  I met with Rhett on Tuesday. He actually came to house, got out a ladder, went and found what was causing our leaking roof and said how he would fix it. The other two contractors we met with showed up with quotes just based on roof size. We agreed to Southern Star based on this and best quote which was thousands less. They were here first thing Thursday morning and were done by 3:00pm with re-roofing entire house, clean up. Roof looks fantastic, clean up was awesome! Not a single left over nail was found. I would highly recommend Southern Star Roofing to anyone in the market for new roof.

  Southern star roofing is a great company to work with from my first phone call to get an estimate to the completion of my roof. I found the roofers were hard working from the moment they started until they left and my new roof looks great. I highly recommend this company!

  Using Southern Star Roofing was a very nice experience. My experience with Brandon, was excellent, he was very polite, and very timely with all responses. The installation crew arrived at 7:15am and had completed the job by 12:50pm. They covered all my bushes, and removed all debris. This was a excellent experience and I do plan to use Southern Star Roofing for other services.

  I couldn't be happier with my new roof. I had several other bids and Southern Star was the best offer, Including gutters replaced. Greg who gave the estimate was personable and professional, and the roof was replaced in one day. Also the office was a pleasure to deal with. So, I can't say enough good things about this company!

  Southern Star Roofing did an excellent job installing our new metal roof. We love it! I do recommend getting a larger color sample to double check the color before ordering. We originally ordered what I thought was a dark blue roof from the tiny sample. When it arrived it was vastly lighter and brighter than we expected. We hated it. We couldn’t live with that color. Everyone agreed that perhaps the sample did look darker on the brochure and in the tiny sample than it looked in bright sunlight on our house. Best Buy Metals (metal supplier) was contacted to see what could be done. Best Buy Metals said it was the color we ordered and they couldn’t do anything to help us. We ended up ordering another roof in black, paying an additional $12,000 for that second roof, making our new roof at total of $42,000, instead of $30,000. We were very disappointed that there was no other solution to lessen the blow. In fact it was proposed to Best Buy Metals that perhaps the blue roof could be donated to the local hurricane relief and rebuilding effort for a tax credit/writeoff, but they were not interested in helping the community or us. Our salesman Greg Martinson did work tirelessly to make sure we were happy with the new roof in the end. We were very pleased with him and with the crew that came to install our roof. The crew was polite and took their time to make sure it was correct. After the fact we understand we should have asked to go see the blue roof in person before ordering it. We do believe if we had even seen a larger example of the color, like 1/2 a sheet, we would have seen it looked bad for our home, and decided to change to black before spending $12,000 on blue metal that is now lying in my yard. Photo is of the ‘dark blue’ roof meant to match the shudders. Do you think it matches?

  I hired Southern Star for a new roof on my property and am very happy with the job they did. The staff made if easy to understand what was needed and keep me informed throughout the process.   My 5 stars are for the two hard working men who installed my roof. They arrived early and only took a short lunch break and worked late in order to get the job done in one day. I hope Southern Star Roofing appreciates and adequately compensates their employees for their effort to keep the company running. Thanks to these men I can feel comfortable with my new roof It's beginning to look like the $50 gift card for a 5 star review is a scam. It's been over a month and to my knowledge I haven't received any gift card.

  From the initial meeting to the finished roof… Southern Star Roofing did an excellent job. They were professional, friendly and efficient!
