  Came out temporarily patched our roof, sent us a quote, we immediately signed and returned the quote and never heard back. Reached out 5x to try and schedule, finally they tell us the project manager we had no longer worked for them and that they are too busy to fix our roof and gave us the number to “Carl” some guy that used to work for them. Waste of time, energy and money. Thank you for nothing.

  Hi Emily, thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry this experience didn’t feel smooth to you, that’s not the standard we aim for and rarely if ever find ourselves in a situation like this. Once we learned about the ventilation and gutter guard concerns, our team scheduled return visits, made the adjustments we could, and offered a courtesy credit given the age/condition of the existing guards. We felt we did everything reasonable to make it right, but we understand you are still frustrated. This isn’t typical for our Franciscus, and we’ll use it for training purposes and tighten our follow-throughs. If you’d like to talk it through directly, we’re still happy to.

  I apologize for your experience. We can’t legally access a property that you don’t own. To properly quote a project of that magnitude we couldn’t do it from a picture of the property. That should have been made clear and I will talk to our people about explaining that better in the future.

  Roofing review Attention all homeowners or business owners who are looking to have their roofs replaced. This is a review for Franciscus Roofing Company. I strongly recommend not using this company. They’re work and craftsmanship is subpar. They’re service is also subpar. I bought a home in Florida, fall of 2019, which had to have a new tile roof installed before closing. The seller used Franciscus Roofing Company. The roof came with a guarantee which transferred to me once sale was complete. The following is my experience with this company. 1. They left roofing nails and debris around the home exterior which filled an entire 50 gallon contractor bag. I know because I cleaned it up. 2. Within the first year we had a leak that went into the garage. May 2020. I called the company and after some time a representative came out and located the leak from the roof. They said they fixed the leak. I replaced the drywall and repainted. The next rain showed the leak was never fixed. They never water tested their work. I called back and after a week another rep came to the house. They said they got it this time. I waited to re drywall and finish which was a good thing as it still leaked. It took 4 times before they fix it. 3. This past January, 2024 the next leak started. Directly over our front bedroom. I called the company on a Wednesday as water was pouring in from a rain. No one returned my call and when the next rain came on Friday I contracted another company to begin work to stop water coming into the house. Since the roof was still under warranty I called Franciscus again and finally a rep came to the house. He said he will fix the roof and not to worry. I told my new contractor that he can do the drywall repairs and roof stucco repairs but Fransiscus will be doing the roof work. My contractor agreed and called off his roofer. Fransiscus sent one man to fix the roof. He worked for a few hours and left. The rep came by the next day and water tested the work. It failed.

  We had a wonderful experience with the sales rep. For Francisco Roofing, Mike Jones who sold us the roof and helped us with financing. John McClain was our project manager and he was also wonderful with getting our items ordered and ready for installation and picking the roofing crew.   We were losing shingles with every wind storm. Edgar suggested filing a claim with house insurance. He helped us in the process and in the end a new roof was installed at no cost to us. A great group through the entire process.

  I highly recommend Franciscus Roofing. Specifically, our crew chief Dane Ohly. Our property is within the historical register with the City of Cleveland. This required a lot of extra work on Dane’s part for the proper permits. He handled it all. Any changes in the schedule were communicated in a timely fashion. Very important during rainy season in Ohio. We were well informed on a daily basis of changing dates dues to the weather. The day of the install I was sent pictures from the job site showing their work. Not just a single picture. Multiple pictures throughout the day to see their progress. The day of install crew under the leadership of Remus was excellent. I commented to Dane after they were here how clean the job site was. Nothing even left in our garbage. That is an efficient crew. I want to thank Dane, Remus & the entire crew at Franciscus Roofing and I will be recommending them to anyone that needs a roofer.

  We had Pat from Franciscus stop to give us an evaluation of a problem we were having. Pat gave us a fair and honest evaluation. He explained the issue we were having and gave us a fix. We will call Franciscus when we need a new roof.
