  Time will tell on workmanship. Back office and billing was very unprofessional. Seven months after the job was complete I received a request for an additional payment. The reconciliation process took hours of my valuable time. Customer service skills need serious upgrade.

  In July, 2022, Mr. Gregory Gillman (“Mr. Gillman”) hired The Edge Contracting, LLC (“The Edge”) for his home improvement project. The Edge promptly provided all services in a professional manner, meeting all applicable standards. The majority of cost was paid by Mr. Gillman’s insurer. This year, however, it was discovered upon audit that Mr. Gillman’s initial payment (his insurance deductible) was inadvertently not processed. Recognizing this as an oversight at no one's fault, The Edge viewed this as one of those matters simply needing to be resolved. To that end, we reached out to Mr. Gillman in a courteous manner; we also apologized to him for any inconvenience along the way, hoping we could resolve this matter in a spirit of cooperation and partnership. Mr. Gillman, instead, chose a different path, including public statements, such as this one, to besmirch and impugn our good name. The Edge does not engage in negative back-and-forth banter, as that is unproductive and unfair to all. As of this writing, we have received a check from Mr. Gillman and look forward to that payment clearing in short order, so that this matter can be considered resolved and closed. While we have no assurance or even indication that Mr. Gillman is willing to do so, we ask him to please remove all negative comments about this unfortunate occurrence.   These guys did a great job replacing my hail-damaged roof, completing the work in 1.5 days. What stands out is that everyone I dealt with was sincerely concerned about my satisfaction. A few issues came up, as happens with any large project, but they respectfully addressed them all without excuses - before, during and after the work was completed. Highly recommended.

  Tom and his team were amazing. He walked me through the process and explained what all to expect. On time arrival, professional and my new roof and gutters look great. Everything was cleaned up afterward and they finished on time. Would highly recommend!

  Edge Contracting recently repaired my roof after a hailstorm. They were courteous and extremely professional. Work was completed as promised and they kept me informed through every step of the process. Very pleased.

  I highly recommend The Edge Contracting. They are professional, down-to-earth and great to work with. Derecho ripped its way through Iowa with hurricane force winds, leaving over 1700 homes in Linn County damaged. Tom, Co-Owner of The Edge Contracting, promptly returned my call and kept every appointment scheduled with us during tough circumstances. His project manager Mitch was easy to work with and kept us informed through the entire process. With limited resources available and high demand, they went above and beyond to quickly secure our choice of siding. Mitch offered us extra reinsurance when he used FaceTime to announce the arrival of our siding. Their team of installers did a fantastic job! Their attention to detail and ability to work quickly was greatly appreciated. During a time when so many contractors left homeowners with empty promises, The Edge Contracting delivered on all. They exceeded all expectations. Thank you!

  A friend referred The Edge to us for roofing and siding. We had some bad hail / wind damage. We loved our sales guy and the operations team! Professional, courteous and quality work.   Genuinely good hearted people. Looking to serve their and your community. The priciples these guys built their company on are the same they felt they needed to go into business for.. providing an honest testiment to the values and beliefs they hold true to their cores of Family, Friendship, Marriage, and Buisness. With unwavering confidence founded upon their faith defines their solidartity and trust worthiness. Two regular people with a conpany. Doing their best, aiming tward progress, driving at success, no room for regress unless for reasoning of humility. Always doing whats right even when no one is looking.   Our home, as many in Ames IA, sustained hail damage in 2018. I requested an Edge rep. stop by and give me a quote. They checked out everything and showed me what they found. They helped me with the insurance company and coordinated related contractor work. Before work began I set timing and completion dates that fit our family needs, including our dogs.They met or exceeded them all!! Now the job is done and we have a new roof, trim, gutters and garage doors. Last week we had 50 mph winds and everything stayed tight and looks good. The Edge works hard to live their values and take pride in what they do. Wow, what a concept! I would recommend them to anyone and have to my neighbors.
