Not really sure I trust the safety of a company on my roof when they don't even know how to properly/safely park a car. Makes me wonder what kind of shortcuts or other rules. They would shrug off when working on my roof. I don't think I can trust a crew that can't do something as simple as park a car within 6 inches of the curb. This person's back end was almost halfway out into the street. Actually watched from my window as the woman across the street had trouble backing out of her driveway because of where his vehicle was. If it had been properly parked against the curb it wouldn't have been an issue for her. Clearly this company doesn't care about rules and safety.

Dear PC, we have received your kind review and we will take your concerns and suggestions into account. We agree with you that parking correctly is a safety issue, however we do not consider that we have put anyone at risk or that we have been violating any laws. We will take into account in the future that there may always be someone looking to make a contribution to the community with their constructive criticism, always willing, as seen in most of your reviews, to give their honest opinion even when they have not had the opportunity to meet anyone. the company or the quality service it provides. Thank you for your concern, for your peace of mind I must tell you that we always work paying due care. Best Regards.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, SCAMMERS, I will be reporting them. I called a couple of days ago to get a quote on getting the antenna removed on the roof, they said they will show up between 4p-7p. I asked if it’s okay for someone to show up between 6p-7p and and someone will be home. The answer was “yes I will tell them”. Then around 11:30am they called and said they were going over. The quote they gave me for taking down the antenna, disposing it was $200 cash and $250 other payments. Since no one was home to pay them cash I asked if we can reschedule, the lady on the phone told me “yes we can come back this weekend” Then I called this morning to schedule for them to come out, then I was told “that offer was for that moment, since we have to come out again it will be $400 cash” This is the MOST RIDICULOUS company EVER. Google management: please contact me for any questions or concerns, please do not remove my review, this company is not truthful.

We recently had our aging roof replaced by Pittsabana. We received many quotes for our roof replacement, and Ivan offered the best value. He was also very flexible when we asked to remove rather than repoint the chimney. Ivan and his wife Maria were helpful and responsive during the entire process. We were scheduled within a week. The crew arrived at 7AM on the scheduled day and was able to replace the roof and repaint the box gutters by around 7PM. They worked hard and did an amazing job.

As a first-time homebuyer here in Beechview, I didn't know much about roof maintenance, but Ivan and Maria of Pittsabana were incredibly patient. They explained everything clearly and recommended repairs that fit perfectly into my budget. The team was so kind, flexible, and fast! They finished the job quickly and left everything completely clean afterward, even though it was raining. If you are looking for an honest, professional, and truly local roofing service in the Pittsburgh area, I highly recommend them!

I very enjoyed working with Pittsabana Roofing. My Wife and I are retired, and were hoping for a stress-free project. That is what we received. This is a Woman-owned business. Her name is Maria, and her Husband Ivan is the foreman and runs the jobs. After speaking with them both, Maria about the contract and Ivan about the roof work, I immediately felt that I could trust them, and that proved to be true. After receiving their proposal, we authorized the work right away. They have a robust crew, and there were some women amongst them. There is always some hidden damage when very old roofs are demolished, but ours was minimal, with one exception. There is a small front porch with a roof. ALL of the wood studs and sheeting was so deteriorated, I’m surprised it didn’t fall down. Ivan and his crew rebuilt it all and it looks better than it ever did. Ivan did it in such a way that the cheap and ugly fake pillars were no longer needed. We HIGHLY recommend Pittsabana Roofing. In my career I managed contractors for hospitals and universities. Pittsabana roofing is up there with the best I’ve seen. Do yourself a favor and give Maria and Ivan a shot.

Let me tell you a tale of three guys looking at a leaky roof. The first was a young guy from a big company with perfect hair, wearing a suit, who came the day after I called. He sat down at my picnic table and showed me some glossy brochures. His hands were clean and manicured. He quoted me thirty grand to replace the roof. He didn't look at the roof. I got the impression he'd never touched a ladder. The second guy showed up a couple of days later, was wearing khakhis and a short sleeved button-up shirt. He was an older guy with a confident handshake and a folder full of more old-fashioned pamphlets from an older, smaller, more established roofing company. He told me he'd been in the roofing business for thirty years. He looked at the roof, but from the ground, pointing. He quoted me thirty-five grand, but told me there were financing options, and they could start as early as next month. I got the impression he'd spent some time on roofs, twenty years ago. The third guy was Ivan, who turned up within two hours of my call, said hello, told me he would fly his drone, flew his drone, took a bunch of pictures, and told me he could patch it up for five hundred bucks. I said to Ivan, are you sure that's a good idea, the last two guys thought the whole thing needed replacement - he grinned in a "Come on man" sort of way and told me my roof was old but not THAT old. He didn't fix it that day because he didn't have any matching shingles on him, but Maria set up an appointment and got the correct shingles, my roof was fixed a couple of days later, he sent me close-up high-res before-and-after pictures of the repairs, and everything has held up perfectly. That was about five years ago and I've used them for everything roof-related since, and now that they know the colour of my roof and can get shingles ahead of time, they work even faster. Today is Monday. I lost some shingles (different ones) in the big winds on Friday, emailed Maria at 1:52pm yesterday, she

Thank you so much for your incredible review. Truly, we don’t have enough words to express how much we appreciate it. It means a lot to us to know that we were able to provide the level of service you deserve. Pittsabana is not just a roofing company — it is a family business, and because of that we take every project very personally. When someone trusts us with their home, we don’t see it as just another job. We see it as welcoming someone into our extended family. Hearing that you consider us your trusted roofer is something that makes us very proud. Our goal has never been simply to work honestly to earn a living, but also to contribute positively to our community by helping homeowners feel cared for, respected, and truly listened to. Thank you again for your trust, your kind words, and for allowing us to work on your home. It was truly a pleasure. We will always be here whenever you need us.

We are very pleased with the job Pittsabana Roofing did on our home. They communicated well with us in regard to scheduling and the job was actually done ahead of schedule. It only took two days for the job to be completed and the workers cleaned up the entire yard. I was shown photos of the completed work and everything looks great. I recommend Pittsabana roofing.
