  Hello Mr. Myers, We do apologize that the door hanger at your property lead to so much frustration. They are designed to stay on the door handle but the wind probably blew it off. Crazy storms so far this year and we have very little control of the wind and its direction! If you do need any assistance in the future, feel free to reach out to us. We will be able to assist you with Roofing, Gutters, Siding, and Windows & Doors. Also, make sure to have your roof inspected as your property falls into the hail swaths from March and we are currently replacing some of your neighbors roofs as they do have hail damage.   Very disappointed on a new roof installation. All i was looking for was a new roof. I was told it would be smart to have both my chimneys taken down to the roof due to damages they could cause, I agreed to everything and had the chimneys removed and new roof installed, only to find out they didn't reattach the flue pipes that went through the chimneys to the new roof... so carbon monoxide has been leaking into the attic for almost 8 months until the problem was caught... I don't understand why a service was offered if it couldn't be completed!!! $16,000 for my family's life is a terrible thing to think about. Seems to me they was ready to make that 16k and be done like they was in 1 day

  Hello Jesse, You called us on Thursday to discuss this matter. When we first met with you we explained that your Chimneys had to be repaired before a new roof could be replaced as they were in terrible condition and leaking. We could see daylight through them and it would have been impossible to install new flashings as the mortar was in disrepair. We explained that we do not have a Mason or Licensed HVAC Technician in St. Joseph and that you would need to get bids for that work before the roof could be installed. As an alternative, you could demo the Chimneys if you do not intend to use them. You agreed to have the Chimneys removed and signed a contract with MGC with the following line item: Removal of 2- 24"X24" chimney. This is a removal of the chimney above the roof line only. MGC is not responsible for any part of the chimney chase inside the house. By agreeing to this scope of work the homeowner is taking full liability to any interior work needed. (Scope of Work was signed on 8/9/2022). We were very clear that we could not see inside the walls of the house or inside the chimneys so we could not quote any additional work. We specifically told you that you HAD TO GET THEM (Chimneys) CAPPED. You agreed and signed the contract. Then, on the day of the build, I sent you the following email: (Copy/Paste from our CRM) Bryan Manning 8/24/22 10:38 AM Subject: Chimney Removal To: (customers email@gmail.com, MGC REP, MGC Production) Hello Jesse, Just a quick note letting you know that the exterior portion of the Chimney Removal is complete. The crew is installing new decking and will be shingling soon. Please make sure to have a chimney expert/certified contractor cap off the interior portion of the chimney as this must be taken out of service as there is no exhaust.   Highly recommend Aaron and Manning Roofing! From the moment Aaron came to bid my roof, I knew I was with the right rep and company. Throughout a stressful challenge with insurer, Aaron & Manning hung in there, checked in and assisted every way possible. Once approved (7 months later!) they did a fantastic job installing my new roof. Great selections, quality installation, and full clean up!

  Hello Mr. Lutsko, I’m sorry to hear your frustration with the billing. Per our telephone conversation, you have yet to make a payment on your account. Invoices have been sent to you and your Insurance Adjusters and as discussed, they have not responded. Unfortunately, we have no control of Insurance Companies or their Adjusters. As discussed, I resent all of the invoices, Certificates of Completion, and job site photos to your Adjusters. There is no reason why they should be delaying payment. You have been CC to the communication with the Insurance Company. Note that MGC is not a Public Adjuster and we can not cross a line of what is OWED. We have provided everything that is required, and YES, your new roofing system is looking great! Please follow up with your Adjustor and demand that they release funds. That should get the billing portion of this job squared away. Again, I apologize for your frustrating. We look forward to receiving payment and closing out this job. Regards, MGC

  I have never dealt with a contractor that cared about the customer as much as John with Manning General Contractors does. In the middle of a job, my father passed away and he contacted me to make sure that my Mom understood what was going on and wanted to make sure all parties were on the same page. The workmanship was great and done in a timely manner and I would definitely use them again if ever needed!

  Appreciated all the communication in getting the estimate, with the insurance process and with executing the job. The work was done as scheduled and the gutters were done sooner than expected.   John Tytla was fabulous to work with. We were referred to him by a fellow teacher when we posted online about tornado damage. He came out immediately and patched an open hole. He then looked at the damage with us and was a tremendous help navigating the insurance claim. He meet with adjusters and trades people to get all damaged items included on the claim and was here when his people were working. He knows his stuff and has great follow thru. I highly recommend John and Manning Roofing.
