  Edit: For anyone seeing they responded below and thinking "Oh, it's okay they made it right." - They didn't reach out after responding here because they can't even remember to show up to a scheduled install twice in a row (even when the materials do show up), let alone a Google Review 😅. That or they just commented a response to take the sting off the review. I don't even expect anything from them. I just want others thinking about getting them to maybe consider someone else because if I could go back and pick another contractor I would. Original Review: I'm sure overall they are a good company, but for me personally, twice they scheduled to complete the job and didn't show without a phone call or any notice, because they completely forgot about me as soon as the deal was done. When I called to resolve the issue, staff were unhelpful and combative. Sales staff were helpful and the guy they did send in the end to manage the job was a good guy, but they didn't drop the price at all. Not even a couple hundred. Part of the reason I chose them from the other two contractors I got quotes from, despite them not being the cheapest, was because I wanted it done fast and correctly. Smaller contractor was cheaper, but had a longer lead time and time to complete. What's the point of paying such a high price for mom and pop service? They did do a good job on the roof in the end, but they weren't cheap and the service was bad for me.

  Very bad customer service they told me i had an appointment on thursday july 9 then send a text to tell me to call in they couldnt schedule it for that day very bad company out of pa they dont need to b in buisness if they cant b honest with the customer

  I’ll preface by saying the salesman were definitely informative, and I felt as though they were very personable in a sense. However my first issue that I had with the quoting/estimate process is that I was told it would take 90 minutes. The individuals were at my house for 3 hours. I should have read the previous reviews as some of the things mentioned in lower reviews, are what happened to me. This consisted of offering magical deals that supposedly end within a week/day, or all of a sudden being able to add a discount if you buy that day. However that discount wouldn’t work a week later. I mentioned multiple times that I’m shopping around and getting quotes but kept being pushed to accept their quote that day. Lastly, the pricing is INSANE. I understand the average in certain locations like Pittsburgh. I also understand that pricing should really be dictated by work, materials, and sq ft of the roof. I was quoted in three packages ranging from $20,000-$28,000 for a 1300 sq ft roof. The reps bashed the other quotes I received about how their work isn’t detailed, yet didn’t have a detailed estimate of where their pricing is coming from. I was told I’d receive an email with details but haven’t.

  Hired MHI for roof inspection as a3rd party . Paid close to $300 . I wanted true and honest facts concerning previous installation by another installer, after 3 weeks I still have not received a written report. This company wasted no time …

  Avoid this company- quoted me over double, almost triple what 3 other more reputable companies did. Wanted almost $30,000 for a 1,500 sq foot roof. And MHI’s products/brands used were lower quality. They would not explain or provide a cost …

  There isn't a single 80mph highway in Ohio "cutting up" in traffic cutting off loaded commercial trucks and brake checking while driving a big billboard is crazy

  We had our roof replaced in 2023, had a less than stellar experience, and have dealt with leaks during heavy rains since then. MHI has been here to perform repairs on the same spot twice, after the ceiling in our bedroom began crumbling from water damage because they didn't fix it the first time. After noticing more leaks again today, we were informed MHI "doesn't do emergency repairs," even though their shoddy workmanship thrice over is the cause of the emergency. Completely unacceptable. Do not give your money to this company.

  Called for a roof replacement estimate appointment. Appointment was set up with a 10am to noon window. Nobody showed up. Called the office. They have no information on an appointment. Were blaming A.I. I have the call history to back up the calls. Communication is everything Wasted my day off for nothing. Bad karma right away. Someone messed up and cost the company a big job. 🤷🏻. Moving on.

  I found the entire process to be quite smooth and relatively easy. As with any project of this size there were a few minor glitches but Keith and MHI worked quickly and efficiently to rectify and resolve any issue. I am very pleased with the work done. Keith and MHI were great to work with and I would recommend MHI.

  Cabor was awesome!!! Had several bids come out, but nothing matched MHI’s value. The crews lived up to every expectation that was set. Would definitely recommend to anyone who needs a new roof or repair.

  My roof was in bad shape and I didn't; even realize it because it wasn't apparent to my untrained eye. My insurance company dropped me, so I was in a scramble to get my roof replaced. I had heard horror stories from a couple friends about hiring contractors that didn't have a a strong history of quality work, so I wanted to go with a company that was reliable, insured, and efficient. MHI wasn't cheap, but with the construction costs these days, you get what you pay for and I wanted a roof that would outlast me. My contact at MHI, Keith B. is fantastic! He went above and beyond to make sure a pesky 30+ year old satellite dish was removed from the side of the roof. I can rest easy about my roof now!
