  Horrible communication. They set up multiple visits and didn't show up. When you follow up the office lady has no idea about what's going on and says she'll follow and doesnt. Go with truth roofing or ez roofing for any roofing needs.

  Do not use this company. My negative experience was with Rocco. I decided to go with this company after hurricane Helene. They gave me a quote initially to repair the soffit and fascia, replace a few broken shingles, and fix a leak located around a pipe boot. They gave me a quote initially and then when i finally decided on them their quote ended up being hundreds higher. They cited that higher prices and demand had driven prices up. I said ok, we signed the paperwork and I waited. I called. I waited. I texted. I waited. Finally someone got ahold of me and told me the work had already been done on my home 2 weeks prior. No scheduling. No verification. No sign off. I was not home during this job at all. There were items from the job incomplete. There were still shingles missing and guess what the roof was still leaking. Rocco said that we would have to do a more extensive repair that was not covered in the original bid. We said we would try to get more money from insurance to cover the additional repairs. Rocco stated he would work with the insurance company as he had experience working with insurance companies on the regular. Eventually after calling my insurance company it seemed he had never contacted my insurance. I thought he might be a busy man so I set up a meeting with all 3 of us. Rocco did not join the meeting at the agreed upon time and therefore missed the meeting. My father-in-law who had done roofing before was visiting from across the country and got up on the roof. Stated that it looked like a shoddy job if completed honestly at all. I asked Rocco for all records of my job any paperwork, internal communications, and photos and videos that he said he had from the men doing the job. Rocco said yes and has now ghosted me. I still have a missing shingle and a leak, over a year after the hurricane now. There was no offer to tarp the roof, no customer service, dodging calls, shifting blame, poor business practices, and shifty attitudes. Do not use R.

  Requested a quote for a roof repair. They confirmed an appointment for a three hour appointment window in the middle of the business day. I called a total of 5 times to request an ETA and was only able to reach a representative once. The technician never showed up to give me a quote.

  We entrusted R. L. Hayes to provide roof services to our home in July 2021. We experienced a leak and it was never properly prepared. Now, we have wood damage due to this leak. This is our home that we placed in their hands for protection and instead we have even more damage. As of March 2025, we were told the owner sold the business and shared the contract information with the current owner. We have been denied help, denied returned phone calls, and denied email responses. Very disappointed with paying for services that are not being followed through. Our advice, shop elsewhere for trusted roof service.

  RUN THE OTHER WAY! Paid a deposit of the more than elevated fee, chose the color, and signed the work agreement. 2/24/25. -Shingles delivered were wrong color, it was corrected. Roofers worked into the dark. The siding around the dormers was old and would be damaged coming off, this was discussed in advance. Blake, (owner) said that it would be taken care of. The crew tried to put the broken siding back on until my husband stopped them. More delays. 3/13/25-Trying to get R.L.Hayes out to finish the job for 2 weeks. Communication has come to a standstill. Completed one. 3/14/25- Completed other. Went out to look at the front of the house and noticed the mess over both of the front windows where the bit of roof comes over the windows. They spray painted silver flashing black, drips and all, spray paint on the white vinyl, huge gaps in the flashing. We also learned that the crew had cut into the brick instead of the mortar line leaving us no other choice but to accept the incredibly wide flashing across the top. 3/15/25- The flashing mess was re-worked. It still looks terrible. 3/16/25- It rained. We discovered leaking by the skylights and leaking into the ceiling where the dormers are. My husband had to poke a hole in the ceiling to ensure that the water didn’t travel anywhere else. Every time it rained, my husband went up into the attic to see where the leak was. 3/17/25- Meet at the office of R.L.Hayes to speak with Blake about the leaking problems. Rocco was present. We were met with a defensive stance by Blake- agitated that we were complaining about the NEW roof his company installed leaking. Blake back-peddled on covering the siding replacement around the dormers. Claiming that siding wasn’t a part of the agreement. We took your word- now it is clear that it doesn’t mean much. 3/19/25-A crew came out- 12:30pm, sat under a tree for an hour and then left. I called, asked what was up with that? A crew came out around 4pm and worked into the night finishing arou

  Long time Customer with many rental properties. I made an appointment on Oct 24th after Hurricane Helene damaged 6 roofs. Our appointment was set for Dec 9th. I sent the requested information by email to them right away!(addresses, scope of work & ins. Adjuster report) A week before my appointment I was told they couldn't repair or even look at my metal roofs but COULD help with the shingles roofs the afternoon of Dec 9th. When I called the morning of the appointment I was told they didn't have us on the schedule and they COULDN'T HELP US AT ALL!!! They have our tenants waiting 6 weeks when I could have called other companies. They care NOTHING about their loyal customers or anyone else's issues. The owners had the poor "new girl" call to tell us this bad news! I have a long email train of promises unkept!! I will NEVER use them again and will always tell everyone I know not to use their services!!!

  My roof was replaced on December 13, 2024. Tear off and installation of the new roof was all done in one day. However clearn up after the job leaves a lot to be desired. Today is February 3, 2025 and I'm still finding bits of roofing materials including nails in my yard/flower beds, sidewalk, and driveway. Additionally my gutter guards were damaged in multiple places.

  Hello Ron, I was unaware there was still debris left in the yard! Let me get someone out this week to run the magnet rake for nails and to pick up anything that was left out. I sincerely apologize that your yard wasn't left in the appropriate condition! That isn't our standard and we will rectify this for you ASAP. As for the gutter guards please send the office some photos so we can look into that process as well! Thank you for bringing this to our attention! Edited to add - I see the photos and I have sent the over to repairs to see what our next steps are!

  Quick to respond and complete repairs requested...only thing lacking was communication ..Dean stated he would contact me prior to starting and had agreed to use materials I had already purchased ...none of my request honored and next time I heard from him was an invoice being presented ...he then agreed to follow up...never heard from him....now I have a home needing full roof replacement and have to search for another company..ugh...used them again and they did excellent job this time so I am changing rating

  I, unfortunately, paid R.L. Hayes Roofing & Repairs before the work was completed. So my roof is incomplete And after 21 attempts to contact and more than a month trying to reach them, I am at wits end.

  Simply the best customer service in the CSRA Area. No waiting weeks to get put on a schedule. They checked the issue on Friday and had a crew there on Monday. The work was very professional and the results excellent. I recommend them for all your roofing needs. Additionally, the cost was super reasonable compared to others in this area.

  The team worked quickly. Within 8 hours are roof was completed done. They clean everything up before they leave. The only thing that is negative is they drop the heavy items on the roof, and it shakes everything a lot inside my home.

  I used RL Hayes back in 2017 to repair a small leak in one corner of the roof. I was very pleased with their work and their customer relations, so when we had a leak in a different part of the roof in 2024, I naturally chose them. I was not disappointed! They provided the same prompt, professional repair and the same friendly service. To them, I am a person, not a job, and that's very refreshing!
