  As someone who has some experience and knowledge about roofing, I was disappointed with the whole process from start to finish with HPR. They did not follow my instructions, did not return my phone calls, roofed over bad decking, nailed outside the required nail zone, and did not put underlayment in certain ridge areas. I had to call them back twice to fix their mistakes. My suggestion would be to find a "roofer" that has only one crew, no salesman. no office manager, and takes pride in his work.

  Probably the worst roofing experience I’ve ever had..As a roofer not bad but they left +20 nails on the ground. Trimming and other debris, I rented a “magnet broom” to go over the flower beds and yard. I couldn’t believe how much was left behind. Another issue is the solar attic fan…. It has always oscillates and makes a high pitch squeal that can be heard when the AC isn’t running. I’ve called them, had them come out, sent them a video with sound to show them the problem, nothing but crickets, no one even called me back. So I have attic fans I never asked for. Slow or no communications, I had to push this project all the way to this point. I don’t know if the remainder will be fixed. They got the money and ran.

  Horrible service overall. Wrong materials, Wrong configuration, installers not showing up, removed windows not on the list to be touched, broke inside shutters and never told us!, 6-7 months late for completion, bad internal communication and no own is taking ownership to the horrible job, BUT we had to stick it out to get the same windows all around or start all over with a new supplier. They want 100% of the job price and won't talk to us. Collection folks engaged and it is a terrible position to be in....WE had to push push push, wasted our vacation days, left materials in our back yard for MONTHS on end... AWFUL. BUYER stay away and find another solution to your needs or know the risk you face.

  We had our roof replaced by HPR in August 2017, due to hail damage. We went with them because they assured us that they would also handle all supplemental repairs (gutters, staining, paint, etc.) so that we wouldn’t have to worry about it. A few days into the roof install, the crew left with no explanation, the unfinished roof was exposed and a rain storm was coming. I had to call them and they explained that they sent the crew to another project because they ran out of shingles. They didn’t believe me that the roof was exposed until I sent them pictures. Multiple storms came, then comes the water intrusion into the house. I ended up crawling around my attic with the only person from HPR who wasn’t out of town, trying to identify the source of the leaks for multiple days; through multiple storms. The roof was incorrectly installed and it caused severe water damage to our home, including buckling hardwood floors and mushed dry walls on both stories, etc. Our project manager was out of town on multiple trips, even though he assured us he would personally oversee the roof work. We had to deal with the owners directly, but they couldn’t figure out where the leaks were and were going to simply give up. They suggested we get another roofer over to repair our roof... They also said it was probably a preexisting issue, even though our home was dry inside before they replaced the roof.. After I insisted they try harder to fix the leak, and as they were walking away to leave, I had them do a water leak test which identified the leak. Thus, the nightmare continues. A disaster recovery service installed 15 massive fans and dehumidifiers that droned on for a week and got us very sick. At this point we were on our own to repair all the damages and spent several months and hundreds of hours of our time to find contractors, negotiate pricing, and work with multiple insurance companies and loss adjusters to repair our home. It took five months of our lives to deal with this. During

  I had High Performance Roofing check my roof because another roofing company told me that my roof is not in good shape and he was 100% sure that he can get my insurance to pay for roof replacement. I needed a 2nd opinion so I called High Performance. Brad came out to check my roof, and he was not only honest (that my roof is quite OK with minor damages that don't post leaking risks) but also very thorough in going through all the photos he took on the roof. He patiently explained everything, including checking my home owner's insurance policy and explained the pros and cons of filing a claim now vs. wait until there's more hail damage. You can tell that this roofing company is honest and cares about their customers-- I'm not their customer (yet) but I know when I need roof repairs in the future I'll call them.
