  BEWARE! J**** Mendell installed a shingle roof giving a 10 year workmanship warranty in March 1, 2016 for a cost of $8,800. 7 years later in July 2023 I put the property up for sale. Buyers Inspector discovered there was no underlayment installed on the roof and I had active roof leaks, J**** Mendell was contacted in writing requesting a workmanship warranty claim, no response, 2 weeks later I had to Hire another roofer, ******** ** *******, to access the leaks. I had to pay $10,750.00 to have the roof completely torn off. It was confirmed there was no underlayment on the entire roof and I had several areas of wet wood rot on my roof. I have a licensed inspectors report & another roofer with photos who confirmed the workman ship defect. J**** Mendell will not respond or compensate for the cost I incurred.

  Oh boy here we go again. Why wouldn't you address that with me and maybe show me the proof and give me a chance to correct it if that's the case? You didn't show up on the other complaint you posted when we were supposed to meet at the project with our attorneys present!!! So with that being said this lady obviously has some kind of grudge. This is the first time I've ever heard about this new complaint. So she is not to be taking seriously until the court proves me negligent. Wouldn't be surprised if this doesn't continue with her posting negative reviews

  I grew up in my family's roofing supply business. I have dealt with many roofers. Because of my knowledge of roofing materials, I wanted a specific shingle. I solicited recommendations from area roofing supply companies as to who they would recommend for our new roof installation. They recommended Jamie Mendell and Mendell Roofing. Jamie and his crew could not have been more professional. They left our premises, providing the quality roof installation and product we wanted in perfect condition. We highly recommend Mendell Roofing. -Excellent Job. It's been 2 years since the new roof installation and we couldn't be happier.

  I have used mendell roofing three times now on a few rental properties and every time has been a great experience. I would highly recommend him for your next roofing.

  I have had jamie with Mendell roofing do 5 roofs so far. Out of 4 bids on the first one he had the best price by far. they always look good and never had to come back and fix anything thanks again.

  Jamie Mendell Roofing recently installed a new shingled roof on my home. He and his team did an excellent job. They stripped existing 20-year-old shingles used first quality materials for new. Attention to detail was excellent on ridge vents, flashings, plumbing vents and valleys. Even painted vent stacks to match shingles. Team did an excellent clean-up of nails and debris. Recommend them highly. Thanks Jamie

  Amazing work! Jamie is awesome to work with and handles everything. While other contractors were months out, Jamie and his team were at my house in a matter of days and knocked it out the same day! He is super responsive and was able to walk me through the insurance process as it was my first time. I wouldn’t ever use anyone else and recommend him to everyone!

  I was referred to this company by my mortgage company when I refinanced my home. My roof had been damaged by a storm and was aging/needed replacement. Mr. Mendell was fast with a quote and his pricing was the most reasonable of approximately 4 other companies that I got quotes from. He offered a nice quality of shingles for my home and was able to schedule me quickly. His crew arrived on time for the appointment and all work was done was done timely. There was a minor mishap where one of the crew accidentally knocked over part of my retaining wall, I think while placing the large container for my old roofing debris. Mr. Mendell was quick to make this right and I am so grateful for that. I also required a piece of plywood for my roof where there was some damage that was not anticipated in the original quote, and Mr. Mendell provided this for a very minimal additional charge. I would add photos of my nice new roof but it's hard to get a good one that does it justice, given the angle of my home on my small lot but trust me, you will not be disappointed with this company's work and service.
