I have used this company before and now I’m being told they can’t even come out to look at a possible leak?! They said to checked back periodically to see if they can accommodate me!? Horrible follow through for an existing customer!

We had Connor out to inspect our roofs and provide us with an estimate. Over a month has passed and he will not pick up my calls or respond to my texts (can see that he has read them). No quote has been provided and no explanation, just being ignored. Completely unprofessional and wasted our time. Will never call this company again for help.

I don't know how the actual roofs are because I couldn't even get the guy to show up for the initial inspection. The 3rd time he rescheduled he said he would be here at 5:15. Texted at 5:17 and said he would be a couple minutes late. …

We called this company for an estimate on our garage roof. They were over 1/2 hour late and since noone was home they did the estimate from outside the fenced in yard.

Requested this business to perform a roofing estimate on my elderly parents home. Salgau roofing performed the estimate. In the estimate they wanted all the money upfront $8700. I was giving the company the benefit of doubt and ask for clarification thinking this was a mistake. Nicolai communicated that they want all money upfront for work performed in the area that my parents live due to past experiences of being scammed. He said he had to pay lawyers and fees to recoup his money. I ask him how am i to know that you will finish the job as contracted and he said the company has been around for thirty years with a good reputation. As many people know that means nothing when paying for this type of work to be performed. I was appalled!!!!!!! I am an advocate for the elderly and Nicolai confirmed to me that Salgau roofing is not a trusted business for the elderly. Overall this company have discrminatory practices whereby not all customers are treated the same. Customers on the Northside of Toledo (where this estimate was performed) have to pay all monies upfront before any work starts leaving themselves vulnerable when other area customers do not have to pay all monies upfront. Needless to say i am not selecting this business.

I am shocked that I saw them working on a property I considered buying. A deciding factor was the roof that Nicolas told me he couldnt touch until well into 2023. THEY ARE WORKING ON IT NOW!!!! Only months after sayning that. I guess someone had an agenda. VERY BAD BUSINESS. I'm considering calling my attorney.

Salgau did our roof in 2022, and it still looks great and held up flawlessly through all the storms we've had since then. They used a drone to inspect all sections of the roof, measured everything and gave us a well-written and documented report of the existing problems. We signed but couldn't have work done for a little while, they were very accommodating. When we finally nailed down a window, they had a team here right on time who did the whole job in a few days, including chimney repair and some last-minute above-and-beyond custom plumbing work to improve an existing vent. The crew cleaned up thoroughly when they were done. The price wasn't the cheapest but I wasn't looking to skimp on something as important as the roof, and we were *very* satisfied with the value of what we got for that price. We had a great experience with Salgau, I was actually surprised to see that I didn't leave a review back then. But now I can say it's been a few years and the roof is still like new, so that's helpful. TL;DR - highly recommend!

I can't say enough good things about Salgau Roofing and Corey Keller. Appointments were on time and Corey even got my roof replacement moved up since I had active leaks. The crew was very respectful and got the job done in less than 5 hours on one of the hottest days of the year! Highly recommended 💯 …

The sales manager, Corey, took the time to educate and explain everything to me. There was no hard pressure or sales pitch. I definitely recommend getting a fair and affordable quote from this roofer before making a final decision on your home improvement project.

Salgau Roofing recently replaced the house and garage roofs that my father installed for me nearly 30 years ago. I trust Nicolai Salgau and his team to provide the same quality of workmanship that my father gave. Working with Connor throughout the process was wonderful ( from the estimate to product warranty registration). He is professional and thoughtful, ensuring no nails were left behind. Thank you so much! I highly recommend Salgau Roofing.

Salgau Roofing replaced my roof following wind damage sustained last spring. Materials used included fiberglas shingles, rubber membrane and copper flashing on the gables and chimney. The large team was very efficient and completed the job in a day and a half and were thorough in cleaning up the debris. Both Nicolai Salgau, the owner and Corey Keller, vice president of sales came several times to check on the job. Homeowners have many options for roofing companies in the Toledo market. I recommend Salgau for their professionalism, timeliness and reasonable pricing.

Highly recommend! Corey our salesman is on his game. Very responsive and knowledgeable. The hardest thing I had to do throughout the process was pick the color of the roof. They make it very easy. They were right on time with the scheduling. They showed up with a huge crew and got the whole job done in about 7 hours, 1700 sq ft ranch and large detached garage. Tear off of old and installation of new. No mess afterwards, no nails or debris. Call Salgau Roofing!

I wholeheartedly recommend this company, as they exhibited a high level of diligence and thoroughly delivered an outstanding performance. Their politeness and willingness to assist were impressive. They promptly attended to my storm damage repair needs, which another company had previously botched.
