  Perdomo removed 2 skylights and patched my flat roof, approximately 18 months ago and assured me the patch would hold for 5 to 6 years; however, the patch failed in less than half that time, creating water leak. The resulting water damage was so extensive I had to replace a large portion of the interior ceiling and have the mold mitigated. The most disappointing aspect of our experience with Perdomo was that when contacted to address the issue, Perdomo slapped a dab of silicone on a portion of the failed seam and refused to do anything further to stop the leak Equally disappointing was the fact that the owner of the company refused to contact us to work out an amicable solution.

  Danny, Our General Manager, Larry was assisting you with this issue and offered a repair option to the open seam. The seam failed due to standing water. Standing water is a common issue on flat roofs but our original repair did not correct standing water. Standing water on the flat roof will cause pre-mature aging to the surface of the modified flat roof membrane. As a courtesy, Larry offered to come back to complete a repair to the open seam. Larry informed me that you declined the repair option and would only accept the entire patch to be replaced. We did not feel that that was necessary because that was not the issue. The issue was a slightly open seam needing a repair or total roof replacement. Our repair was completed 18 months before the issue was reported to us. The original repair was sold with no warranty. We were offering to rectify the situation to attempt to keep us in good standing with you as we do for all our customers.   Requested a quote for a low slope roof replacement on top of my covered back porch. They were punctual, dressed very nice, had all the fancy expensive gadgets, but rude. I was told that as a homeowner I knew just enough to be dangerous (since I built the overhang) then the guy proceeded to tell me all of the different people he would have to get here and how much detail and skill it was going to require. Keep in mind this is a 5’ wide x 40’ long overhang nothing crazy. So after I let him big league me and give his speech, I said ok we’ll what’s your price. He said well right now we are so busy with big jobs and we make so much money on putting on new roofs with asphalt shingles that you will just need to call me in 6 months and maybe I’ll have some guys to send here. Total waste of time, and if you don’t have a easy job that makes them great returns you better keep shopping Just so everyone else knows, materials on an asphalt roof is around $140 a SQ and labor is around $65 a SQ. So I standard 2000 SF house should be around $5,800. I’m sure these dudes are charging double or more

  This review was left over a year after I visited the house for a free estimate and does not depict the advice that I provided. I was kind, punctual and offered sound advice to correct the leaking flat roof balcony. I explained that the job was not for a beginner not knowing that the homeowner tried to install a flat roof himself. I politely explained that the work needed to be redone and would require a carpenter to pull out the doors to his balcony flat roof since it was installed without a sill pan which was causing the leak inside his home. I offered to come back when it was not so busy because i could not offer a solution at the present time just days after Hurricane Ida. I offered suggestions on how to correct the issues and thought we had a good understanding that if he need us then we could revisit this issue when we had the proper personal since this required specialized flat roof technicians.

  Started a contract back on July, they advised that they would work with the insurance that the process took about 60 to 90 days. When I would call to get updates they would say "We are working on it", and that is when they would answer the phone. The owner very un professional when my wife called and spoke to get an update she was not finished with the conversation when he hung up the phone on her, in a middle of a conversation I was having with him he just walked away. That is the way he runs his business

  We were in process of helping you with your claim and within the time frame. We explained how the insurance process worked and what we could do to help. The insurance company denied your claim and your were demanding us to give you timelines which could not be provided. We did not receive any money for our time and effort. We regret that we could not assist you further.

  I have never posted a review of anything but I am making an exception here. We never got to the repair part, so I can’t speak to their workmanship, I can only speak to their lack of professionalism. It took a week for someone to come out to see what needed to be done about a leak in my roof (flashing issue). I get that summer is a busy time here, it was not a problem to wait. I was supposed to get a quote which never came. A week later, I called twice, no quote. My husband called, no quote. They are super wonderful on the phone but there is zero follow through. I would highly suggest staying away from this company as this is probably good indication of the kind of work they do as well. They can promise it all, but deliver absolutely nothing.

  I scheduled a survey with this company for some minor roof repair. The gentleman came out with a ladder that was too short. He told me he would be back the next day with a taller ladder. I was stood up numerous times throughout a 2 month period without a phone call to even let me know they weren’t coming. After 3 months and calling this morning I received a text message stating that they were too busy for my repair and couldn’t handle any additional business.

  We met Mr. Lee at our scheduled appointment on time. Mr. Lee instructed us to bring a 24 foot ladder to access roof. We determined that we needed a 32 foot ladder to access the roof safely and would need to return. Mr. Lee wanted us to access the roof in an unsafe manner which we declined. We were not able to provide him with an estimate because we were not able to access the roof.

  Perdomo roofing is prompt, thorough and stand by their work. I’m thrilled I chose them after interviewing so many roofers, they were the right choice. I used them on my home and my mother-in-laws home. The neighbor across the street also used them and I’ve referred many people to them as has my contractor.
