  Hey Carl, First off, we just want to say that we're really sorry your experience with us wasn’t as smooth as it should have been. We never want a customer to feel frustrated or let down, and while we’re happy to hear you were satisfied with the work itself, we completely understand why the issues you ran into left a bad taste in your mouth. About the Quote Change: When we sent the initial estimate, we noted that we’d need to do an on-site inspection to verify your flat roof's pitch, in order to ensure the proper scope of work and finalize pricing. Since we didn’t do that right away (you were generous enough to send over some photos!), after further evaluation of the project we had to check later to make sure everything was accurate and would be done in compliance per building code. We did send an email before stopping by, but after looking into it, it seems like it may not have been delivered correctly—which is totally on us. We’re sorry about the confusion on this part, and are surprised to just now hear you hadn't received that memo. We're glad to hear that this ultimately didn't affect your decision to move forward with us though, and we will be sure to implement changes to avoid this in the future, as we do not condone accessing our customer's property without permission. As for the price increase, we get that unexpected costs are frustrating. However, the additional work was necessary, and while the costs associated were industry standard, we wanted to work with you to find a fair middle ground, which is why we split the difference as you mention. We’re glad to hear our price was still one of the best you received, but we completely understand why it was frustrating at the time. About the Scheduling Mix-Up: We simply dropped the ball on this one with a scheduling conflict, and we own that mistake. We know it’s a huge hassle to take a day off only to have plans changed at the last minute, and we’re really sorry for the inconvenience. To try to make up for

  I have an appointment at 10 AM. The guy called me at 9:15 and told me that if I can be there at 9:30 I said my appointment is At 10 AM I couldn’t be there at 10 AM. I got to the property and he is nowhere to be found. I called him. He says that he’s filling up gas. I don’t think this guy is reliable so I canceled my estimate and I’m going with another company, this company is unreliable.

  If there is a zero I would like to give to them a zero. I was so busy when I did replacement with them. They explained very well to all the details accepted with I have to pay an extra in the end. I paid 2.500 for my insurance deductible and no one said I have to use materials my insurance doesn’t cover . I’m so mad because nobody ever said anything about my insurance do not cover that material they will use. Don’t I have the right to know that? It is unbelievable! If you choose this company you just have to pay what ever they say in the end you have to pay. They will never let you know until your final payment. They given me an estimate 11,000 for without my insurance. It is not cheap because my house is 1450 sqft. My mom did her roof for less than 11,000 with her 2.042 sqft two stories house last year. Now my insurance went up 1,000 for next year because they asked my insurance paid 14,000 for replacement. I’m really really upset about this roofing company. I will let all my friends know and do not recommend this roofing company to anyone we have known.

We would like to respectfully address the concerns you have mentioned, to clear up some confusion there seems to be and to provide some helpful information for any other homeowners who may see this. We share the same frustrations you have outlined and are seeing these concerns become more frequent within the homeowners insurance claim industry here in Florida. We are happy to hear your mention of our team having explained all the details very well. Let's dive in even deeper and I'm confident we can gain some clarity together! Let's tackle your first concern, which speaks to the communication of necessary and required unforeseen materials not being covered by your insurance company. With any roofing replacement project, there is always a possibility of unforeseen rotten wood being discovered during the tear off process, and it is impossible to accurately assess the exact quantity required prior to tear-off. As outlined in almost any roofing contractor’s contract, it is standard protocol that any hidden damages discovered be replaced. This work will be subject to additional charges whether the insurance company policy covers it or not. Most insurance restoration contractors, such as Gravity Roofing, will submit a supplemental estimate after project completion to see if there is coverage, prior to submitting the additional work invoice to the policyholder. Again, we mutually share the frustration of Florida Insurance Carrier's becoming more and more unwilling to cover this required and necessary scope of a roof replacement project.   I had a tech named Billaal come to my home to inspect my roof. I had one very small area that had ONE shingle missing. He said they only replace roofs, so he referred me to one of their "trusted" roof companies that could fix it. I was quoted by this other guy $1,200 FOR ONE SHINGLE! Billaal was nice, but after asking him several times to send me the photos of my roof area, he still never did. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

As mentioned on our phone call, we are a full-service roofing company who offers both replacements and repairs. However, we do have labor minimums in place regardless of the size of the repair. Out of courtesy, we referred you to a small local roofer who performs minor repairs in hopes their pricing would be more in the realm of what you were looking for. We strive for Customer Satisfaction and were trying to assist you in a way we believed was the best option. We appreciate your input and will take your feedback into consideration in order to better enhance our services.

  Hunter made everything so easy - start to finish. We needed a new roof due to non renewal of insurance. The quote was spot on, install was on time, it looks great, and with the wind inspection that was included we were even able to lower our insurance premium!

  Taz was a super great guy to work with. The process with him was super smooth. Our new metal roof looks absolutely amazing and our neighbors have stopped us to comment how great it looks. Of course there were some bumps along the process but everything is being corrected and it is stunning!

  Outstanding job by Daniel inspecting our roof for a possible water leak. While the leak was not in the roof, he went way above expectations to find the leak in our wall. He even provided us with the tools and instructions to fix the wall ourselves. Highly recommend Daniel and Gravity roofing for their honesty and customer focus.

  Still extremely happy with Gravity Roofing as we fix multiple issues with a very poorly done roof replacement. Hunter was great identifying the issue and getting our estimate together and Bernie did a terrific job with the repairs. Hopefully we don't need more roof repairs, but if we do - we'll be calling Gravity Roofing.

  I highly recommend Gravity Roofing! They did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. The entire team was extremely professional, organized, and respectful throughout the entire process. They went above and beyond to protect my property, taking extra care around my plants and garden while completing the roof installation. Their workmanship was neat, precise, and of the highest quality. What impressed me most was their attention to detail.   I had an excellent experience with this roofing company from start to finish. They arrived on time for every appointment, provided a very detailed and thorough quote, and took the time to explain the scope of work so there were no surprises.
