One of their drivers almost crashed into me when he was "merging" 3 lanes over on east bound L St, trying to get to the light to turn into the K plz shopping center. Please remind your employees to drive safely, especially when they have building materials in the back of their vehicles.

Elyse, I’m Patrick Muhs the owner of Moose Roofing. I’m sorry you had this experience with one of our employees. We take the safety of our citizens and our employees very seriously, and I will figure out who the offender was and report back to you. 4/30/2023 When things go wrong is when you can tell how good a company is by how it responds to problems. The job that Moose did for us went wrong, and they responded poorly. We took hail damage in June 2022, and Moose came out in July 2022 and pitched the job, and we signed a contract on July 18, 2022. On the last day of August and the first day of September 2022, they replaced the roof. We had also contracted with them to replace the gutters. This is when things went downhill and pretty much stayed in the ditch. The gutter people first bought out 4-inch gutters instead of 6-inch gutters. Then, when they did replace the gutters, the installation was below par. My wife was constantly after Moose to get this fixed, but it was an uphill battle. The installers left cigarette butts, bottle caps, nails, metal bits, around the yard. By way of compensation, Zach, Moose Roofing, verbally said they would give us a $300 credit, which we never got. After six months of trying to get things right, we finally gave them a “Certificate of Completion” which was dated January 27, 2023. Toward the end of the process, while we were waiting for insurance claims to be settled, I became wary of my dealings with Moose and had questions I wanted answered. The first time I asked questions, they were ignored, or the answers were non sequiturs. I do not care to repeat myself, but since I needed the answers, I was forced to ask again. I finally pried answers out of them, but I do not think I should have to work so hard to get the answers. 4/12/2024 I found a low spot in my gutters and asked Pat four times to fix this problem. So far, he has not even had the courtesy to respond to what is obviously warranty work. He will just let the warranty expire and then say I waited too long. He also said they would help with the insurance company to indemnify me for my overpayment of our out-of- pocket expenses, but that was just lip service also. Now, he will not answer my inquiry about how to get this mo

When your company name and phone number are plastered all over the side of your truck, you should probably NOT run stop signs! The disregard for others safety tells me everything i need to know about your company.

Incured storm damage in the spring that resulted in an interior leak. I contacted Moose Roofing in early August to replace roof that insurance fully covers. I was asked to sign a contract and provide $15000 payment to start the replacement which was estimated to be within a couple weeks. Nobody came and I was not able to get ahold of anyone to get it started. Instead of beginning work I was asked to alter the agreed upon contract and pay for supplemental work to which I agreed as they new I was running out of time to compete due to weather. I signed a new contract and still no work began. For weeks, I called many times and was give the runaround. Instead of fulfilling contract they sent another employee to convince me to ask my insurer for non related extra work. I obliged in hopes that they would eventually start working. It took a couple weeks for the insurer to deny the extra work because as Moose understood, it's not claim related. I asked Moose Roofing to complete project as agreed to according to our contract and they said they refused unless I agreed to pay for non-claim related work. I said I had no time (now November) to find another contractor and they said I could walk away or they'd "love to finance me," for the work I didn't need. The delays and timing certainly was geared at leveraging an eager customer to buy the snake oil. Now im stuck with a roof leaking into my children's room for the winter. This wouldn't be an issue if they didn't hold my deposit hostage and keep me under contract.

Ben, we’re truly sorry to hear about your frustration, and we understand how stressful it can be to navigate storm damage and insurance claims, especially late in the season. Our goal is always to provide safe, code-compliant work and clear communication, and we regret that your experience didn’t reflect that. After thorough inspection and multiple discussions with both you and your insurance carrier, our team identified significant underlying structural issues that would need to be addressed in order for us to install a roof safely and according to manufacturer specifications. Unfortunately, neither the insurance carrier nor you authorized the additional repairs required to complete the project correctly. Because of this, we could not move forward in good conscience. As discussed with you, performing a full roof replacement over compromised structural components would violate building standards, create major safety risks, and expose both you and Moose Roofing to future liability. Rather than move ahead with work that could fail or leave you unprotected, we made the difficult decision to terminate the contract under the “subject to manager approval” clause and issue a refund. We want to emphasize that this decision was not based on upselling or pressuring you for unrelated work. It was strictly about ensuring that any roof installed by Moose Roofing meets safety requirements, manufacturer guidelines, and local code standards. We sincerely wish the situation had unfolded differently, and we hope another contractor is able to assist you in a way that fits your expectations and budget while still ensuring the structural needs of the home are properly addressed. If you would like to discuss anything further, we welcome you to contact us directly so we can clarify anything that remains unresolved.

We had an appt for 3pm for an estimate on our house roof, garage roof, attic access to both, gutters, and siding on Sat, 8/30/2025. They were a no call, no show. I even called them 10 min after the scheduled appt time, and they confirmed I was on the schedule for that day & time and said they’d pass on my message and have someone call me back. It’s been 2 days since the appt that they never showed up for and still no call back. Now after taking the time to read the lowest reviews first for Moose Roofing, I see that I dodged a bullet not having them come out to do an estimate. And if they pull some kind of BS, it was not raining here until 2.5 hrs AFTER my scheduled appt time as I was outside waiting for them the whole time to show up. Thanks for wasting my time twice since I had to move things around to give you attic access. Do yourselves a favor if you’re looking at using any company for a service and always read the lowest reviews people take the time to post so that you are not in the same position as those posting their negative experience. I’m sure glad I didn’t sign any contracts with them now! Very unprofessional and not respectful of your time!

We contracted Moose to install new shingles, gutters, and downspouts in June 2020. The experience was positive— the installation team was punctual, communicated well, and left the area clean. However, a few years later, we noticed leaks and staining on our vaulted drywall ceilings. We contacted Moose for an inspection. Their service manager arrived on time, evaluated the roof and attic, and attributed the issues to high humidity. This explanation didn’t sit right with us, especially since it was February… The recommendation to increase ventilation and dehumidify felt inaccurate, leaving us frustrated and unsure of how to proceed. Fast forward a couple of years, and the leaks returned. Despite my hesitance to call Moose again, I decided to reach out, and I'm glad I did! This time, Anthony was assigned to our case. Before the appointment, he called to gather more information about our situation and took ownership of the issue right away. When Anthony arrived the next day, he quickly pinpointed the problem: a bad seal around one of the turtle vents at the peak of the roof, where daylight was visible from the attic. He immediately climbed onto the roof, sealed the leaky vent, and checked other areas to ensure everything was secure. This was an incredible relief! Within minutes, Anthony resolved the issue and showed exceptional craftsmanship. It was a great feeling to know the roof leak was identified and resolved, but the detail of a stained ceiling lingered. Anthony, knowing our previous experience and frustrations, combined with acknowledging the turtle vent workmanship wasn’t to the Moose standard, he agreed to take care of our ceiling issues as well. Anthony arranged for Eduardo to patch the drywall and paint the affected areas to match the rest of the ceiling. Eduardo was fantastic—he was punctual, efficient, and communicated clearly. His patchwork was impeccable, skillfully matching both the texture and color. We are EXTREMELY PLEASED with how Anthony took o

We recently found ourselves needing a roof inspection and subsequently roof replacement on not one, but two properties. We appreciated his knowledge, professionalism and expertise as we dealt with insurance and the job itself. Great company to work with.

Checked out Moose Roofing due to TV advertising and additional research discovering company ownership by veterans with many years in business. Project Manager Chris and foreman Anthony were easy to work with, detail oriented and professional. Roofing crew was efficient and hard working even though the day was in the upper 90's and very humid. A surprise gusher rain storm was taken in stride and project finished same day. Clean up was thorough and complete. Moose assisted us with securing project funding. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Moose Makes It Right When a former Moose account manager miscommunicated about our leaky roof to the team fixing the roof, the wrong repairs were made. The leak continued, causing additional damage in our attic and drywall. When I called Moose and Anthony came to check out the issue, he accurately diagnosed the cause of the leak, and he and the owners took responsibility for the previous error. Then Moose made the repairs — fixing the original leak and the additional damage — at no cost to me. Moose stood by their work until it was done right, and despite the original error, we will remember their service next time we need a full roof replacement.

Jennifer, thank you for sharing your experience and for giving us the opportunity to make it right. We’re sorry for the initial miscommunication and grateful for your patience while Anthony and our owners accurately diagnosed the leak and repaired the roof and attic damage at no cost. Taking responsibility and standing by our work is how we run our family business, and we’re glad the outcome restored your home. We appreciate your trust and look forward to helping when you’re ready for a full roof replacement.

We had them replace siding on the top part of our house, the bottom is brick. The workers came, started early and worked hard. But there was a misunderstanding that arose with the materials being used. We called a representative of the company and he got it resolved quickly and effectively. We love how our house looks now. Because of the quick action we received when we needed assistance that shows the great character of this company to truly serve the customer. They were always accessible and in contact with us. We would definitely recommend this company to do any repair or replacement jobs that a person needed to be done. Melba and Joseph Leykam
