  BEWARE, actual potential customer here. As we were looking for repair on our roof, and given the contact information for the repair individual, we were told that they would not consider our repair, even if it included patchwork or was paid out of pocket. Why have a repair team, and be told they have a repair team, if repair work will not be considered? I initially was not going to write a thorough review but this individual also texted my personal phone number claiming that I was spamming, and being argumentative. Unfortunately, they need better customer service and learn how to properly deal with customers.They have lost a potential customer, or multiple, which they may not even care about. UPDATE: Gino, you must have us confused. We have only lived in this property for a year, we had never heard of you until I did a google search about two weeks ago. CUSTOMERS BEWARE this is how they treat POTENTIAL customers. I will copy your response to this in case you ever try to delete it: Response from the owner 14 minutes ago Yes, we denied your repair request two years ago!!!   Yes, we denied your repair request two years ago!!! You found someone doing it for you and it’s all falling apart even in more places. Now you approach us with replacement request.   M&Y redid our siding and gutters and downspouts. His estimate was extremely misleading. He sent 7 pictures where he was doing work and then wrote in tiny letters on one of the pictures that that gutter wasn't included in his estimate (when we told him we wanted all the gutters and downspouts redone).When they did the gutters we found that one of the gutters wasn't draining and we asked them to come out and fix it. He said he would be out that next day and that we didn't need to be there since the work was outside. No one came. THe water was still in the gutter. When we asked why he didn't come he said we said we weren't going to be home. Very disappointed in their work and their lack of ownership in the quality of their work. Think twice and then use some other company.

  Hi Naomi. We have never meet with you but we did work on your house, replacing siding and gutters. Your husband, John Grodin, was the one creating the scope of work needed. In the agreement, that he signed, everything outlined very straightforward with no gimmicks. Everything he asked for, was in the agreement and completed. When John demanded on more gutters for the house we reffered to the agreement and it shows in two sections, that we are NOT doing those sections - he replied that he didn't see it in the agreement. When I offered to listen to our conversation recordings, where he told us to DO NOT REPLACE THOSE GUTTERS TWICE, he started shaking and run inside the house. I was confuzed to see that behavior. He come back with the checknin his hands. Yes, all our conversations are always recorded for our personal needs. After he gave me the check, we agreed to get another work order for additional work. Next day he texted me about the gutter not 100% up to his standards and needs to be adjusted. It was not an issue for me and I replied immediately, that we will come back and adress it within the next few days, nothing was set for Monday. Not sure why he expected us that day. Unfortunately, he started to bombarded me with very rude and nasty text messages and calling me names. He stated that he no longer wishes us to come to his property or police will be called. Not sure why your husband was upset as we never denied anything he asked for except free work he expected us to provide for your house. At the end of the day, your house has a new sidind and gutters installed by professionals with a few compliments from the neighbors, we get 1 star review from you but no free work provided to your house.   I just requested a quote and they responded that they don't do houses in Pittsburgh. Apparently the #1 Roofing Company in Pittsburgh doesn't service houses in the city of Pittsburgh. This is very confusing and their entire website is misleading (possibly illegal false advertising?). Perhaps the person who responded was wrong so I'm happy to update my review if I get a response or clarification.

  Hi Kristen. Yes, you did requested a repair quote and we replied to you that we don't serve your area. We have never waisted your time or keep you hanging and replied within a minutes to you. There's a hundreds of other roofing companies that may help you with your request but not us, in your case. Yes, I replied to you and explained why we don't serve your area and why we won't take on your request. We have never get into other aspects of the estimate/inspection so your valuable time won't be wasted and you can spend it towards the search for the right company for your needs. But instead you decided to give us a 1 star rating, without being a customer. Best of luck with your project. Gino

  I recently had my roof and gutters/downspouts replaced by My Pittsburgh Roofing and the process went smoothly from start to finish. They showed up as scheduled, finished in two days and cleaned up like they weren't ever there. Great workmanship at a fair price is hard to find these days. Thanks guys!

  We worked with them to do a vent installation and went super smooth. They also helped us understand the condition of our room with drone photos. Will definitely work with them in the future

  MY Pittsburgh Roofing was great to work with. This was my first time getting a new roof, so I wasn't really sure what I needed. James sat me down and talked through all the details of my roof replacement including pricing and his personal recommendations. I never got the impression that he was trying to upsell me. The quote I got was on par with others I got from different companies in the area, and there were no surprise charges after the fact. I went with MY Pittsburgh Roofing because of their upfront communication and transparency. The roof itself took longer than expected to complete, due to some additional work required and poor weather. But these crews worked first thing in the morning till it got dark, and from what I saw, they were very meticulous. After the roof was done, they made sure that any debris was cleaned up, including nails and sharp objects. My only complaint would be that my plants around my house got trampled, but I figured this would be the case and they'll grow back next year so I'm not too worried about it. Just something to keep in mind. My new roof and gutters look incredible and I'm very happy with the result. I would recommend MY Pittsburgh Roofing.

  Excellent experience with MY Pittsburgh Roofing. I live out of state and this whole process started when I got a call that part of my parent's very old roof had blown off during a bad storm. I googled for companies (in a panic of course) and this company came up. I called, Kiara answered (she's great!) and very quickly I had a team scheduled to come out and tarp the roof (a temporary measure while I figured some other stuff out.) I had to call back once because some of the tarps had slipped from more storms (not their fault) and within a day or 2, there were guys back out there to adjust them. They were always super responsive - hard to find a company that is these days. Overall, project went great. Gino made recommendations for what needed replaced (basically everything...fascia, gutters, chimney cap and of course the roof). Quote was very reasonable and the guys worked hard for many days (through all that wildfire smoke) and the house looks absolutely fantastic. You'll get drone shots before and after. Since I can't be on site myself, I really appreciated these. On top of all this, the roof was asbestos so I had that to deal with that - but Gino worked really well with my asbestos contractor to coordinate the timing and process. I'd recommend them a hundred times over!

  We built our house 18 years ago & our shingles started to disintegrate & we had a small leak. I had 3 different roofing estimates & MY Pittsburgh Roofing was the most thorough with their inspection & explanation of their services/company. Logan was great from start to finish. Their pricing was incredibly fair compared to other roofing companies that use the exact same shingle brand. One of the companies we had come out for an estimate literally gave me an estimate twice as much as MY Pittsburgh Roofing, I was shocked and called him out on it because they use the same brand of shingles with the same warranty. James was our project manager, his communication was amazing as well! The crew worked hard and cleaned up nicely. I didn’t even find 1 nail when they were done, which made me incredibly happy! The dumpster was in and out of our driveway in 1 day! I have already recommended them to my friends!

  We had what I thought was a missing shingle but ended up being a defective shingle where the granules washed away. Gino flew his drone to assess first and also found a second similar shingle. In addition to replacing the defective shingles, he inspected our roof, chimney and gutters. He was super thorough and sent us tons of before and after pictures. He was the only roofer willing to tackle our small job and we are thankful.
