  Lon smith did a terrible job roofing my house when there was a change to the roofline. I was forced to call in other roofers to fix a dead valley that was leaking a tremendous amount of water into the house. When I wrote them a letter asking for a 10 percent discount to cover the cost of the other roofers, they refused.

  requesting a quote and they came out quickly. a week goes by and then another so I ask for the quote to be told they are too busy to give it without the details of what my insurance company gives. CROOKED way to do business.

  I just watched a driver use a company Tundra to double park in a busy strip, and then toss a tow warning on the ground before speeding off. It’s disheartening to see that this littering is representative of the company’s regard to cleanliness and the consideration of others.

  While the roofing portion of my insurance claim and experience with Lon Smith went rather smoothly, their ability to handle the window replacement portion of my claim was abysmal. Three confirmed appointments where the contractor no showed and one day where an unidentified contractor showed up, with no identification, couldn't connect himself to Lon Smith, etc. my window is still not fixed and has taken over three months to attempt to resolve. Ultimately we have ended our agreement with no remorse or reparations from Lon Smith and I now have to go source another vendor to complete the repairs to my home. Lon Smith has done work for my family for over 30 years, but will no longer be servicing our needs due to the absolute lack of concern or respect during this unfortunate experience.

  Mrs. Causey, We are so disappointed about the way the window installation part of our project with you ended. The window contractor we used dropped the ball and we failed to pick it up in a timely manner. For this we apologize. There are many window contractors in the area that will do you a good job. As for the roofing part of the project , we are happy that you are pleased. After 30 years of business with your family, we hate to lose you as a customer. It is our hope that you will give us another chance. We admit to not being perfect but pledge to you, and all our customers, that we will never stop trying!

  If I could give no stars I would. Be very cautious with using Lon Roofing. Steer clear and save yourself some time.

  One of there salesman called on my friend. She has a disorder. He took advantage of that. So she only needed a partial replacement. He talked her into a roof on 1500sq ft house. She is now paying $12,000 for a $4,500 roof. Happening now clarendon ft worth. Immorral, unethical. Don't usr lon smith

  Lon Smith was a disaster for me, it could be that they have been overwhelmed by all of the business opportunities that the hail storms in the spring generated for them, but they completely mismanaged the work done on my house. First of all they failed to set expectations for me by telling me that the job would take one, maybe two days maximum. They did not explain that they were going to have to subcontract out the sky light replacement. It took nearly four weeks to wrap this one to two day project up because they completely mismanaged the skylight replacement. I could never get a straight story from them on whether it had been done or not. Whenever I would call in to ask about progress on the skylight replacement I would get the hot potato treatment, no one wanted to take ownership of the problem. They claim that it has been replaced, however, the skylight replacement company evidently came out and replaced the skylight without asking for permission from me and they did not leave a note or anything to suggest that they had been there to do the job. I have to accept on faith that it was actually replaced. Lon Smith sent inspectors out to my house three times. I never met the first inspector, he came out and "inspected" the roof while I was not there. The first inspector was fired, evidently, but no one from Lon Smith called to tell me that a new inspector would be working with me to make sure everything got done. They subcontracted the roof replacement out to another roofing company, I know this because the roofers placed a sign in my front yard and it wasn't Lon Smith, I took the sign down after the first day of the job, when I came home from work on the second day, they had placed their sign back up in my front yard. I agreed to let them replace my three wind turbines with passive vents, I let them up-sell me on three additional passive vents to be placed elsewhere on the roof, when I came home on the second day I could tell they were wrapping things and were ab

  I’m not in the habit of writing reviews but my wife and I had such a pleasant experience having our roof replaced from the spring hail storms that we wanted to spread the word. The Lon Smith crew installed our roof in one day. What was just as impressive to us was the cleanup and followup. Lon Smith inspectors followed up twice to make sure the job was completed and adhered to their quality standards. Lon Smiths Philip Stanford recommended installing impact resistant shingles, which we did, and will withstand damage from future hail storms and lower our insurance premiums. Philip even met and went up on the roof with the insurance adjuster for the initial inspection. We are recommending Lon Smith to all of our neighbors. Bill and Lissa Smith

  Mitch Branick of Lon Smith Roofing is honest, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. I can't sing his praises loud enough to do him justice. He recently made two house calls --with no charge! He quickly diagnosed the problem as originating with our HVAC system and spent a good deal of time explaining the needed repairs to me. The estimate he provided for the needed roof repair was reasonable and far less than another quote I had obtained. He provided advice and a referral for a plumber, again walking me through all the needed steps. I am so confident in his expertise that I won't hesitate to call him for all my roofing needs. He showed real concern for me and my home. I can't recommend him highly enough.
