Chimney flashing helps manage the transition between the chimney and surrounding roof materials. Repair work may include inspecting the existing flashing, replacing damaged sections, resealing joints, and addressing areas where materials have deteriorated. Compared with leaving worn flashing untreated, targeted maintenance can help preserve the condition of this important roof transition. Proper fitting and sealing are essential for a durable result. A completed repair can improve the appearance of the chimney area while supporting ongoing roof maintenance.

A few shingles came loose after a windy weekend, and I didn't want to wait until the damage got worse. I reached out to Simplex Roof for roof repairs in Metairie, and they were able to fit me into their schedule within a couple of days. The technician explained everything in plain English, repaired the damaged area, and even pointed out a couple of spots to keep an eye on in the future. Great experience from start to finish.

We had been putting off replacing our roof for years until we finally decided it was time. Simplex Roof made the entire process simple and hassle-free. Their team explained the schedule, answered every question, and finished the project exactly when promised. If you're considering roof replacements in Baton Rouge, these are the people to call. The workmanship is excellent, the crew was respectful of our property, and the finished roof looks even better than we expected.

Our roof was over 25 years old, and after getting several estimates, we decided to move forward with Simplex Roof for our roof replacement in Metairie. They never pressured us into upgrades we didn't need and took the time to explain the different material options. The crew showed up exactly when promised, worked efficiently, and kept our yard surprisingly clean throughout the project. The new roof looks amazing, and we've already received compliments from our neighbors. If you're looking for roof replacements in Metairie, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

After a windstorm, part of our fascia started pulling away from the roofline and birds had somehow found their way into the soffit area. We reached out to Simplex Roof for soffit and fascia repairs in Baton Rouge, and they were incredibly responsive. Their technician inspected everything thoroughly, found a few areas of hidden water damage, and repaired it all in one visit. I appreciated that they took photos before and after the work and explained what caused the problem in the first place. Honest people, fair pricing, and excellent workmanship. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

Running a po’boy shop with a TPO roof that started leaking right over my hot line. I called maybe five places – these guys were the only ones who didn’t ghost me. They came out on a Saturday morning, found a failed seam that two previous “repairs” missed, and patched it the same day. No upselling me into a full replacement I couldn’t afford yet. Gave me a realistic timeline for when I’ll need a new roof, but for now? No drips, no moldy smell. Their estimator even texted me photos of the repair after a rain test. That’s the kind of service you want down here.

Prairieville grew fast — and fast construction shows up 10–15 years later. A lot of homes here were built with standardized ventilation that was never balanced for the actual attic, and now that decking is quietly deteriorating from the inside out. Add Ascension Parish's expansive clay soil pulling flashing apart, and you've got two hidden problems most homeowners never see coming. We check both on every inspection.2 days agoLearn more
