  Had a vent pipe collar replaced. Negative: I found that Ruff Roofers' billing practices were questionable at best. The hours of work billed were three times the actual number of hours worked (I was present when they did work). Further, they priced materials (roofing tiles) at five times the cost of what it cost me to buy the same product, still they insisted I had to use their materials. Positive: they came out quickly when I called for roof repair.

  This company told me I needed woodwork and a few new sheets of new shingles and it all would be very involved. Made me sign a misleading contract and an even more misleading document after my “repair” was done that locked me into the quoted price of the original idea of repairs. Turned out the flippers who sold me my house forgot to put two 5$ boots around my sewage exhaust pipes. That’s all they did. $1200 is what they are demanding. This is how you treat your single income military family costumers and refuse to budge or communicate any alternatives. Disgraceful.

  This morning on my way to work a Ruff Roofer pickup truck driving down 495 towards northern Virginia near the 270 split was behind me riding dangerously close. I mean, so close that I could only see headlights in the back window, within 24-36 inches of my vehicle I am in a government vehicle that is monitored by gps and can’t go any faster than 5 over the posted speed limits. He then proceeded to turn his high-beams on, in an attempt to get me to speed up I presume. Which did nothing but blind me and forced me to drive slower as I could not see the roads, since it was around 5:45am and still dark. He followed like that for about 3 minutes and then finally zoomed from behind me, almost clipping my rear. I tried calling the number on the back of the truck with the the sticker number 032VL, but they no longer service this company… probably due to too many aggressive drivers. I was recently looking at using this company on my home in Baltimore for a roof replacement, but after this encounter, I couldn’t in good conscience use them. Please talk to your workers and get them to slow down and drive a little less aggressively. Injuring or killing someone on the road can’t be good for business…

  These guys drive unnecessarily aggressively on the roads. Tailgating people who aren't in the left lane. Do better.

  Trash roof didn't last as long as contract specified. Customer service was disappointing, and service techs need more training in customer service. I will never do business with or recommend to anyone ever. Consider this 1 star a zero from me.

  Well where to start.. On Wednesday 5-29-2019 I was driving down 695 when a piece of plywood flew out the back of truck number 65 of ruff roofers and hit the front of my truck. I proceeded and stopped the driver, the driver asked how far back the plywood had come out of the truck and I told him he proceeded to call his foreman and then take pictures of my truck where the wood had hit and of the pieces of wood in the grill and surrounding areas. I then talked to Allison in the office and the supervisor Tim which came out and took pictures of my truck and he said he would call and report it to the insurance and insisted it would be taken care when I asked for something In Writing he told me you know where to find us. Today I get a call from the insurance company and they are denying the claim because they told the insurance company that there was no wood in the truck. If there was no wood in the truck why did your driver ask how far back the wood came out and how did all the wood end up in my grill which there is pictures of. Also pictures of your driver on the top of the truck before leaving the scene making sure everything is covered so nothing else blows out. This is my experience with ruff roofers

  Reasonable price, meticulous work, professional staff, and a fabulous roof. Rob very professional and super to work with. He patiently answered all of my questions in a timely fashion. The field supervisor, Scott was awesome and kept us informed at every stage. The crew was professional and polite, and after they cleaned everything up, there was no hint of the work or debris during the project. They may not be the cheapest or the most expensive, but in my book they are THE best.

  I couldn’t be happier with my new roof. From start to finish, the entire process was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Working with Matt, Ryan and Jorge was incredible, they were all very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave me a lot of confidence in the work they would do. Scott and his team showed up on time, worked efficiently, and paid close attention to every detail. They kept the work area clean throughout the project and made sure everything was spotless before they left. Scott took the time to walk me through each part of the project that was being done, and made sure my family was safe coming and leaving from the house during the project. Ruff Roofers exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend them to anyone considering roof work.
