I brought the owner, Becca Haggard, from That Girl Roofing to give me estimate and did some comparison shopping. She was personable and knowledgeable. Here are the issues: Price !! was ok, but i got another estimate from another roofer and his price was exactly the same but with far better dimensional shingles. Cleanup and Yard Protection !!!! Terrible. When I raised the issue given that we have plants all around our home and need to protect them and our yard, here is what she emailed me -- "When it comes to the mess, it's just part of the process. It's a mess until it's not. Nails and shingles will be everywhere! In this case even more so-with 60,000 nails with 3 layers of roofing" --Becca I investigated another property her company did through a friend who used her and the feedback i received is that lots of plant damage. They would not use her again. She simply says "it is part of the process and if you can't live with that, use someone else" OK her Competition: far superior: ***** he is putting a slide in from the roof to the street, not throwing shingles and nails in the yard, and he is also draping canvas all along the roof and over the plants in case something falls. That is huge difference!!! Net the competition offered the same price, better shingles, and meeting my customer need for getting my shingles and nails off the roof without just pitching all this heavy roof stuff over the edge and onto my grass, and plants!! I have learned two things. Lady on the roof, That girl Roofing, The Roof Girl seem to be popping up and selling based on strong woman run messaging. In this case, they have a story, images of standing on the roof on their websites with a workers belt with hammers and tools hanging off. What I have discovered is that they appear to be just marketers and using subcontractors from Mexico, Guatemalans, and Hondurans to actually do all of the work. It appears that the same crews are being used all over this area by roofing mark

The owner was supposed to be doing our roof and gutters but instead it's hired help. If it's girl on a roof, why is the work not being done by the girl on the roof? Workers left cigarette butts for my grandkids to get ahold of. The quality of products were excellent. The hired help owner uses does not respect one's property.

We do not have you as a customer in our database. This is not a legitimate job that we have completed. In addition, had we contracted together, you would’ve seen stated in my contract that I do not do all the work myself-as I run the business and own the business. This is how I know this is not a true review.

I contacted That Girl Roofing on short notice to do some repairs on our old home. I had already moved away to FL and had to handle everything over the phone. Becca was quick to respond and put us one the schedule. Her team was out within 1 1/2 weeks and had everything completed with pictures of the work done. It was so nice to know that things were taken care of and done right to my old home while we weren’t there. A trustworthy and reliable company that we will recommend to our NKY friends and family!

Some shingles were damaged 3 yrs after installation and That Girl Roofing fixed it on warranty within a week of being reported. Further, checked entire roof and cleaned up anything looking suspicious. I’m very favorably impressed.

Sometimes some shingles fail right out of the package, in this case delamination, but thank you for trusting us and the process!
