  Had a flat roof done 9 years ago with a 12 year warranty. Wich is leaking now. i Wasn't sure all the policies with the technical stuff. I didn't now i had to call them call back every 3 years to get it maintenance i really didnt know this. But from the word's I was told by the tech over the phone was " my warranty was not valid cause lack of maintenance on it. Repair guy went it and said I needed a whole new roof. Rubber Mesh Flash Cap And Bunch of other stuff. At 4000 $. When the roof got done originally I was charged 2000$ Long story short my new roofer and i went up didn't need not 3 quarters of that. Shame when they get woman like this. .

  Workers threw lit cigarettes on my roof. Got into several extremely aggressive arguments with neighbors which could have easily been avoided.

  Friendly and communicative until you sign the contract and then infuriating to work with once they have your money. Other people may be fine, but make sure you don't have to work with Vince.

  Mr. Steinhauer, when you called the office this morning and raised these concerns, we immediately responded and advised our crew of your phone call. We also advised that we have no control over the smell of the material used to complete our work. The fumes are not toxic as they are used on a daily basis by not only our company, but other roofing contractors as well. Our workers did not throw debris on your property, but offered to clean up any debris that you assumed was from our work as a goodwill gesture. As far as we are aware, a public driveway is not private property and that is where our vehicles were parked. Our worker did not "challenge" you to call 9-1-1 but rather as you threatened to call the police, said that you should call them if that is what you feel the need to do. Liberty Roofing has been serving the Philadelphia area for over 23 years and we pride ourselves on customer service and quality workmanship.

  STAY AWAY TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!! I WOULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE (-0) IF I COULD I received a new roof just about a month ago. The roofers broke my window, left the cable cord hanging from my back yard, damage my porch roof and my neighbor porch roof and didn't replace the drain pipe in the front of the house. I contacted Justin who appeared to be the lead in this project and did the work with his colleagues, In addition he claimed he was the owner though not sure how valid that is. He appeared to be polite and pleasant and he stated that he would fix the damages. I was patient and understanding. Nevertheless, a month later after contacting him multiply times the issue is still not resolved. I didn't have a problem with the damages because I know with roofing these issues can happen. However, what I have a problem with is Justin negligence and when I contacted him he was just buying time and wasn't concerned. I must say that the receptionist Nancy is great! It's sad that one bad apple can spoil the bunch. Now its time that I take this to the next level Liberty Roofing!!!

  Ms. Singletary, Liberty Roofing Inc. has been in business for over 22 years and we are proud of our A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau because we take our customers and the service we provide them very seriously. I am sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience with us but please allow me to answer some of your comments. Regarding the downspout, we did remove and replace the drain within the downspout, called a droptube. The replacement of the actual downspout was not included in our agreement. The window that was accidently broken was a double pane window. The outside pane was immediately repaired by our crew onsite while the interior pane was removed to be repaired by an outside vendor. Once repaired, Liberty was and is going to return to your home to re-install the window. Unfortunately, we do not have control over the time the outside vendor took to make the necessary repairs, however, once we did get it back in our shop, which was yesterday, July 9, 2020, Nancy from our office did call and leave you a voicemail at approximately 2:30 pm stating that the window was back from the repair shop and that we would be out to your home early next week to install the repaired window as well as take care of any other issues that you require, including the repair to your porch and to your neighbors as well. Our schedule has not changed and our crew will be on site to make these repairs one day next week and you will be notified the night before they are scheduled to arrive. I do want to apologize that you were not kept informed of the delay in the repair of the window and I know that good communication could have prevented this from escalating. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to your comments and know that once the window is re-installed and your issues are addressed that you will be completely satisfied with the workmanship and customer service you receive.   Called in Nov 2019 spoke w/ Nancy. Vince came out that same day and looked at the roof when I wasn’t there. A few days passed and they sent Justin to reinspect the roof and look from the inside while I was home. He took measurements , pulled out his calculator and verbally quoted me $1550 per side, $3100 total. Next day Vince called me back and said he wanted to inspect himself from the inside. He came again and looked inside and outside. Didn’t take measurements (unless he took them the first time) and spit out what seemed like a ballpark quote $4000 both sides. When I told him Justin said $3100 he said, “I told him not to say a price. He’s new and shouldn’t have done that”. He then continued to inspect, now he inspected the siding and said it’s not the roof that’s bad it’s the siding causing the leak in my kitchen. Neither other roofer mentioned this in their inspection and siding looks intact to me. (Other roofers being Justin from Liberty Roofing and another roofer from separate company). His reasoning was the siding once pulled forward showed that there was no tyvek barrier under it. He now focused on that saying this was the problem. A few days later I received an email quote for $4000 to change out the siding and add tyvek. I contacted him back and asked for a quote to replace the roof. I asked him how could it be the siding when the problem started when the last roof job was done (we had the roof done by a budget guy earlier and the original leak had stopped but soon after we sprung a new leak in the kitchen, I know, I know, you get what you pay for). Vince said it was a coincidence. Saying either way both the tyvek and roof would have to be done before an inspector would pass the house for sale. I asked again for a quote for the roof. He then said it’s possible that I do the roof first and if the leak stopped then there would be no need to do the siding. He gave me a quote via text $3500 for both sections of roof and $2400 for the siding.

  Good Afternoon Alfredo. Vince was correct when he said that Justin was a new employee and should not have quoted a price. With that being said, siding often is the source of leaks although Vince did advise you to start with the roof work and if the leak persisted, then address the siding. This is very common practice by a roofing professional, especially if the customer does not want to address all issues. Vince was simply explaining all avenues of possible water penetration to keep you, as the customer, informed. Vince's pricing was based off of doing the roofing and siding work concurrently and also, separately. His pricing was also appropriate for the scope of work. We can not comment on the other price of $2900.00 as we have no idea what was done exactly or the quality of the workmanship or materials. I am sure the "budget guy" who put the original roof on that leaked was also less expensive. Liberty Roofing Inc. uses the best material and the best Roofers Local 30 installers. We have been in business for over 22 years with an A+ rating on BBB and are always working to be better today than we were yesterday. Thank you for your input.

  Vince was fantastic throughout the entire process. Explained exactly what was going to be done and kept me informed of the plan in the days before the installation and sent pictures of the progress during the project. The team of technicians were fantastic. Did a beautiful job and kept the area clean and did a thorough inspection and cleanup afterwards. I thank them all for a job well done.

  I was referred to Liberty Roofing from my next door neighbor in Fishtown. They came out quickly to give me an estimate. I was put on the schedule ASAP and the work was completed quickly & successfully!!!! I have since used them for other properties and everytime they came out quickly . Their work is great but more importantly they run an honest business !!!!

  Justin and team were great. They were quick, detailed, thorough and cost-effective in their quote, and efficient and communicative throughout the stucco removal and siding installation processes.   The team at Liberty Roofing did a first-class job with my flat roof repair and replacement. Joe Thompson, the project manager, explained what needed to be done and coordinated the crew to reseal two flat roofs on my building and replace a third.   I had a very positive experience with Liberty Roofing. Their estimate was reasonable and when they discovered lots of rot under my porch roof I was consulted about the need for additional work. They work quickly but professionally the installation of all new gutters was amazing and so well done. I highly recommend Liberty Roofing.

  We live in Rhawnhurst and talked to several roofers. We went with Liberty and are really pleased. They are timely and always happy to answer questions. The crew and cleanup were great. We also had gutters done. Very happy with the quality of work all the way around.

  This is the third roof that Liberty has put on to my properties in the past 2 years. Always excellent to work with. You get an immediate estimate and timetable. Couldn't be happier I would not use anyone else in this area is it a success I've had with Liberty.

  They accommodated us as quickly as they could (it took a couple weeks but there was a lot of damage that summer and we were lower priority). They communicated well with us. The work appears to be well done. They were patient with us while we waited for the financing to come from the insurance company (with many appeals). Estimate was more than one company but less than two companies and seemed reasonable for the amount of work. Estimate was pretty close to the total. In a sea full of choices, I would definitely recommend Liberty and would use them again (hopefully I don't need to anytime soon).
