  Hello Mr. Guemrirene, As we discussed with you on the phone, we are sorry about the situation that arose during the 2015 work. We couldn't have known that your roof deck was dry/needed replacing before removing the shingles, nor about the lack of insulation. We noticed it the morning of the work and, with your permission, we proceeded with the replacement. (You were under no obligation and could have refused without any problem. We suggested this work to ensure compliance with standards.) We work to ensure your roof is sound and in perfect condition when we leave. We understand that this work can be expensive and we are truly sorry we didn't discover it sooner. The speed of our trucks is one of our strengths, allowing us to avoid making our roofers wait on site. Furthermore, your residence is located very close to our offices.   Hello Ms. Julie Coté, We strive to make every customer experience pleasant, and we are truly sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations this time. You contacted us on the morning of December 24, 2022, because you had lost a large quantity of shingles. I managed to find you an emergency team on the morning of December 26, 2022, to temporarily repair your roof. I did my best to have teams available during the holidays; obviously, my roofers were paid double time over Christmas. That's why the rate was $800.00. This amount included: 3 roofers, the repair (sealing your roof, which had been blown away by the wind), and snow removal from a certain section. The balance covers our overhead costs, such as: the roofers' insurance, CNESST (Quebec's workplace health and safety commission), equipment (ladder, tools, etc.), administration, and transportation (gasoline, truck, etc.). I apologize that you received the invoice 8 days later. I was overwhelmed with numerous service calls during the holidays. Regarding the leak, we were never informed. Obviously, the work we did is temporary since your entire roof needs to be replaced. I did my best to serve you well, and I apologize for any misunderstandings; this was not our intention. Genevieve

  Hello Mr. Camara, As we discussed, we never refuse a contract because it isn't profitable enough, as indicated in your review. We simply didn't have availability in September 2022 to do this type of work. We have many contracts signed since spring 2022, so we prioritize our existing clients before taking on those who call in September to start work immediately.   Their representative told me they needed to add another layer of wood. So I had to pay $3311.28 more than the estimate. And in the end, I have to replace my gutters because they're now ineffective. The initial quote was $711. The final bill came to $8634.62 plus the cost of the gutters. It's impossible to reach an agreement with the landlord for compensation.

The fact that the water is draining poorly from your gutters is not our responsibility but rather the age and height of your gutters.   We contacted Pro-tec-toit for roof repairs (water infiltration at the chimney). We are very satisfied with the service we received. First, a friendly gentleman came to provide a quote for the repairs. Unlike other companies, he took the time to go up onto the roof and also into the attic to properly assess what repairs were needed. The quote was quite reasonable. Then, two employees came to carry out the repairs. They did a very good job and everything was completed quickly. We recommend Pro-tec-toit for your roof repairs!
