  We had a roof leak around a skylight because the flashing was not installed well, and it had likely been letting water in for some time, which led to some rot in the wood decking below. Jacob came to our home in Roseland very quickly, inspected the problem area, and clearly explained our roofing options. He offered a temporary roof repair so we could stop the leak right away while we planned for the larger project. He installed new flashing and ice and water shield around the skylight area, and that solved the leaking issue. He also took extra time to check the rest of the roof and gave us detailed estimates for either replacing the skylight and repairing the damaged roof decking or doing a full roof replacement. We really appreciated how knowledgeable, helpful, and thorough he was throughout the inspection. It was clear he understands roofing systems, leak repair, and long-term solutions, and we plan to have him come back when we are ready for the full roof job.

When the roofing crew arrived, they found the roof needed even less work than first expected, and they lowered the final invoice. That kind of honesty is hard to find in a roofer. They were straightforward, fair, and focused on what the roof actually needed, not on selling extra work. I had used this roofing team on another property before, and that roof still looks great after many years, which gave me a lot of confidence in their workmanship. They do solid roofing repairs, communicate clearly, and stand behind the quality of their work. I have already recommended them to others, and they have been very pleased as well.

  We hired a roofing team to replace our roof, gutters, downspouts, soffit, and fascia, and we were very happy with the whole process. We first met with jacob to go over what we wanted, roofing options, materials, and the best plan for our home. We also spoke with donovan a few times, and he was always helpful and easy to work with. The crew that handled the job did an excellent job, worked very hard, kept the site organized, and moved the project along smoothly.   I’m extremely pleased with the quality of the roofing and chimney work on my home, especially the chimney repointing and porch column repairs. The crew was the only one that thoroughly inspected the chimney from above and inside during the estimate, which made the repair list clear and the pricing accurate from the start. They also found a missing flue section and a chimney crown that was in very poor shape before the work began. I really appreciated how they used a drone to capture detailed roof and chimney photos and reviewed everything with me so I could clearly understand the condition of the structure. That extra care gave me confidence that the estimate matched the actual roofing and chimney repairs needed, unlike others who only looked from the ground. The team arrived quickly, answered all of my questions, and explained each step of the repair process in simple terms.   If I could give Martin & Sons Roof Repair more than 5 stars, I would. They put on my roof many years ago, and recently I noticed a small leak coming through the fascia board above the back door. After I called, they came out within a few days, checked the roofing area carefully, and found that a few damaged shingles were causing the issue. They fixed the problem right away, replaced the fascia boards, painted them, and also repaired a damaged gutter corner at the front of the house where a tree limb had hit it. Everything was handled professionally, the workmanship was solid, and they made sure the roof and drainage areas were in good shape. The best part was that all of this repair work was done at no charge. I have so many good things to say about the service, honesty, and care they showed.

  From start to finish, Jacob the project manager kept the roofing project on track and made the whole process easy. After a large tree hit my house, there was major damage to the roof, eaves, and gutters. i was especially worried about rebuilding the eaves and matching everything correctly, but the team handled the roof repair and exterior carpentry with real skill. They did excellent work on the framing, priming, painting, caulking, and gutter repair, and everything came together smoothly. Jacob even came by on a Sunday afternoon to meet with the insurance inspector, which really helped move the claim and roofing restoration along. The crew worked long hours, stayed professional, and was very respectful the entire time. they paid attention to detail, kept the job site organized, and made sure the property was protected during the work. The cleanup was outstanding. nothing was left behind, and the area around the house looked great when they finished. i was very pleased with the final results and how solid and neat the new roofline and gutter work looked. A couple of days after the project was done, Donovan and Jacob returned to inspect the completed work and the cleanup to make sure everything met quality standards.
