  After interviewing and getting quotes from 8, yes EIGHT different siding companies and feeling defeated because the majority of the companies were using high pressure sales & were lying about their prices (expecting me to haggle) & many didn’t have the colors I wanted. I stumbled upon Lucas Home Improvements. Well, it wasn’t a stumble, it was more me in tears googling, “woman owned siding company locally owned in Baltimore.” After what I had experienced with the other companies I knew I needed to find a company and employees who I actively trusted, believed in, would do quality work, that I wanted my money to go to. Enter in Heather & Walter from Lucas Home. Walter came out and did measurements to get the square footage for my siding project. I asked to look through the colors while he measured the home and once he was done he explained to me the difference in the products because I had ALOT of questions. He even explained the different styles of insulations that I had learned about from previous companies. And get this, ZERO PRESSURE SALES. Walter told me Heather would be contacting me in the week to give a quote & explain the next steps if I chose them. I’m not going to lie, I chose them in that moment, but fair, I had to be an adult and wait for the quote before it was official, but genuinely, in my gut I already knew I had finally found my siding company. Once I received my quote, Heather came out to the house, we gabbed about work, life, the company, did a double check on the colors I wanted & I cut the first check. Skipping ahead in our story to installation and I could not be happier. Walter headed up the crew, and he addressed every issue sometimes before I could even let him know it needed to be addressed (think original flashing being the wrong color for the new siding and fixing it or changing the color of my vents because he knew I wanted it done right). I do not give recommendations lightly, I’m a designer who has worked in the blue collar orbit

  I needed my mailbox, post, etc upgraded and replacer. Kevin and one of his guys came over and did a great job. The mailbox and post were properly installed ,looked great and are more stable and secure than ever. Great guys and a great job. We look forward to having them do other work at our home. Highly recommended!

  Lucas Home Improvement came as a referral from my father in law when we needed to get new siding on our chimney and they found our roof needed to be re shingles due to high wind damage. Was very satisfied that our problems were resolved in a timely manner with reasonable prices.

  Our siding on one side of out townhouse was replaced by Lucas Home Improvement LLC. The entire process was wonderful. The pricing was fair. Heather helped to organize the process and was kind and easy to communicate with. I much prefer to have my work done by a small business and am glad I used Lucas Home Improvement LLC.

  I had a piece of gutter and downspout added to a tricky corner of the house. They did a great job for a good value. Availability was quick and I was very happy with their communication. Friendly crew who made sure I was happy with their work. Will hire again.
