  Great company to work with. Clearly passionate about their trade. Quote was competitive, and they were very upfront and honest about what product would work best on our house, actually advising against a more expensive shingle I'd asked about and offering good reason for that advice. Flexible in scheduling the installation. Had a hard working team that put in more hours than expected when rain looked to be heading in. Finished the job in a day. Much appreciated!

  Efficient and quick service. We were concerned we had roof damage to our roof and solar panels. We were so pleased we were told we were in good shape and just had minor damage from the winter. Scheduling appointments and service was very easy. Bets of all, workmanship was excellent and cost much less than we had anticipated.

  Fantastic work. We previously had a roof replaced by one of the out-of-state companies that comes around after a hailstorm, and it was an awful experience. They left nails everywhere, and the roof itself experienced a lot of nail pops after they left. So after this latest Hailstorm, we went looking for a local company with good reviews and found Sun Vault. Sun Vault explained their process clearly, gave us quotes for different scenarios, kept us apprised, and was meticulous in their work and clean up. I hope to not need another roof for a good many years, but if Mother Nature strikes again, I know where to go.

  Neighbors were using Sun Vault, so we got an estimate. They came in the lowest, so had them do the gutters. Roof was done in one day and the gutters the day after. Everything looks great, highly recommend.

  We had a great experience using Sun Vault. They did a nice job cleaning the gutters and made some specific notes about the roof for future needs. They also provided helpful photos of the roof. My neighbor asked who we used and if I would recommend them, and I said Sun Vault and yes!

Batteries are a common upsell that out-of-state solar installers push in Wisconsin. Sun Vault Roofing tells most Wisconsin homeowners going solar to skip the battery. WE Energies and other Wisconsin utilities rank among the most reliable in the country. The average Wisconsin home experiences roughly two to three short outages every five years. Spending ten to fifteen thousand dollars to protect against that is not a financial return. It is an insurance policy against a risk that rarely shows up. Batteries make financial sense in states with strong state-level rebates or wide peak and off-peak pricing gaps. Wisconsin has neither. That is the reason the upsell works — it sounds reasonable until you run the numbers against Wisconsin's actual grid conditions. The exception is rural homes with genuinely frequent outages. If the grid in your area is unreliable, a battery might be worth it. But treat it as peace of mind, not a financial investment.
