  I called Toiture Québec and told them I had serious moisture problems in my attic and needed an expert opinion to pinpoint the exact cause and get a quote to fix it. They quoted me $225 (okay… a bit pricey considering most other companies don't charge for quotes, but hey, I don't mind paying when it yields satisfactory results, and it's not the time to be cheap when it comes to roofing problems). So, two technicians came to my house. During their inspection, they said they couldn't find the cause of the problem. There were a few heat sources here and there, but nothing to make the insulation so wet. They suggested replacing the wet insulation and better insulating my access hatch: "We're not talking thousands of dollars yet," they told me. Before leaving, they decided to check if the soffits were clogged. When they opened them, they found some wet insulation on the soffit. That's when they told me the soffits would need replacing and that it would cost around $12,000. Wait a minute... I thought I'd try removing the insulation if that's the only thing blocking it, right? Anyway, they never found the real source of the problem. A few days later, I received the quote: $22,404 to redo my entire roof... I wrote to get an explanation; I wanted to know how they came to the conclusion that everything needed to be redone. The project manager told me that for that, they would have needed an expert assessment with photos, and that would have cost me $395... I find that ridiculous. Why didn't they tell me that when I called? Several companies came by in the meantime to do inspections; almost all of them had thermal imaging cameras, and they all found the exact cause of the problem without charging anything for the assessment. In any case, Toiture Québec had no trouble cashing the check.

  I had my entire roof redone by Toiture Québec: the complete roof, insulation, soffits to improve ventilation, as well as certain structural components, including the supports and columns of my front porch. It was a major project that could have been very stressful, but everything was managed impeccably. The service was truly outstanding: proactive, responsive, and extremely well-organized. Whenever I had a question, I received a quick and clear answer. The quotes were detailed and transparent, with no surprises. The planning, follow-up, and communication were excellent from start to finish. The finishing is meticulous, and everything has been carefully considered.
