  I called litespeed to get an estimate on the roof of my building and they came out and took pictures of the roof and side building gave me a price quote to give to the insurance company, I noticed that theirs quote was a lot less than what the other contractor’s was asking .So I was going to ask them why theirs so low of an estimate but the contractor stopped by asked to speak to me and he told me that he about fell through the roof after he had already done the inspection of the roof and was not going to honor the estimate. That was okay, it was how he did it ! And talking with the front office people was a nightmare!

  We called and talked with Mr. Brown after his experience, and before this review was posted. We mostly listened. He was very upset when we withdrew our bid, and told us that he thought that our rep wanting to discuss the withdrawal privately was odd. So I think what he wrote above was pretty accurate to his experience. Here's our side of the experience: No one wants a bid withdrawn... not the contractor... and not the customer. On the second inspection, one of our project managers found that he didn't think we could do the project safely, without risking damage to the roof, or worse, injury to one of our team members. So we withdrew our bid and later gave him recommendations on who we did think would be good for the work. It stinks to withdraw a bid, but if we can't do something safely, we're not going to do it. Sorry, again, Mr. Brown. Wish we could have worked together. Best of luck with the project.

  Several calls over a 4 month period could get no one to come look at a leak from a downspout that this company installed. Kept being told rain had their schedule behind even though we went through several dry spells during the 4 month period. Won't use them again for guttering.

  Couldn't even get them to follow up or call back after speaking with one person and leaving multiple messages. Lousy customer service.

  Don’t trust these guys! They will lie to put money in their own pockets. Worst decision I even made was picking up the phone and calling them.

  We do not recommend trusting Mr David Jernagin in the transaction of any type of home sale. A Knoxville county judge found him liable for not disclosing a known roofing mis installation on a home he sold. The current owner has a judgement for the value of the roof in Knoxville small claims court. We provided expert witness on the new owners behalf. I am sorry that you chose to treat your homebuyer with such disrespect David. I sincerely hope this has been a leaning opportunity for you.

  I had both good and bad experiences using this company. First, the good: the receptionist was very friendly, as were the roofers. The guy who came to look at my roof originally came back to walk with the insurance adjuster, which was great. And, the roofers got the job done quickly--it took them 1.5 days to re-roof our entire house. I did have a few issues with this company, though. They did the job quickly, but they did it at the cost of quality. When they took the old shingles off they threw them everywhere, crushing many of our bushes and plants. At one point I had to run out to my back deck to pull my potted plants in, as they were burying them with shingles. I will say that when I told my contact this, he offered to reimburse us on some of our plants, as he stated this happens often. Communication beforehand would have been appreciated, as we could have moved the potted plants or covered those in the ground. Another quality concern was that a large planter went missing after this company started our roofing job. After looking everywhere for the planter, I thought that perhaps it had accidentally been broken during roofing since it was outside and they were throwing things around. However, when I asked my contact about this, he never even got back to me with an answer, and I haven't heard from him since. Again, any sort of communication would have been appreciated. Another concern I have with this company was their refusal to give me a cost estimate until after the insurance adjuster told us what he would give us for the roof. I asked several times, but was never allowed an estimate. I would like to see more transparency in a company; other roofing companies gave me estimates, leading me to assume that the estimate I finally got from Litespeed, after they knew what insurance was willing to pay, was based on how much they could charge me. I'm no roofing expert, but the roof does look good and I'm assuming it was put on well. And as I mentioned above, they did

  I found Litespeed Construction on Angie's list and hired them to fix a roof leak on February 5, 2015. I paid them up front thru a coupon on Angie's List. BAD IDEA FOLKS DON'T DO IT! On February 12th I was sent a text they would be out the following Tuesday, or Wednesday. No show, and no call. On February 18th I sent another text and asked status and got reply they have been frozen in. On March 4th I text again and asked for my money back, and low and behold they finally went to house and did repair March 7th, 2015.

  Fixed her leak several years ago. A few months back customer asked us to install a metal roofing system on her home that we no longer install. All the best with your work, this was not a fit for us though.

  The name says it all, super service super fast. Fred had me taken care of in no time. I had an estimate from another company and called Litespeed to talk to them because I thought it seemed a little high. Litespeed fixed me up next business day for 1/5th the cost. other company said it would be at least a week

  I had a leak in my roof that no one could seem to figure out what the problem was. I called Lightspeed and they sent Fred Russi out. It didn't take him long at all to figure out what the problem was. He had it fixed in less than an hour. He was very professional and explained everything to me. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
