  Be careful when accepting their quote. They tried to double the amount by getting a supplemental from our insurance company. Also, we didn’t want our 6” gutters replaced with their 4” option since the hail damage was minimal, but the roofers left small dents with their ladders.

  We had a great experience with Status Roofing and Kevin! They handled our roof and gutters and even sprayed our fence, and everything turned out great. Kevin was professional, responsive, and made the entire process easy from start to finish. He also helped us navigate the insurance process, which took a lot of the stress out of everything.   We have used Jeff Ackerman of Status Roofing for 4 roof replacements due to hail & wind damage, & he goes above & beyond to not only get the roof repairs right, but he also works with our insurance agency on our behalf to ensure maximum payout. Status Roofing employees were great to work with, respectful & communicated well from start to finish. We highly recommend Jeff & Status Roofing!

  I highly recommend Status Roofing for anyone needing an honest and professional roof inspection in McKinney, Texas. During the sale of our home, an inspection report raised concerns about possible hail damage and put our transaction at risk. Sergio and Gage responded immediately, and Gage was able to inspect our roof the same day. His inspection was thorough, detailed, and incredibly honest. Rather than pushing for a roof replacement, he provided a professional assessment of the roof’s condition, identified the difference between minor foot-traffic wear and actual storm damage, and explained the realities of potential insurance coverage. Most importantly, Gage confirmed that our roof remains in great condition with plenty of life remaining and no signs of failure.   Stephen is the guy to deal with. He handled everything from the day I met him. Always told me when he would arrive or let me know if a few minutes later. The roof looks great. I would recommend Status and especially Stephen!

  This will be long, but honest…. First, this was an experience with a few hiccups and miscommunications, as a business owner, I know that it happens, and part of it was my fault. But that’s not where Status gets my 5 stars. My rating comes from how does a company handle it when it happens. Status reached out to me on a follow up from a year prior. We figured storm season was approaching so maybe waiting another year on a roof with a few issues might not be a good idea. They had an inspector come out, give an assessment and we agreed it should be replaced. During the process, Status was more than helpful in terms of communication, Madison was very on top of communicating any changes or issues leading up until the day. When the day came, I admittedly, in a rush, hadn’t endorsed the check deposits for the down payment and the funds needed to hold until I cleared the endorsement issue. But it was already in the mail so we couldn’t just run down and sign them. So we had to reschedule the initial install date. This caused a cascading effect in rescheduling with Status as well. So the day came of the rescheduling and a truckload of materials showed up, but no crew. Finally, the field supervisor came by and to his surprise as well, no work was being done. After what seemed like another hour, Madison texted me and said a crew would be there in 30 mins. And they were. They got there, went straight to work, and got us an entirely new roof put on in what seemed like 8 hours flat. I was impressed. Not only that, they came back the next day just to make sure they cleaned up properly and fix anything they didn’t catch before. The owner even dropped by to make sure everything went smooth. I would recommend this company to anyone. They’re fast, openly communicate, friendly, and do great work.

  We met with Sergio Lara for an inspection and we were satisfied with his service. He was informative, knowledgeable, and helpful throughout the inspection.
