  Andretta, Solid Rock Roofing has been installing gutters for 33 years; since 1990. The installer on your job in 2019 had 20 years of experience and continues to install for us today. The first estimate provided was for 6-inch gutters and 4” downspouts. It was rejected. We replaced your existing 5-inch gutter system that had been on your home since it was built in 1988, with a new 5-inch gutter system. Since 1988 that 5-inch system had been adequate to handle the volume of water. Your report that the gutters became unable to handle the volume of water indicates that there is something else going on. Solid Rock Roofing replaced rotten fascia wood, soffit wood and, also referred you to a carpenter/painter to perform necessary repairs to your already problematic deck in 2019. The new gutters were installed on 4/30/19. You called us out for minor adjustments on 1/30/20. You contacted us requesting roof estimates on rental properties on 9/23/20 with no mention of issues with the gutters on your home. You also contacted Solid Rock Roofing regarding roof estimates for rental properties on 11/5/22 with no mention of issues with the gutters on your home. It is customary to contact the company with whom you contracted the work regarding issues when one purchases warranty items like roofs and gutters. You did not make us aware of any ongoing issues nor did you give us the opportunity to troubleshoot any issues. Based on your comments, it sounds like your ground drains are clogged/obstructed and that your downspouts backed up. It’s possible that replacing your gutters will not resolve your situation.

  Just do not waste your time. Got back to me late and then decided they did not even want to help since my repairs were minor. However they suggested I use them to replace the roof entirely. So I fork up the cash then they were interested if I went with a brand new roof. Not the kind of business I want to deal with anyway.

  After Solid Rock Roofing's technician returned from this inspection for a repair request where 4 leaks were observed, we took the time to discuss the situation as a team. The conclusion reached and relayed to the customer later the same afternoon was that it was not in the customer's best interest to contract repairs. Solid Rock Roofing does not provide repairs on roofs nearing the end of their useful life or with multiple layers of asphalt shingles. There comes a time when repairs are no longer a sensible solution. Solid Rock Roofing prides itself on giving customers our most honest assessment regarding their roofing needs and does so with the best interest of their investments in mind.   Look no further. Solid rock roofing does amazing work from start to finish. Complete, honest and professional communication with emails, text, phone calls.
