in any way we can, but it all starts with open communication. We have over 300 photos of perfectly installed roof which we emailed to you. Thank you again and hope to hear from you in the future.

  Tire to deal with and wait for service with this company. Before Irma, I had a roof leak on my property. The $1,200 repair didn’t work. After the job is done, the leak just aggravated. Than came Irma. Insurance did not see any demage caused by the Hurricane. Than started a saga of miscommunication with Golden Key roof. Now, has passed 5 months, and still have the problem. Last week, a technician went to check the roof and promisse another quote by last Thursday. Friday afternoon, i stopped by there, and the lady promissed to send the estimate by Monday. Tuesday, I called them and the call service lady said She had no knowledge about any estimate. Basta!!!!! It looks like a small company has overwhelming work after Irma Hurricane and cannot hadle it professionaly. I Do not recommend.

We have not been in business since 1975 to let people down. But we are not a storm chasing company and when a hurricane its our area it does overwhelm this family owned company, because unlike most roofing companies out there we will not sell our soul to just do a lot of jobs, we are going to make sure each job is done correctly.   No question Gold Key is the best roofing company that will be there after the installation with any concerns, questions, or service needs. I have had nothing but excellent service, quality of installation, and a swift professional response when any further questions or service needs have come up. Recently I called to ask if a gutter contractor may have installed a project incorrectly affecting my roof and Ashley came by to look at the issue within a 1/2 hour of my call!

  Gold Key replaced our roof on a commercial office building for us while we were in a different state. Communication was great and photos were sent of repairs needed and when job completed. No complaints and would recommend .

  I just wanted to give an update on the roof Gold Key roofing installed in January 2026. Everything has been great, including the solar vent and, of course, the insulation you installed. I also wanted to share this feedback with you so you can pass it along to the company owner. The roof has performed very well. We’ve had some nasty storms, as you know, and everything has held up great. The biggest thing you may want to share with customers who are considering a new roof, insulation, or a solar vent is the impact it can have on their energy bills. On average, our electric bill has been more than $100 lower than it was during the same period last year. I’ve been comparing our Duke Energy bills from before and after the roof was installed, and the combination of the new roof, insulation, and solar vent has made a noticeable difference. Our air-conditioning unit is about seven years old, so it’s not as though we have a brand-new AC system creating the savings. As you know from seeing the house, we also have a pool pump that runs more than eight hours a day. The smallest savings we’ve had on a monthly bill since the installation was $91. Every other month has been a little more than $100 in savings, which is very impressive. This time last year, our bill was $477, and this year it was approximately $386. We’re hoping to see another significant savings in August. Our August 2025 electric bill was around $500, and with all the heat and heat waves we’ve experienced this summer, we’re extremely pleased with the results so far. Your price was very reasonable, and the installation crew did a great job. They were professional, respectful of our property, and left us extremely happy with the entire experience. When we first discussed the roof, one of our main goals was to reduce our energy bills, and it has worked out fantastically. Thank you again for everything.   Excellent Experience with Gold Key Roofing! I had a great experience with Gold Key Roofing from start to finish. My sales representative, Eric Altman, was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire process easy. The crew completed our roof in just two days and took extra care to protect our pool screen enclosure from any falling debris during the installation. The onsite crew was professional, friendly, and respectful of our property. I was especially impressed with the cleanup.   After a hail storm, it was determined by my insurance adjuster that I needed a whole new roof, despite the house being just three years old. Gold Key did a great job on my roof and cleaned up completely after the job. They also guarantee their work, which is a big comfort. Additionally, they worked within the adjuster’s estimate which I appreciated.
