I would not ever recommend Buccos Roofing. They installed a roof on my home but totally mangled my aluminum corners posts around my dormer and back of my house, their flashing work is a total joke. They have no attention to detail …

I cannot emphasize enough how much I wish I hadn’t worked with Buccos Roofing to get my roof replaced. In July of 2024, they came and replaced the entirety of our roof in 2 days. They were efficient and got it done quickly. That was the only positive aspect of this entire situation. The first issue I had was that the dumpster they used was left in my driveway for several days after the installation. A holiday occurred that week and I assumed it was just because of that. The problems started when McDonald’s trash started blowing out of it and I had to go clean up the garbage. It was left long enough that I had to ask when it was going to be picked up. The second issue happened immediately after the installation and continued to cause issues for weeks after. Nails/screws were literally everywhere. Not only a nail here and there, but full on piles. Part of their selling point when we met to plan the project was that they use magnets during clean up to pick up nails after the installation. I have dogs, so this was a big part of why I chose to go with a bigger company, thinking they would live up to their own standards and expectations. When I reached out to Buccos, they could not confirm to me if this clean up had been done or not. It wasn’t until 2 weeks later when I had nails in the tires of my car that they decided to take the issue seriously. I had to get 4 new tires and they did offer to reimburse me. Eventually, someone randomly showed up and did the clean up. The check didn’t show up until September, after I had to call and inquire about it. It was a sigh of relief to be done with Buccos then, given the issues I had already dealt with that summer due to them. The first winter after our roof replacement was the winter of 2024-2025. By January of 2025, we had experienced our first issue with our main floor furnace. That furnace’s flue pipe is on our roof, while the other furnace’s is at surface level. When we needed an HVAC technician to come out, an ice storm had

Danielle, we’re truly sorry. Reading through everything you experienced, we understand why you feel the way you do. The dumpster being left, the trash, the nails, the tire damage, and especially the concern around the furnace flue pipe are all serious issues. That is not the experience any homeowner should have after trusting a company with a major project like a roof replacement. We know an apology does not undo the frustration, stress, or concern this caused, but we are sorry for what you went through and appreciate you taking the time to share it.

Communication was poor with me and their own staff, and there appeared to be limited oversight of the subcontractors they used. One roof took nearly a month to complete, and another resulted in a warranty claim after a volleyball-sized hole was left in an improperly flashed area which took months to resolve. Most of the work is cleanly done, but their quality control process is lacking. Edited: This review was edited to reflect fulfillment of warranty work.

I hired Bucco’s for a project at my home, and while the final work itself appears fine, the overall experience was extremely unprofessional and far below what I’d expect from an established company. While the quality of the final work is satisfactory, the overall experience from start to finish was unacceptable due to repeated delays, lack of communication, and poor project coordination and management. It took almost a month to complete a two day project (though every time I spoke with the foreman he assured me it was a one day project) due miscommunication among Bucco’s (the foreman was changed after I spoke to them and agreed upon a date, then the incorrect crew showed up at my home then left, then the correct crew was detained in Virginia and was delayed arriving at my property), a total disregard for my neighbors (the materials were delivered to the middle of a public side walk), an asbestos investigation that appears to have been delayed simply because the sample was not dropped off for testing for over a week, and in general not being given any updates proactively, only receiving information after I contacted them to find out what was going on. Finally when everything was set, and they were ready to work I was told that they would arrive Monday morning, at 1pm I finally called to see where the crew was, and only then was I told that they were delayed at another job. I was then told they would be there soon. They were not, I called again later that afternoon, and was told they would not be arriving today (following on the trend of never receiving any information from them until I reached out). That afternoon, a dumpster was delivered in my driveway without my consent or opportunity to move my car from the garage. They did arrive the following day, but after the work was completed, I had no follow up communication with Bucco’s to address how the project went or what work was completed (we had some “maybe” items in our quote), only notifications about outstandi

Hired Bucco's to do an emergency tarping when a tree fell on my house while waiting for insurance to approve a repair because they made a lot of promises that they'd be able to stop the water and get my roof "water tight". First off, they don't seem to understand what an emergency is because they took a week to first get out while it rained almost every day and I had water pouring through my roof. Once they finally got it on, it rained again the next and sure enough, water starts pouring through the roof again. I send them a text and they say "yeah, we'll send someone back out". Another week goes by while it rains every other day and they finally get out to adjust the tarp. Two days later, it rains again, and once again, water starts pouring through the roof into the house. Text them again, and they tell me "oh well, flat roofs are tricky" and then never come back out. Luckily another company was able to push me up on their schedule and actually get my roof patched or I'm certain I'd still have water coming through today. Now they're sending me invoices that literally say "Secured to prevent additional interior or structural damage" which they absolutely did not do. Definitely not worth the $1000 for the tarping that they charged.

Wow.....I was supposed to have gutters installed today, I was told that they would be here at 9:00 am. They literally just called me at 8:20 am to tell me that they have to reschedule me. Some lame excuse that the gutter machine that apparently is run by subcontractors is broken. Totally unacceptable. I worked a double shift yesterday at my job, just to be able to take the day off work today for this installation. I told them that I cannot take another day off work and requested a refund on my deposit. We'll see how fast they are to do that! I then received a call from the General Manager apologizing, saying the cancellation was due to a call off, not a faulty machine that I was told. I Was told they would try to pull some workers from other jobs to accommodate my job today, or they would be able to complete the job over the weekend. What a surprise.....after he got off the phone with me I never received a call back or anything. I'll be trying to fight to get my down payment back. I Would not recommend this company.

This company misled me about replacing my roof. They said they were going to send me a quote and then said they are too busy to work on my property. After days of scheduling and phone calls, they wasted my time. Wouldn't be surprised if Bob Nutting's nephew ran this joke of a company. Stay away from these frauds.

I got quotes from four roofing companies for a full roof and gutter replacement and I'm so glad I ended up going with Buccos. From start to finish this was honestly one of the best contractor experiences I've had. David Carpenter did our estimate and he was fantastic to work with. I had a LOT of questions (probably too many, sorry David) and he never once made me feel like I was being annoying. He actually took the time to go back and incorporate specific things I asked about into the actual work plan instead of just giving me a generic quote. You could tell he wanted to get it right, not just get the sale. Then Chris Gilbert took over as project manager once we scheduled, and he was incredible. He walked me through the whole project beforehand so I knew exactly what to expect, and he was on site literally the entire day of the install. He kept sending me pictures throughout the day as things progressed, which was such a nice touch, I could actually see the tear-off, then the new decking, then the shingles going on in real time instead of just wondering what was happening up there. He also kept checking in with updates, which honestly felt like a level of hand-holding I wasn't expecting in a good way. He managed to deal with my intense paranoia. Every time he said something would happen, it happened, and it happened well. The crew itself blew me away. They did our entire roof AND gutter replacement in one day. One day! They worked nonstop and the cleanup afterward was spotless. If there was a 6th star I'd give it. Between David upfront and Chris running the show on install day, this team just gets it. Quality work, fair price, no shortcuts. Can't recommend Buccos enough.

The siding project was excellent. Two years out & it still looks great. We had a couple very minor issues with loose pieces: With just a phone call, they quickly came out & resolved the issue perfectly. Would happily work with them again.

Chris from Buccos went out of his way to make sure the project went smoothly and kept me informed with any changes that needed made. He went out of his way to make sure the site (inside and outside) were clean and orderly. He made sure that our special needs group that uses the church had a safe way to get into the building. He even went as far as wiping down all the hymnals in church. The roof turned out, absolutely gorgeous. I have worked as a maintenance supervisor for over 30 years And I have worked with many contractors and Chris is definitely one of the best I would highly recommend your company without hesitation Thanks for the great work
