  We had a couple of roof leaks after a strong storm, so I called a local roofing company on Friday. By Monday, they had Tracy come out to inspect everything, and the quick response really stood out. Tracy checked the shingles and flashing on top of the roof, looked through the attic, and also inspected the ceiling inside the house to make sure the source of the leak was fully understood. I was very pleased with how friendly, honest, and skilled Tracy was throughout the visit. It was a relief to hear that the roof was still in good shape and did not have any installation problems. Tracy also shared helpful ideas to reduce the chance of future wind-driven roof leaks, including preventive maintenance and keeping vulnerable areas sealed properly. Based on the excellent service, clear communication, and professional roofing knowledge, I would gladly use this roofing company again for any future roof repair or inspection needs and would confidently recommend them to friends and family.

  They did an excellent job on my roof. When i bought the house, it had a very poor do-it-yourself roofing job. After tearing off the old shingles, they found the roof decking needed new OSB plywood, which increased the price, but it was the proper fix and the right way to protect the home. You really cannot see the condition under shingles until the tear-off is done, and they explained that clearly. I am very happy with the roofing materials, the workmanship, and the overall quality of the installation. the crew was skilled, organized, and worked well together like a real team. Even in the summer heat, they stayed professional, efficient, and positive throughout the project. They paid close attention to flashing, roof details, and cleanup, leaving the property neat when the work was finished. i would strongly recommend them for any roofing repair or roof replacement needs.

  Highly recommend Hernandez & Sons Roofing. We originally asked about gutters, and during the visit Tracy suggested we also have the roof checked for possible storm damage. That honest advice really stood out because it showed they cared more about the condition of our home than just making a quick sale. Brayden was excellent and very quick to respond, and he helped us work through the insurance side which made the whole roofing process feel simple and stress free. The crew arrived on time, stayed professional, and did outstanding work from start to finish. Our new roof looks great, and the workmanship is easy to notice right away. Even a neighbor commented on how much better our roof looked compared to another one completed nearby around the same time. The cleanup was also impressive.   Hernandez & Sons Roofing replaced our roof well beyond the original warranty period, and when i called on a monday morning about possible storm damage after heavy rain and wind in Mountain Lakes, someone arrived by late morning to inspect it. brayden gave a very prompt and honest roof evaluation, checked the shingles and flashing, and found that only a small repair was needed by securing one loose shingle back in place. the whole visit was handled with real professionalism, clear communication, and helpful roofing knowledge, and the repair was completed at no charge. we were very impressed with the fast response, fair service, and the care taken to make sure the roof was in good shape. can not ask for better service.

  We had a new roof and gutter system installed, and the old chimney with damaged siding was removed and replaced with a B vent. They also replaced some rotted siding under a dormer. The whole project went smoothly, and the new roof and gutters look excellent. Taking out the chimney and fixing the siding under the dormer made the house look much cleaner and more finished. Hernandez & Sons Roofing was very helpful from the first inspection through the final cleanup.   I had a leak coming through the ceiling above the window in my spare room, and after a few roofing inspections from other people, i was still dealing with the same issue. One person said I needed a few new shingles, so I paid for that repair, but the water still came in. Then two other roofers told me I needed a full roof replacement. In my view, the roof still looked solid overall and seemed more like a repair around the problem area than a complete tear-off. Later, i spoke with tracy about the situation, and he offered to stop by and check the roof. He followed through, inspected the area carefully, and found that the issue was connected to the flashing. Instead of pushing a big replacement job, he handled the flashing repair and solved the leak. Since then, i have not had any more water coming in, even through normal rain and changing NJ weather. What i appreciated most was the honest approach. He took time to look at the roofing system, explained the likely cause in simple terms, and focused on the repair that made sense instead of recommending work that was not needed right away. That kind of straightforward service is hard to find. When it is time for a future roof replacement, I will definitely call again. I feel confident trusting this roofer and would gladly recommend him to anyone who needs dependable roofing work, leak repair, flashing repair, or a fair roof inspection.
