  The most unmotivated and unprofessional group of crass and vulgar jokesters I've ever seen. Yelling, screaming, making noises and acting like children. My neighbor's roof looks good but I would be absolutely embarrassed to have this "crew" do any work on my home

  We had a leak in our roof. Newcastle came out and fixed it. They installed a piece so it wouldn’t happen again. Fast forward 4 months, same exact spot it happened again. We had a leak in a different spot on the roof two. We got no showed 3 different times. Then, they came out just to caulk everything. Now they are trying to charge us for an entire repair with new shingles. All they did was caulk. Pretty frustrating!

  I spoke with Kyle on 12/2. He gave me an estimate and told me someone would be in contact to schedule my roof repair. I didn’t hear from anyone so I sent him a message on 12/9 letting him know that no one had contacted me and asked if he would be able to come out soon for the job. He told me they could be out the next day or the day after. It is now 12/15 and I have not heard from anyone and my roof still needs repaired. Poor communication shows lack of professionalism and is a very frustrating experience to be in from a customer standpoint.

  Terrific work on a difficult flat roof repair and replacement. The team worked tirelessly and efficiently in rebuilding what had been a very sad and leaky roof. The cleanup was immaculate and done in record time. Thank you Newcastle.

  We had excellent experience with Dave and the entire New Castle Roofing team. The crew was punctual, professional and took pride in their work. The project was completed efficiently and at a very reasonable cost. They were respectful of our property, took care to protect our landscaping and did a thorough clean-up once the job was finished. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of roofing services.

  I had a "Shed/Bar" built in our backyard for entertaining and holding all our lawn equipment. Unfortunately when I had sculpted concrete poured around it the "Pros" loused it up. This caused my 2 side doors to rot out every year and me fixing the wood. I tired many companies to fix the problem but nobody wanted to do it until my neighbor was using Newcastle to fix her Pergola. I asked them to come take a look and they said they would do the job. They did it FIRST RATE. It wasn't inexpensive but worth EVERY penny as I now have non-rotting fiberglass doors on the shed with no problems. These guys tackle all kinds of problems besides roofing.

  Dave and his crew are unbelievably efficient, punctual, and accurate in their work. We recently had a roof replaced with a 50 year shingle and within two days the job was complete. They buttoned up everything and cleaned up after themselves. Further, they rebuilt a back porch overhang that was original to the house, over 100 years old. It was in really bad shape. After pulling it down they realized that it was barely supported and was an absolute hazard. Again Dave and his crew did a bang up job of rebuilding the deck, can't bring it into the existing house beams, and even making it larger so that more than one person could sit on it. It's now usable space thanks to Newcastle roofing.

  Words can't express the appreciation I have for Dave Hillie, Newcastle Roofing and Remodeling and the crew that did such an outstanding roofing replacement for me. They were very professional and respectful to my property and the neighbor's. There cleanup was impressive. I am thrilled with the entire job from Dave's job cost proposal to the reapplication of the Leaf Gard filters at the end.. IF it weren't for the new roof that looks great you could not tell how much work was done. The crew took real pride in their work from start to finish. I will recommend New Castle to anyone looking for roofing, siding or any general remodeling. It is a outfit that can be trusted.

  My husband and I want to give a huge shout-out to NewCastle Roofing and Remodeling in Avon Lake, and to Kyle, Dave, Rick, and the crew! Our new roof looks gorgeous, and their work ethic and professional knowledge are phenomenal. They went above and beyond on everything. Great communications on their part, too, both onsite and with the office. It’s SO hard to find a top-notch local company like NewCastle, that has deep roots in the community, and is staffed with quality people you can trust to do an amazing job. We’re super grateful and recommend them highly.

  I had a leak in my upstairs skylight that was actively coming into my bathroom ceiling drywall when it rained. The skylight was 20 years old and was due for replacement. Newcastle was able to help me out quickly with a visit/estimate and was able to replace the window the very next week. I was very impressed and happy with their service and will be using them to replace my other two older skylights.

  Work seems to be good quality but their communication is atrocious at best. Not sure if they take on too many jobs or don't have enough staff but you can tell they are not set up to give the best possible customer experience to their clients.

  We used new castle roofing twice on our Avon Lake home. The first time we used them we were having a leak into our addition. We had a few quotes from various companies who wanted to tear off the whole roof. New Castle came in identified the problem (no flashings had been installed during construction) and gave a range of estimates based on if their assessment was accurate or if other issues came up during the job. They were correct and fixed the issue quickly. In total I think they were at our house less than 2 hours. They made sure to gather all of the staples and scraps because they saw we had children and wanted the patio area to be safe for them. The second time they came out it was to replace a few shingles we had put tar on thinking they were the cause of the previous leak. We had decided to sell our home and wanted to replace the shingles for cosmetic reasons. They had someone out the same day for a roofing sample and the job was completed within the week. We no longer live in Ohio but would happily recommend them to friends and family.
