  Called twice,in was told someone would go out look at 2 houses and give a bid..i don't know if anyone ever went out..never heard from anyone. I called another roofing company.

This coincided with us changing over our follow-up system, and reaching out to you accidentally fell through the cracks because of this transition. We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers and we know we dropped the ball on this. Mitch reached out by phone to let you know we are sorry. Again, we understand the frustration, and we apologize for this lapse in our normally rock-solid service! This issue with our system has been rectified for future customers so that it doesn't happen again.

  I am a general contractor and Mitch came out to a job of mine on Tuesday and sent me a quote on Wednesday. I called and gave him the go ahead on Thursday and that I would have a check for deposit by early next week. He text me on Friday that he had a material increase and would let me know the cost difference which I didn't like it being after we had agreed on a price and then he called me on Saturday and said they would not do the job at all because of cost increase and product availability being harder to get. I already had a contract with my customer and they are now upset and have taken the job away from me because of Mitch not standing behind what he said he would do. I will never use them and do not recommend them if they cannot even honor something within a few days of when they tell you.

  While we do understand the situation is not ideal, we received no contract to do this work, so no firm price had been set, whether with you as the contractor or directly with the homeowner, which we would typically do for a job of this size. The initial estimate was for work to be done in the fall, and moving the timetable forward multiple months was going to have an impact on our cost to do the work. Current costs for materials are extremely high, and the initial estimate was given with the expectation that prices would have possibly come down by fall, and this would have been reassessed at that time. Also, you specifically requested for additional work to be done that you requested an updated price on. Again, this would have been covered on an actual signed contract to do the work, which we never received. We apologize for the misunderstanding and issues with the pricing not being resolved before you agreed with the homeowner to have the work done. This is why we are very thorough when it comes to contracts and the process we follow with homeowners and other contractors, making sure BOTH parties are equally protected. Had we signed a contract for the work with an agreed upon price, between all parties involved, this would have been honored without question as is our normal business practice.

  The Metal Roofers crew did a superb job of installing our beautiful aluminum roof in July of 2024. Since our roof is steep , we recently had The Metal Roofers install two rows of snow rails around our roof for safety reasons.Since installation of our metal roof we have experienced on two different occasions, unusual amount of snowfall for the area we live in.Such may not happen again anytime soon, or even for years, but the snow rails give us peace of mind. Another great professional job by The Metal Roofers.The color of the aluminum snow rails blend in nicely with the color of our aluminum shingles.

  Extraordinarily pleased with purchase and installation of Class IV standing seam roof and new gutters on 2,700+ ft. ranch house in December 2025. Clear communication, on time, well run professional crew, left the work area cleaner than they found it. Highly recommend.

  Very pleased with the work that Ritz, Caleb, Alec, and the entire crew did for us. Replaced an asphalt shingle roof with beautiful metal panels.   I had The Metal Roofers handle the quoting, purchasing, installation, and support for my off-grid solar setup, and the entire process was seamless from start to finish. From the initial quote to final installation, everything was clearly explained, on time, and handled with true professionalism. A special shout-out to Nolan, the electrical engineer, who went above and beyond to keep me updated throughout the project. He made sure I fully understood how every component of the system worked and answered all my questions with patience and expertise. It’s rare to find a company that makes a complex project this easy, but The Metal Roofers delivered on every front. Highly recommend them for anyone considering solar or roofing work!   Our experience with Ritas, Nolan, and the team at The Metal Roofers was top-notch, start-to-finish. A properly specified metal roof does not make a house hotter in summer. In many homes, it reduces heat gain because modern metal roofing can reflect solar radiation, release heat quickly, and work with attic ventilation and insulation. The roof surface can still feel hot in direct sun, but surface temperature is not the same as indoor comfort or total heat transfer. The important factors are solar reflectance, coating quality, roof color, attic airflow, insulation level, and installation quality. Cool-roof-rated metal finishes and infrared-reflective pigments can reduce roof heat absorption, including on darker colors. Balanced soffit and ridge ventilation helps remove attic heat, while insulation slows heat transfer into the living space. A finished residential metal roof is also a layered assembly, not just exposed metal over the room below; the panel, underlayment, roof deck, air space, insulation, and ceiling all affect comfort. A dark, poorly ventilated roof over weak insulation can still run hot, but that is a system-design problem rather than proof that metal roofing makes homes hotter. The correct conclusion is that a well-installed metal roof can lower attic temperature, reduce air-conditioning load, improve summer comfort, and help reduce cooling costs compared with conventional dark asphalt roofing.Jun 22, 2026
