My first contact with Jeremy was when a water leak appeared caused by an ice dam on the roof. He came immediately after I called and did a repair. At that time he didn't think the roof would qualify for replacement, so he suggested that I wait. Unlike another roofing company who tried to rush me into getting a new roof knowing the insurance was not going to approve it. A year later a major water leak in the roof causing water damage inside the house.I called Jeremy and he came immediately and found where the leak was and did a temporary fix. He said that the roof was worse than it was the last time he was on it and suggested I start the claim process for a new roof as well as the inside damage. Jeremy and his assistant, Danny, have helped me with this entire process from starting the claim to completion of the new roof and the other damage repairs. They will go above and beyond to get your job done right. Highly Recommend!!

Jeremy was easy to talk with, did not "talk down" to me, and answered all my questions. There were damages that were not visible, but after showing me, I was satisfied that these needed to be addressed as well. The crew worked well, being careful of the rest of my property. Totally satisfied!

Called Roof'd because of 5-star rating for need of roof repair. Quick communication with Seth, throughout the experience, was easy. He did the inspection, explained needs, and helped file claim with insurance and was here to meet them for the inspection and claim check. In every area of roof repair Seth was here to make sure all went well. The end result was OUTSTANDING! Great job Seth, and all crew members. Would recommend them highly.

Jeremy was great to work with. We weren't quite ready to replace our entire roof, just needed some repair work done. Jeremy and his crew did a great job and pointed out some other areas to consider repairing in the future, but didn't put any pressure on us. I will definitely use them again for future roof needs.

Plastic Vents vs. Metal Vents — Which One Is On Your Roof? Not all roof vents are created equal — and the material they're made from matters more than most homeowners realize. Proper attic ventilation is essential to extend the life of your roof, control moisture, and keep energy costs down. But if you have the wrong type of vent up there, it could be costing you. 🪣 PLASTIC VENTS ⚠️ Lower upfront cost ⚠️ Crack & warp in heat ⚠️ Brittle in cold climates ⚠️ Fade & degrade in UV ⚠️ Shorter lifespan overall ⚠️ More prone to pest entry 🔩 METAL VENTS · Built to last decades · Holds up in extreme heat · Won't crack in cold · Resists UV & weather · Stronger pest barrier · Better long-term value Plastic vents are common because they're cheap and easy to install — but in climates with hot summers and cold winters, they tend to crack, warp, and fail far sooner than their metal counterparts. Once a vent cracks, it's an open door for water, pests, and outside air to enter your attic. Metal vents — typically aluminum or galvanized steel — are far more durable and maintain their seal over time. Yes, they cost a bit more upfront, but they rarely need to be replaced and hold up far better through seasonal temperature swings. 💡 Our recommendation: If your home still has plastic pipe vents or turtle vents, it's worth having them inspected. Replacing failing plastic vents with metal is one of the most cost-effective upgrades you can make to protect your roof.Apr 9, 2026
