Pouring rain, poor visibility, and he decides to cut in without a turn signal. Causing traffic moving much faster to all slam on their brakes... all 4 people that where in the car will spread the word. (On how if they don't care about human life, why would they care about the quality of work performed).

Looking at most of your reviews you just drive around and take pictures and wait for somebody to do something that you don’t like. Get a life.

I have struggled to post this review. This company moved in less than a mile from my house, which we wanted to use locally, and the owner seemed pleasant and was initially very responsive. Yesterday was the final straw. After contacting the owner on 19 May about the screen repair and gutter blockage, I have yet to receive any resolution. Day two involved the workers tripped and subsequently fried my outside outlet with their air compressor. Though it was replaced about 8 hours later by a member of the crew, this caused outlets to my office and the internet to be out that same amount of time. There was no After Action/Walk around for quality and customer satisfaction. It wasn't until a few days later I discovered the bent gutter, repaired by Asheville Roofing, torn screen, again repaired by Asheville Roofing, but the quality of repair was so poorly done that the screen undulates in the wind. One gutter next to my front door was so clogged that the rain spilled over the gutter along the fascia. This I finally fixed yesterday and discovered partial tiles, plastic, and about 23 roofing nails. Statistically, where there is one plugged downspout, there are others. I just don't have a ladder tall enough to assess. The roofing tiles were slammed so hard onto the roof, that they actually dislodged the can lights from my ceiling. Yes, the owner put them back in, they are not set as original and the paint does not align. In the contract, the Vents/covers are supposed to be painted to match the roofing tiles. Well, I can tell the same 18-year-old bird poo and faded black covers are exactly as they were before the job was completed. In all fairness, I contacted the owner on 19 May and have yet to see him or hear back. I give them a 1/5 as the tiles are on the roof and so far no leaks.

Ralph. Sorry you had issues. We are not perfect. Your wife was there when we looked at gutter and nothing was mentioned of clogged gutter or we would of fixed it to. We have not tried to do you wrong. Since May 19 we have been there twice to correct any issues. We dont might coming back either. Again sorry for issues. I thought we corrected them but I guess not

I will not mention any names but I will mention the company, Asheville Roofing. The experience started out good all the way to making the payment. I was cleaning out the gutters from a step ladder, I noticed nails underneath the shingles that hadn’t been nailed down shingles was placed over the nails, I also notice some bad places on some of the shingles. I sent my contact asking to come out take a look at my concerns I did provide photos. He agreed to come out to look at the roof, he ended up not showing up. I contacted my contact by email a couple weeks later for another attempt to have him come out and look at the roof, I did get a response stating that he would come out when his shingles got better, that was about six weeks ago. My first attempt to have my roof concerns addressed is approximately one year ago. Like I said everything was good until I had a request/question. I have saved all emails and text messages. This is sad to say, I would not recommend Asheville Roofing to anyone at this point. I am responding to Asheville Roofing’s response to my review. They stated that they had already been to my house to address my concerns, and stated I had no issues. If someone came to my residence why was I not notified, I would not have done such a bad review and why did my security cameras not see anyone.

We have already been there and you have no issues. You have a warranty as well? What do you want me to do. Seems very inconsistent with all my other reviews.

Unfortunately we weren't able to provide a review for quality of work, because it looks like they do great work. We had limited communication and multiple no-shows to scheduled start dates. We had an active roof leak and were able to get a quote, but after the quote we received limited to no correspondence. We rearranged our work schedule to be at home on the dates of the scheduled repair, but they were a no-shows. This occurred 3 times and after 3 months and water leaking into our house, we finally needed to notify them that we will look for another company to complete the repair. We hope whatever caused this poor communication is resolved.

Hired Ray and team to install a new roof on our house we just purchased. Everything started fine but after the team finished installing the roof, we had a new leak in the chimney. Called Ray and told him. He was backed up on his schedule so it rained and we waited two days while the water ran down our chimney into our bedroom even after I installed a tarp over the chimney. A worker finally showed up and calked around the chimney saying it was just an old chimney and not their fault. Rain again and the chimney still leaked. The team came back out and tried to fix the leading edge of the roof where it meets the chimney. They said it was fixed (third time) …it rained again and more water fell into our house. On the fourth time around, they finally installed the chimney flashing (which was supposed to be installed on day one). The leak, a month and a half later, is fixed but the reputational damage is not. I must say I have never paid thousands of dollars to have the finished product be worse than the previous. To make matters worse, as payback for a poor job they were going to install chimney caps for free. Still have not heard back from Pedro at B&B construction (outsourced team) about that. Overall, I would have kept my old roof for another two years over hiring this company. Follow up (5 months later)- still no chimney cap or call back from either Ray or Pedro. He seems to be a lot faster at responding to Google reviews than fixing customer issues….

We ended up replacing all your siding around your chimney (free of charge) this was not on your contract. All we was under contract for was your roof. At least be honest

Communication was inconsistent. Many nails were left around house. Outside water left on by workers for a week before being discovered.

They did the roof quickly and on schedule! But since then we've had some issues and they've been uncommunicative after letting us know that we should reach out if anything comes up and they would help us out. No complaints on the front end, but we were promised more support in the long term.

Hey Andrew, my name is Ray and I own Asheville Roofing. Please give me a call at the office. I have no idea what this is about, but I’d like to get to the bottom.

I just want to shout out to Matt Gardner and Asheville Roofing as the best roofing company in the Asheville area. My daughter's roof was damaged from Helene. I had called 5 other roofing companies to which the responses were 3x over budget from what insurance was offering, to no call backs, to one guy who just said, "I concede", and got back in his truck and left. I fought 16 months with the insurance company, haggling, and they had to keep coming out to justify giving us $100 or $200 to come close to what the roof would cost. Matt even spoke with them to tell them about wrong measurements and what materials cost now. He really saw how frustrated I was. Bottom line is Matt stuck with us and put us back together and for that I will be forever grateful..way to go Matt Gardner and Asheville Roofing.

I hired Asheville Roofing to replace our roof, including the fascia and soffit. They also installed new siding, hung new gutters, and painted the exterior of our home. The entire project was completed in approximately three weeks. Each crew arrived on schedule, worked professionally, and completed their portion of the project with great attention to detail. The quality of the workmanship and the overall communication throughout the process exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend Asheville Roofing to anyone looking for quality exterior home improvements. They did an outstanding job from start to finish

Our home was severely damaged by Helene. Our neighbors and we were trapped for days, had multiple trees poking holes in the roof. Rain coming in of course. Asheville Roofing showed up almost immediately and we have always been thrilled with their work. Highly recommend.

Shawn and the Crew with Asheville roofing did a phenomenal job of diagnosing the roof condition of a 60 yr old property. This company is very professional and explains every single aspect of the job, from what is necessary to what you could possibly wait on. I felt like I got an honest but comprehensive estimate for the extensive work that needed to be done to bring my grandparents home back to life. I wouldn't hesitate to call them again should I need any structural repairs or roof shingle replacement. Very pleased with the job they did. One last comment is that I was given frequent updates from start to finish to payment. They're the best.

Absolutely amazing! Kip was super responsive and in contact the whole time. From the time of estimate to actual completion it was only a week. Amazing. Will use them again anytime

After a tree fell on my home, I drove over to Asheville Roofing on Riceville Rd and spoke to Kip. While the damage appeared minor, it was clear I had an exposed area on the edge of my home and I had less than 24 hours until it was going to rain over the next 2 days. Not being sure if this was something for which I wanted to file a claim (and no time to decide), Asheville Roofing was nice enough to come out same day and tarp my steep roof at no charge, allowing me the time to plan the best path forward. Most roofing companies will push to get a claim started right away, quoting all kinds of exorbitant prices, but not Asheville roofing! They were sympathetic to both the urgency of the situation and the importance of my personal decision-making process. With time on my side, I can now plot the best path forward and you can bet, regardless of which direction I go, Asheville roofing will be performing this repair and all of my future roofing needs! Thank you to Kip and Asheville Roofing!

Asheville Roofing did a wonderful job for us! Ray was quick to respond, answered all our questions and workers did a great job installing and clean up afterwards. We had one issue that Ray addressed quickly and resolved to our satisfaction. We would recommend this company for your roofing needs.

We needed a new roof, so I contacted Asheville Roofing and two other local roofing contractors to solicit bids. All three contractors were prompt and thorough with their analysis and bids. However, Asheville Roofing offered everything at 20% plus savings. Also, Matt Garner with Asheville Roofing was great to work with. He helped us pick out the right shingles and made this process much easier than expected. I would highly recommend that you check out Ashville Roofing and Matt Gardner for your roofing needs!
