  Update: We ended up paying them what was owed on March 8 - it took them from then until April 29th, to release the lien from our house and this was only AFTER I reported them to the BBB. I was also never given documentation that we were paid up, until then, either. . . . . . . Terrible communication and customer service. The only reason they're getting 2 stars is because their roofers did a good job with the installation. Everything else was awful. We had final payment and let them know and no one came to pick it up, and our point of contact basically ghosted us. So we ended up getting a hold of someone at the main office and just as we were working out the final payment, we get a notice in the mail that they put a lien on our house. GREAT communication, guys! No one reached out to us before this and no one got back in touch with us about the payment. On top of that, it had been so long that the final payment from our insurance lapsed so we had to get it re-issued and wait 2 more weeks for that. Only THEN did someone from this company start reaching out to us about when they could come pick up the final payment. What a headache and a nightmare. So glad to be done doing business with them.

  We contacted Safe & Sound roofing because they are local to us and are veteran owned, supposedly. Cindi Quick came out on 8/10/2023 to give us a written estimate to vent our bathroom fans out of our attic. She was quite a talker, and very nice. A very good salesperson. We were talked into getting a solar attic fan in addition to the bathroom fans. We needed some drywall replaced on our bathroom ceilings to remove surface mold. Cindi quoted an 18”x 18” section despite being told numerous times that the drywall dimensions were incorrect, and we wanted a larger section replaced. She repeatedly assured us that they know this and that they always OVER quote their bids to cover extra costs. We accepted the bid and signed a contract with them and then were told we needed to pay a $750 deposit and that our check had to clear before they would even get us on their schedule. Our check cashed on 8/21/2023 but didn’t get on their schedule until 9/12/2023. Cindi called me on 9/6/2023 to tell me that they didn’t have the Attic Breeze 25w fan we agreed on that had a rebate and lifetime warranty, but that they could get us a Kennedy 35w fan with a limited warranty. Ernesto would be able to pick this up the following day, so we reluctantly agreed on that. Ernesto came out to our home, finally on 9/12/23 around 9am. He was unaware of any drywall replacement and advised he needed to see what supplies he would require. He then left our home to go to the supply store. Shortly after he left, Cheyenne called us telling us that they needed us to sign an additional work order of $500 for the added drywall in excess of 18”x18”. Despite us repeatedly telling Cindi this both verbally and in writing that her quoted drywall size was wrong and her assuring us it was ok. We complained to the office, and they advised they would speak with the owner. The owner told them to tell us they would make no concessions for their misquote and that if they wanted us to do the work we had to pay! Wow. Ernesto

  Our roof repair has been pushed back about 5 times. Once we signed an agreement the communication has practically been non-existent. We initially were told our project was a one day project. We are on week 2 now. We have to reach out most times to get answers. Our roof was scheduled to be finished today (after being pushed back multiple times previously), of course just received word it won't be done today. Crew also left tons of nails in our yard. I went out and checked because we have dogs and glad I did. Not happy with company. *Update* We had our inspection already and have been waiting. **Update** 4/13/2023 The crew came out and repaired the rest of the work. Sales associate, Cindi, came to oversee work and personally checked for any loose nails around yard. She also brought a basket with treats for our dogs and a gift card for my fiancé and I to use. She apologized about how things played out with us and offered the basket. The work is complete. ***Update*** (8/21/2023) Just discovered that the company never contacted the city to close out the permit for the roof. We are under contract to sell our house and now it cannot be done until that goes through. Something that should have been done 4 months ago.

  Used them once and had to ask multiple times for an estimate. Once I received it we moved forward. HOWEVER, follow up was lacking. I called them for a second roof estimate and was given the run around AGAIN. Derek Santiago advised that it is best to go through the insurance company, I told him to PLEASE send me an estimate and then we would move forward. He said it would take a week, still not sure why considering NEXT DImension and Batterbee roofing were on top of it. I unfortunately will not be able to use them. My owner was very upset and felt I dropped the ball.
