I contacted Texas Traditions Roofing to get a roof inspection done in November 2025. They assigned Micah to the effort and we spoke on the phone to schedule a time. Never heard from anyone after that. They ghosted me. Luckily I got great service from Jason at Ark Roofer.

We chose Texas Traditions Roofing because of all the glowing reviews on Nextdoor, but unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the hype. Communication felt disorganized from the start — it took multiple calls to get answers, and scheduling was a bit of a headache. Our roof and gutter project ended up taking longer than promised, and a few areas looked uneven when finished. We also had to call them back to fix some minor leaks after the first rain. While the staff were polite, the follow-up and attention to detail just weren’t what we expected. After hearing so many positive things, this was honestly disappointing. I wish our experience matched the reputation they seem to have.

We are unable to find a record of your roof replacement in our system with the provided information. Our team has not received any calls to repair minor leaks on recent replacements. As of the date of this review, it had not rained in more than 60 days. We take concerns about misrepresentation seriously and kindly ask you to update or remove this review if posted in error. Dont get your roof done by these guys… they not only took my deposit but then charged $8000 in “restocking fees” on a $13k roof. Total scammers

Hi Michael, as mentioned in our email exchange, we have not invoiced you for any services. Upon your request, we did provide an estimate for the restocking fees we incurred each time you rescheduled your replacement. However, that estimate did state that we are not passing those charges along to you. The contract was initially signed in 2023 and cancelled in March 2025, making your deposit non-refundable. Please let us know if you have any other concerns.

On March 12th Texas Traditions completed a large repair for me after storm damage to my roof. At first I was very excited by their prompt response and getting me on the schedule. Unfortunately my excitement was short lived. Within a week the shingles they installed were lifting and shifting on the roof. I contacted Micah immediately and informed him of the issue. He told me he would get in touch with “production” (which based off my previous experience with production) I thought ment someone would be coming to fix the roof. That was my mistake as I waited several weeks assuming I was on their schedule. Eventually I reached back out to Micah to confirm someone was coming and I was told that the moving shingles weren’t covered under the workmanship warranty. I again explained that the shingles lifted and moved within a week of being installed and there were no storm events during that time. He agreed to come out and take a look and implied the work would be covered if it was apart of their prior repairs. I agreed that was fair and he said he’d be out the next Monday. He was a no call no show after I waited all day for his arrival. It took me several attempts to reach him again. He apologized and set another date. I again waited all day and he was a no call no show. At this point I’m tired and disappointed. It’s been a week since his last promised visit with no solutions in site. I will be moving on and picking another company to fix the repairs made by Texas Traditions. I would not recommend them to anyone who wishes for their roof repairs to last longer than a week.

Due to the hail storm, I called Texas Traditions Roofing after getting a referral from a friend and set up the first appointment February 26th. Then I got the insurance documents to him the next day. Then texted him again on March 6 because I hadn’t heard from anyone. He texted back that he would email me the contract and then nothing! After not hearing from anyone, I then contacted another local company on March 15th and our beautiful new roof was put on yesterday! We have another home’s roof that will be replaced soon but not by TTR!

I really loved their customer service at first. We had 3 quotes and met with 3 companies, and decided on these guys. I had their rep and one of the owners on a call to talk through my options. The owner, wish I knew his name, said he would do the option I chose if it was his roof. And mentioned they back up their work for a year. I thought cool, this sounds right. So they did the work, at first very sloppy. But they quickly came back and made a straight line. Once again customer service was good. Then a rain came and tested their work. There was leaking. So I contacted them back to come seal it up some more. They said this was considered maintenance and is not covered. Sooo, now all of a sudden it isn’t backed for a year. Pretty upset I have to now get up on my own roof after spending $400, and being told one thing and not backing it up.They removed my previous caulking to use their sealant, but now it leaks in more places than when I did it. So I would not recommend them.

We originally got a self-pay estimate for roof replacement from TX Traditions. A month or so later, a major hailstorm meant that our insurance was going to pay for the roof replacement. We decided to go with TX Traditions based on their good online reviews and interaction with their salesperson. Unfortunately, from that point everything went downhill. Our experience was the opposite of what we had read in the reviews - disappointment and frustration at every step of the process. It would take me pages to describe all the problems we encountered, so I'll just hit the highlights (or lowlights): - once our insurance was involved, the price of our roof replacement went up about $6000 (original estimate didn't include gutters, though - maybe $1500) - the ventilation materials that were delivered were incorrect. They were based on a previous design and they would have been installed, if I hadn't caught it and brought it to their attention. - I never saw the supervisor on site. I didn't even have contact information for him. I had to call our salesperson and have him relay information. - significant damage was done around the house, including ripping several window screens, smashed plants (which crew tried to cover up by tying the plant together with plastic bags), broken porch tiles, and damage to our back deck that required repainting it. We didn't trust TX Traditions to do the repair work, so we did it ourselves and submitted receipts for reimbursement. They balked at paying us for our labor, even though it was much cheaper than them hiring a contractor. - the roof vents were installed incorrectly - the holes they cut were too small. We had to wait for a repair crew to come out and correct it and they didn't even finish the job the first time. I had to follow up and have them sent back out (again, no one following up from TX Traditions) - the exhaust pipe for the water heater (in the attic) got disconnected and we had to wait about 5 days - and only after I calle

I'm writing this review as fairly as possible. In fact, I debated whether to write it at all. I previously used Texas Traditions Roofing in 2019 when Wes was my point of contact, and the experience was phenomenal. Because of that positive experience, I hired them again for a DaVinci Roofscapes roof on my small 1,600-square-foot home. Unfortunately, this experience was very different. My primary point of contact was Cole. Initially, he was excellent. He seemed organized, reassuring, and confident that everything would be ordered correctly and that the project would run smoothly. I was excited to finally replace my aging roof, which was in very poor condition. I was originally told the project would take about three days. To be safe, I gave them a 13-day window. Even accounting for one rain day and two holidays, there were still 10 working days available to complete a relatively small roofing project. One of the biggest issues was project management and quality control. From what I understand, Texas Traditions Roofing uses subcontractors rather than in-house roofing crews. As a result, the quality can vary significantly. Some of the subcontractors were outstanding. The gutter crew (Ant gutter), for example, did an excellent job. Others, however, left a lot to be desired. Several issues had to be identified and documented by me rather than caught by the company. I found myself taking videos, following up repeatedly, and pointing out problems that should have been noticed during routine supervision. As the customer, I should not have had to manage quality control on the project. The largest frustration involved ordering materials. DaVinci roofs have optional specialty ridge caps that create a much more finished appearance. I specifically discussed these with Cole and was assured they had been ordered. When work began, they were not on site. They then had to be ordered, and when they finally arrived, there were not enough to complete the project. This resulted in additio
