Fine work. However the payment process was sloppyand unprofessional When I followed up on inaccuracies, Jack called me back to rudely complain that I had not been nice to him for being frustrated. Seriously. Do it right or don't complain for my insuring payment was possible.

The roof leaked and they could not take care of me so I got the leak repaired and I was told that their warranty is no longer active.

I have lived in the Fairmount neighborhood of Philadelphia for several years and when it came to have roofing work, I went with Loonstyn Roofing, a local company. It turned out to be a poor decision. The new roof started leaking after the first rain. They came back but blamed ii on a skylight, which never had a problem before they worked on the roof. Shortly thereafter, my roof air conditioner failed. An electrician traced the cause to the roofers covering the wires with silver coat material. They silver coated over the wires to my roof air conditioner causing them to short circuit and melt in the heat of the summer. They denied any liability and I had to hire an electrician to rewire the unit. I have subsequently learned of a number or horror stories and disgruntled customers who hired Loonstyn Roofing. They are not a reputable company and fail to accept any liability for associated damage they may cause. I would steer clear of using them.

Ken, Were sorry to hear you're unhappy with the service. We installed the roof for you, even doing extra work at no additional cost. You refused to replace your skylight even though the glass was clearly broken. You had multiple leaks, most of which were resolved with the work we did. The only leak remaining was coming from your skylight which you refused to believe. as for the Hvac lines that were laying across your roof. The lines were 20-30 years old and deteriorated. Our guys worked around them as best we could and were careful not to touch them as it was a danger for our workers. Your air condition worked just fine during and after we were done the work. Your ac stopped working weeks after we finished and you tried to blame us. We have photos of the broken skylight and frayed electric lines on our Google and yelp page's if you or anyone reading this review would like to see them. As for hearing "horror stories and disgruntled customers" That's simply untrue. You know it and our reviews confirm it.

We are so glad we chose Loonstyn Roofing for our flat roof replacement. We were dreading needing to have our old roof (and all the other old roofs underneath it that had been layered on before we owned the house, yikes!!) completely torn off and replaced. John and the rest of the crew from Loonstyn made the experience as stress free as possible. They were able to complete the work quickly and for a reasonable price, and took the time to make needed repairs before putting on our new roof, which looks amazing. All communication with them was prompt and professional. We're really glad we found this company!!

Exceptional experience from start to finish. Came out when I was in need of work on my roof rather quickly. Identified the issue and recommended solution. Within 3 days my roof was replaced (and that was because they were working around weather or it would have been quicker). Would absolutely recommend for anyone in need of work on their roof.
