Found an advertisement for Renoteck Home Solutions/Renoteck Roofing Services in the local coupon book in Edmonton. Called made an appointment, Senior VP of Sales came to do the estimate. Talked about the different products they offered and finally decided on the Aged Copper, G90 Steel Shingles. Took 2 days to strip the old shingles on the house and garage and install the new G90 Steel Shingles. They hadn’t even cleaned up the site and the job foreman was at the door asking for the money. I paid them and they left (this was on a Sunday afternoon), at the time I mentioned that the snow guards were not the ones I was shown at the time of the estimate. The ones they placed on the house and garage were smoke plastic the sample I was shown was decorative aged copper metal (the job foreman only wanted to put on 14, I had to show him the contract that stated 17 were included). The job foreman said the smoke plastic looks good and that’s what they use. They do not match the colour of the roof and are not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. I was told by a gentleman from the Calgary office that they would have to cut holes in the brand new roof to place the metal decorative snow guards. There was a haze on both the house and garage in spots, I was told this was just dust, it may be, but it keeps appearing and again in not aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Some caps on the garage were not attached properly, thus showing gaps. Someone did come when I was not home and try to fix this, they pulled up some of the caps and re-bent them into place ending up scratching the steel shingles. They said they could come back and paint the spots they scratched. I could not check the roof of the house as it is a raised bungalow, but was told don’t worry its guaranteed not to leak and no one can see up there. The steel shingles are in sheets approximately 12” x 48”, not all of them are lined up properly so there are a few wavy lines as you look up the roof line, again not aesthetically p

We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Renoteck and our new permanent metal roof! From the very beginning, the service was exceptional. Neil, our company representative, drove about 2 hours on a Sunday in mid-April just to come to our acreage, look at our home, and provide us with an estimate. He brought samples, took the time to explain the product, its benefits, and answer all of our questions. At no point did we ever feel pressured to sign a contract. Neil was a true gentleman—friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly easy to talk to. In June, a crew of four came out to complete the installation. Considering we are approximately 4–4.5 hours from Calgary and Renoteck’s headquarters, we were very impressed with their commitment to getting the job done. They arrived around midday on the first day and had the entire roof completed by the end of the second day! The installation crew was fantastic. Everyone was friendly, professional, and always happy to answer any questions we had. They did an amazing job, and the finished roof looks absolutely incredible. We love knowing that we now have a beautiful permanent metal roof backed by a 50-year guarantee. The final result exceeded our expectations, and we do not regret for one moment choosing a permanent metal roof or choosing Renoteck to install it. We would 100% recommend Neil and the entire Renoteck team to anyone considering a new roof. Excellent service from beginning to end, beautiful workmanship, and a final product we absolutely love. Five stars without hesitation! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Renotech replaced our old shingles with a beautiful metal roof last summer (2024) and I couldn't be happier with their product and service. The team worked really hard even through VERY hot weather and any questions or concerns we had were answered quickly through Facebook Messenger. They truly listened and responded to every concern - very refreshing! When the roof was done we found one very tricky spot under an awning that didn't work well and they returned several times to make changes until we were happy with it. It did take a while to get that spot completed to satisfaction, but that wasn't a huge deal as the rest of our roof was complete and it was their busy season. They also did a good job of cleaning up when they were done. After enjoying our beautiful new roof for almost a year, I highly recommend this company and their metal roof. It looks SO good!

We just replaced a 34 year old cedar shake roof which was at end of life which had served us well but was now deemed to be a fire hazard in Canmore. We researched some of Renoteck’s previous work in various parts of Alberta and concluded that their product and workmanship would meet our needs. Mike O’Connor was the sales representative and he helped us select and cost out an attractive and durable roof. I was particularly impressed with the skilled Forman named Vlad and his crew which was in charge of the project. He capped it off with drone footage showing a quality finished product. We were challenged by variable weather but Renoteck got the job done and we are very satisfied. July 2026 Ken Hayes Canmore Alberta

Very happy with our experience with Renoteck. We had a metal roof installed at our cottage in a remote location and they were very easy to deal with. Met with them both at location and in downtown Calgary. Contacts were responsive and the install team was professional and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend.
