Roofing I give 5 Stars. Siding I would give 0 if I could. Didn’t replace the WRB under the siding. They also damaged the new shingles. Put a hole in my trim. Fixed with only silicone. I complained to many people about it, and never heard back. I would never use them again. I told friends and neighbours to not use them.

Thank you for your feedback. While we appreciate your positive comments about the roofing work, we are very sorry to hear about your experience with the siding portion of the project and the concerns you raised about workmanship, damage, and communication. This is not the standard we aim to provide, and we would welcome the opportunity to review your concerns and work toward a resolution. Probably won't use them again. The front desk is great, but gives a false sense of communication and security. The actual project managers are too busy to get back to you and all the front desk does is keep passing your message along. During the process, I had to call the PM directly several times AND email. The roofing crew, their own crew, was actually excellent. They were quick, cleaned up very well after themselves (was super impressed) they even laid a tarp down. However, it all went downhill after they had subcontracted their work out to a company called Nordika project. The subs destroyed my neighbours fence with out permission (and continuously lied about it), left trash and nails everywhere, left all their items on my neighbours property when I had set expectations with them before to keep everything clean. The subs also dragged their feet to restore the damaged fence and pieces back to its original state (had to push Epic to fix it with their own contractor). Even after telling Epic that I want to fire them, they continued to get them to come out. It wasn't until I told them that if the subs ever step foot on my property, the police would be called, did they finally agree that their own contractors would finish the work, and then they STILL SENT THEM OUT AGAIN. So they lied to me too. I saw in another review complaining about them that they were told epic wouldn't be using them again. Well, last week I saw them pull up to another house Epic was doing hail damage repairs for, so I wanted to warn people that they are still subbing them out. The fact that epic is continuing to use them ensures I will never use Epic again. P.S the front boards the subs replaced already has paint peeling less than a year since repairs, and questions I had asked EPIC about a wavy roof in the winter he's been left unanswered still.

Our neighbor had there siding, evestrough and roof replaced. 1 There siding installers had there aircompressor plugged into our house stealing power. 2 They left one heck of a mess when they were finished, siding, nails and staples all over our driveway. 3 The roofers were throwing shingles off the roof damaged our siding, landing on our varanda roof, floor and broke the lattes around or varanda. 4 The evestrough company had there latter's in our yard and we have locked gates, when they were finished replacing there evestrough it was piled up besides our house. I guess they thought that we should dispose of it. Absolutely the worst company to deal with. I picked up 5 sandwiche bags of nails off our property alone after there crews left. There was siding from there house left in our yard for us to dispose of.

Hi Ron, thank you for bringing this forward. We take concerns like this seriously, however as a neighboring property owner and not the customer on file, we’re unable to confirm which project this review relates to based on the information provided here. To investigate properly, please email customerservice@epicroofing.ca with the property address connected to the work and the approximate dates involved. I am completely appalled at the absence of client care, lack of professionalism and the level at which our file has been mishandled while working with Epic. The initial crew Epic hired to start one of our projects was awful - completely disrespectful on our property, left work uncompleted and completed work with deficiencies, and also made new damages to our property resulting in additional repairs required. Our project manager was impossible to reach by phone or email. We went weeks and even months waiting to receive communication. During that time we were also unable to reach any administrator by phone or email. Voicemails were never returned. After the last incident we waited over a month to hear from our project manager, only to finally find out he had been fired. Yet no one had followed up with his clients. We had hope when we got assigned a new project manager but the issues remained much the same - lack of consistent communication, absence of client care, and empty promises with no follow through. Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a company, and never again would I choose to work with Epic.

I have had two projects done with this company. One project was done decently well and communication was decent. My other project on the other hand communication was lackluster from the project manager. Your internal staff weren’t even able to get a hold of him, thus how would a customer be able to get any updates. My house was damaged by the roofers. No communication for weeks to almost a month on what they will do to repair. Along with that, site was left with multiple nails which I had to pick up myself. Plants destroyed and puncture in the car tires because of the nails. I would not recommend this company.

We selected Epic to complete full repairs to our home, including all exterior scopes of work, following hailstorm damage, based on the reviews available at the time and the recommendation of our insurance provider. While there were positive aspects to the experience, the project was ultimately affected by significant operational shortcomings. On the positive side, Epic’s front-line office staff maintained consistent and good communication throughout the process, and the estimating team demonstrated knowledge, experience, and professionalism during the planning stages. However, the overall quality of execution was negatively impacted by the subcontractors assigned to our project. Epic’s heavy reliance on third party subcontractors for roofing, siding, and eavestrough work, combined with insufficient oversight, resulted in workmanship and finishing quality that did not meet acceptable standards. Multiple deficiencies were identified across various scopes of work, leading to repeated follow-ups, extended timelines, and the need for after service repairs. These issues caused unnecessary delays and considerable stress. Based on my extensive professional experience in the construction industry, effective subcontractor evaluation, qualification, and oversight are critical to delivering any projects with minimal deficiencies. This level of due diligence was not evident in our case. For example, during one site discussion, a subcontractor superintendent indicated they had less than 4 years of siding experience, an experience level that did not align with the complexity or finishing quality expectations of this project. In addition, the project was impacted by repeated material ordering errors. On several occasions, materials delivered to the site did not align with the agreed-upon colours, specifications, or approved scopes of work. These discrepancies required ongoing monitoring and intervention on our part to prevent the installation of non-approved materials. If we h

We used Epic Roofing for our hailstorm insurance claim and I will give the company more or less full marks in the beginning for communication, but that is where it ends. When we found out our insurance company recommended and used Epic Roofing, we immediately researched the company and was liking what we saw from reviews. Now for the part of the review I need to share because it was not a great experience for us. Epic was only the general contractor and thus they used all sub contractors for the entire job, BUT regardless of blaming the sub contractors this was Epic's responsibility. We will recognize the contractors that did great work ( siding, flashing, painters); the problem was the roofing and gutter sub contractors. The roofers were not very professional, and worked only on their schedule, which meant, there were on my roof before 7am but leave by noon or so. The house roof is not overly large, but if memory serves me it took 5 or 6 days to complete based on their work schedule. The mess after the job was not well looked after, firstly the cigarette butts strewn around the property, shingle pieces, plastic pieces, not cleaned and we found shingles in our tree in the front, and let's not forget nails everywhere and not picked up. We understand that some may be missed, but what we found was clearly a lack of care. The gutters were completed while we were out of town, and we did not have a complaint about there overall work BUT again it was the lack of care by them. The gutter contractor took apart our fence in the alley for what we believe is,they could have access to our yard, but we have a side opening in our fence they could use ( we did not understand) and they did not repair the fence when their job was completed. Additionally, the gutter contractor broke a substantial branch ( approx. 6 inches in circumference) on our front tree and just left it on the side of our house, they also used our white painted rod iron front entrance handrail as a bench to cut m

I would highly recommend 'Epic Roofing and Exteriors' to anyone who needs work done on the outside of their house. The workers are very good at their jobs and work very well together. Even when we did have a slight hiccup, as our porch light was not working after a job had been done, we simply called them and they came and fixed it free of charge. They do very good work and are very efficient and helpful. I would certainly use them again!
