Came in and gave estimate. Scheduled the work to be done, took the insurance money, and then ghosted the customer.

Truly horrific experience. We're now 18 months into the process with Journey and no work has been completed. They took payment of over $12k and have since refused to answer any calls and both of the contacts we've had at the company have since been let go. Please do not use this outfit - they've stolen our money and have gone completely dark after pushing us back in the schedule for months on end. If zero stars were an option I'd rate them that

Disregard any positive reviews. DO NOT ignore the negative ones!!!! RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS QUICK AS YOU CAN!!!! Last fall they came to our church to present. Seemed legit. I even won an outdoor furniture piece in a raffle. They came …

Seems to take the money and run without completing service

After an initial good experience with the company, they have seemingly dropped off the face of the earth. They have all of my insurance money and will not return my calls, nor will they schedule my job. I am so disappointed, and do not know if I should call the police of threaten legal action. This is ridiculous.

They approached ME about my roof, I accepted the quote. Inspection was smooth and when my insurance denied it they went full MIA, several voicemails with no response and have yet to replace the shingles they took to get tested. Have had a patch on my roof for over a year now and still no contact.

I had my roof replaced a few years ago. There was a leak. They came out right away the first time, but the leak continued. They never came back. The leak is pretty bad now, and over the last 2 weeks I have called, left messages, sent …

Trying to get communication from Journey Home Restoration is nightmarish. We originally had them out in early 2023 to look at our roof after winter storm damage caused a leak. It took until late July of 2023 for them to install the new roof, after having to follow up with their project manager multiple times to get updates, along with them losing details of what we wanted and having to tell them multiple times what color shingles we had ordered. The install went long and they left debris, but at least we had the roof. However, we had a leak that they mostly-fixed in a different location after install - but we still have a slow leak after more than a year of trying to get them to come out and properly fix the situation. We have left several voice mails because they rarely pick up their phones, we have sent emails without a response back, have gotten called by confused painters and once the receptionist, and not actually talked to project managers or the owners despite requesting to talk to people who would actually be able to schedule us. Our mudroom has holes in the ceiling and a slow leak to this day that we have had for over a year now, and there have been a couple of times that drywall guys have called to fix the drywall only for us to request that the leak be fixed before the drywalling is done. Journey Home Restoration is refusing to uphold their workmanship warranty and we will be escalating to legal action soon. The work that they did was acceptable, but it isn't worth the headache and the failure to communicate and act with integrity when something goes wrong.

If I could give negative stars I would. The whole job took more than a year to complete for a roof and siding. They ordered the wrong material originally. Then they didn’t order enough and the front of my house wasn’t complete until the …

Things were a bit rocky and there were a lot of communication struggles BUT Abdiel made sure to call and clear up all issues and made sure to rectify every situation. He made sure my roof was beautiful, my claim was taken care of, and that the team would make sure to come finish everything that needed to be completed. I felt grateful for the follow up call and navigating every little detail to make sure it was up to par. Thank you Abdiel

We have a ranch style home and a barn up front on our property in Hinckley. We had Kyle from Journey Home Restoration come out to perform an inspection for us and he found several issues that needed to be addressed. Kyle made us feel at ease during the whole process and communicated with our insurance provider the repairs that needed to be completed. By the end of our time with him, we received full replacements on both our barn and home and Kyle handled the whole way through. I recommend him to all my family and will contact him for any future home remodeling issues in the future! 10/10

I asked a friend at my church about roof repair and they recommended Journey Home Restoration to come out and see if I qualify for a new roof. They sent out Kyle D. Who was really pleasant to talk to and was able to show me pictures of my roof I didn't even know was up there. I highly recommend them!

Seemed hopeful as they did the family’s church roof, but every family member who signed up after the church has been let down. None of us have had consistent communications, 2 of them had to go to the office and raise hell, 1 even mailed a CERTIFIED LETTER because no one would get back to them. I’ve been working with the company since February, haven’t been contacted in over a month. I have been through three different “project managers” & Last I knew 8/12/25 I was waiting on a permit which takes about a week. (It is now 9/23) They also already have thousands of dollars from me - It’s been over a month with ZERO communication. Maybe I’ll update this review if I ever get my new roof but this whole experience has been a waiting game- and now it’s nearly the end of the year and cold weather again. Would not recommend this company, find one that will communicate. EDIT: after nagging we got the date of October 17th for our roof, which is today. I took the day off of work just for no one to show up and me to still not have a roof. I called the office number several times where no one would answer, left a voicemail & waited a bit, no return call. So, I stopped in office- door unlocked with a completely empty office. Waited around a while, no one available or even there at all to my knowledge. At this point I want my money back and will take my business elsewhere. The kicker is the fact that they “hearted” this review from me instead of replying to it in a professional manner, very mature. EDIT2: finally got my roof on 10/23 after threatening legal action. The laborers crushed my flowers and what was left of my vegetable garden that was still producing along with breaking two of my solar lights. I asked them to leave the extra material before I left, and watched them take 4 out of the 6 bundles of shingles that were leftover and throw them into the back of their dump trailer & cover them with used shingles for what I can only assume is their own use, —on my camera & sen

Jeff and his entire team did such an amazing job from the beginning stages of getting an estimate, submitting claims to our insurance for our roof and siding, and communication during a brief period until the job was completed. We are so very grateful for such a professional company and how beautiful our home turned out. Highly recommend to anyone in need of these services.

I don’t claim to be a roofer but this is how my home was left after a second repair and now after almost 4 weeks I cannot get a call back as to when they will be out to attempt to fix the front of my house. I would love to have it fixed.

Journey Home Restoration was a fantastic company to work with for our insurance claim and roof replacement. Rob B. was our project manager, and he worked tirelessly to ensure that we received the maximum allowance from our insurance company for our roof replacement. After initiating the claim in October 2023, our new roof was installed this past week. We could not be happier with the results, as well as the customer service we received from Journey Home Restoration throughout the entire process.

Outstanding team to work with. I worked closely with the inspector of journey home since first finding them on the advisory app. This is the one company I absolutely feel obligated to advise others to use. The process on having my roof replaced and having my gutters replaced was an ease off my mind but the work itself, I was blown away. The replacement on my roof was complete by one work shift. I especially want to point out that the cleanup was very appreciative. Extremely impressive. I will continue to recommend journey home restorations to anyone that mentions roofs gutters or sidings or anything that has to pertain to a home. Special shout out to Michael Raimondo who was the representative and inspector I've been working with since the beginning. I hope to bring more business to the company
