  Their aggressive door-to-door solicitation after storms is distasteful and unprofessional. The pressure they place on homeowners to secure business is excessive and concerning. It was also troubling that they refused to provide an estimate before first determining how much our insurance company had paid, which is frankly none of their business. They do not represent our homeowners insurance provider, and their role should simply be to provide a fair and transparent estimate for the work needed. They never provided us with a written estimate for the work needed, therefore did not get our business. Would not recommend unless you enjoy dealing with pushy sales tactics, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

  They were extremely helpful and responsive on the front end but then didn't do everything we were told they were do, won't return our calls, and a said they fixed a spot that leaks but it just leaked again and nobody will return our calls to address it. As you can see below they responded that they will follow up and he came by and saw what needs to be done but hasn't followed up from that to finish the project and won't respond to our texts. Nobody from the company ever called us to follow up, we had to get our sales rep to respond.

  The repair itself was good. I’m not a roofer so I can’t really say. The reason I went with them is because the salesman who came to my door (😒😒😒) promised he would do all the communication with the insurance and it would be easy. Well he did the up front communication then disappeared and then I was left dealing with insurance asking me technical questions about the repair and I’m like I’m not a roofer how the hell should I know. The process ended up dragging on forever after the repair was made pretty promptly. All the roofing company wanted was their bill paid they weren’t really trying to communicate with me or the insurance company. In the end it turns out they didn’t replace the downspouts that the insurance had provided funds for and they took it off the final bill. Which is fine but the didn’t communicate about it which just caused a lot of headache. I was sold on the ease of communication that absolutely did not end up being the reality. And, in the end, I did not get the downspouts replaced. They were cosmetically damaged not structurally. But because it was not communicated to me I feel like I now have a problem I didn’t have before. No contractor wants to come out and do just the downspouts for that small amount of money. It should have been done when the job was done or the feel least communicated. And while I do not care at all about the cosmetic aspect of functional down spouts it creates an issue with my insurance because they paid for something that wasn’t done and it could be held against me in future appraisals or whatever. Something like that I don’t quite understand. My take home point was that when it’s all said and done now I have another issue to deal with that I didn’t have before and a little communication would have gone a long way. 😑😑😑

  This group showed up at my door and offered to do an inspection. They were about the 5 roofer to do so but I allowed them to move forward. John Emrich came back to my door with the results and I was interested in moving forward. Unfortunately that is where the process stopped. I have reached out multiple times and have been ignored. If this is how the company communicates during the sales process I am not interested in working with them. Update: As of 4 weeks later, I still never received a call, text, or email from anyone at this business. The response from the admin of the account is incorrect and misleading.

  James was on our job and he totally made our roof situation 100x worse. He never addressed our leak and then proceeded to ignore us for over a month which caused the leak to ruin our floors and drywall. Over 15k in damage and all they said they could do was give a $100 credit!!!! DO NOT USE MUSIC CITY ROOFERS!!!!!
