  Promises Made, Promises Broken. Shamrock approached me after noticing damage to my home. We went through the State Farm claims process together, and after some back and forth, reached a partial resolution. There was a gap in coverage, so Shamrock suggested bringing in an adjuster. I was hesitant — I had already opted out of certain work and was expecting a $4,000 check back as a result. Shamrock assured me that if I let the adjuster handle it, I would still receive that $4,000. I agreed, based on that promise. I never received it. I'm still owed $1,500, and after repeated attempts to resolve it, I've essentially been told to pound sand. Communication throughout this process was a consistent issue — returned calls were promised and rarely happened, follow-ups were committed to and never came. Getting anyone on the phone became a job in itself. As part of MY agreement with Shamrock, I committed to putting a sign in my yard and writing a review. The sign went up. This review has been written. My promises, unlike theirs, have been kept. I hope this saves someone else the frustration.

  Told me I had wind and hail damage. Adjuster came and no one from Shamrock showed up. Can’t recommend.

  I was asked to update this review following work that was completed recently because I left a 1 star review. Here's the rundown of what happened. I contacted shamrock in June 2023 to get a new roof for two properties. In November 2023 they did the roof around thanksgiving week. I rented a hotel for my entire family to stay in while the roof was being done on both properties because we had to move from both of them. They cancelled that morning they were supposed to start and didn't even call me, I had to check up on them and did it a different day which was very disruptive on a holiday (the day before Thanksgiving) when I had so many people there. I had been waiting months so I was just happy to have it done. The gutter guards were not put on correctly and were holding up the shingles along the edge but I was promised that by March when it got warmer the roof would flatten out. It snowed a ton and I waited. In March of 2024 I contacted them about the gutter guards because they were blowing off the roof into the yard and the downspout they were supposed to install wasn't installed correctly and the roof looked even worse because the gutter guards were holding up the edges. They said that they would come in the summer. Then there was a giant wind storm and I called because the roof still wasn't done and the gutter guards were all over the place because they hadn't reinstalled them when they put the roof back on. They came out, replaced some shingles where a tree branch hit the edge of the roof and gutter and charged me 500 while replacing the gutter guards which I was happy to pay. This was in September 2024. I went up on the roof in November to install Christmas lights and noticed tons of places where the shingles had been torn when installing the new gutter guards especially on every single corner piece. The new shingles were ripped and in some edges I could see the underlayment layer which was fixed in November 2024. Finally, I just had a siding professional come ou

  They came over to check look at the damage and they were very polite. That’s where the good things ended. 3 months later after multiple calls, emails, and text messages- no estimate or date. Maybe their work is good, but despite my best efforts, I can’t vouch for that.

  Wanted 11k for a roof on a 64k house (Plus $80 for each sheet of plywood decking they had to replace). National average for a my house is in the 4k-8k range. Found a local group that did it for ~7k which included full replacement of the decking. Good friendly people though so I can't fault them there. But when working with a large company that have overhead like this, it's just no worth it.

  Contractor working on my case was not at all helpful. I was convinced to file a claim by your company and later provided no support to back those claim. There was no followup for couple of months . Hard to get response for the queries. I wish I would hv used some other company.

  I worked with Yesi at Shamrock roofing during September – Jan 2024. This is my first time using this company and going through an insurance claim. Below is a summary of the pros/cons of my experience. Overall, I am spending a lot of time and energy tracking details of our conversations and ensuring the follow-up is getting done. Because of this, I feel I need to advocate for myself during this process which is not comfortable nor desired. I am not sure I will get the review discounts they offer for this, but I felt I needed to provide an honest, factual review of my experience. At the time, I was looking to get my gutters replaced and reached out to Shamrock due to the reviews on google. She arrived as planned for our initial meeting and seemed very familiar and comfortable with the process. She was able to get my gutters, roof, and some siding covered by my insurance which is why I ultimately decided to stay with this company (I felt it was the right thing to give the job to the person who did the work to get it approved). The roof looks well done and they did a great job cleaning up. I do have a leak in the corner of my gutters (~1 month post installation), but they have responded quickly to my work order to fix the issue. Next time I will work with someone that will lead completion of all parts of the estimate as this has created a lot of work for me. During the conversation of the scope of work, I was not sure about the siding work. They indicated I could work directly with the siding contractor for my questions. I reached out several times (both phone and text) to get my answers with no response. I am now working with another company to complete this work. Next time I will work with a company with more transparent and proactive communication. A few examples include: We had a Zoom meeting to review the estimates and costs with her branch manager to review the detail (this was a verbal conversation). I wanted to ensure that I comprehended all the det

  We originally were not looking to have any roofing work done. Dave came and knocked on our door and asked just to look at the roof. After he looked at the roof he said he believed our roof needed to be replaced. He showed us how to file the claim and we started the process. The original insurance person came out and then the claim got sent to someone else who isn’t local and they said the damage to our roof was not covered by insurance. Dave spoke to the insurance adjuster and said it was and eventually the insurance company sent another adjuster out. Dave told us to let him know when the adjuster would be out and he would be there as well. After the second adjuster came out and looked at the roof, he agreed with Dave and said he had enough for a total roof replacement. Dave was in constant communication with us and updated us consistently. I would highly recommend Dave to anybody looking to get a roof done.

  Worked with David on a roof replacement and gutters. David was friendly, competent and efficient in getting the job done. He made sure the work was completed and kept me updated on every part of the process.   I had a great experience using Shamrock Roofing. David Friend was our project manager and he went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly and efficiently, from quickly patching our leaking roof during a rainy stretch of weather to working with our insurance adjuster, and then overseeing our new roof installation.   David Friend was such a honest reliable person to work with.He informed me of what needs to be done, what the price would be , showed pictures of the damages to me .   I hired Shamrock Roofing to replace my roof from storm damage last month. David was easy to work with. While I was not in town when the roof was replaced, he kept me up to date on the progress and sent me pictures of the new roof when it was done. He also gave me some contacts to talk to on a couple other projects. Overall they did a great job and would recommend them to others.
