*This company's 5 star ratings across the board are a bit suspicious to this reviewer* Had this company out for an estimate on Sept. 20th. It's Sept. 30th and they still have not provided one. To their credit they will communicate with you on various platforms & at nauseum about colors, just not about what your project will cost.

Hi Rachel, you called Sept 18th and I was able to personally bring out metal samples and meet with you Sept 20th, 2 days later. You wanted me to price a green metal roof in 2 profiles and burgundy gutters as well as fascia wrap. You also needed decking replaced due to a neighbors tree falling on your steep 12/12 pitch. Those different elements do take some time to price. But we kept in contact each step of the way and got you a detailed estimate a week after meeting. We respectfully ask you to consider removing your review since we didn't work together or install your project. Our crews do beautiful work, all for good pricing as we make our metal in-house and don't believe in salesmen. This is where our reviews come in; communication with clients, Amish master builder skills for an expert install and affordable cost for high end, 40 yr warranty U.S. coil.

This summer we shopped for better home insurance rates and discovered having 30yr rated asphalt shingles means nothing when your roof is 12 yrs old. That’s when we started looking at metal roofing and happened upon Lake Erie Metal for Shingles. Working with Julie was great, we had a few unconventional design ideas and she listened and worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted for our home and garage, including finding attractive “snow gems” to sub for the standard snow bars usually provided. The crew lead by Adam was fantastic. Hard working and willing to answer questions during installation. GOAT describes both his work ethic and ability to scale heights. We also had gutters installed by Willard and his crew. I mentioned to him issues with our old gutters and he came up with creative solutions while also making them more attractive on the house. Work was contracted in August, began and completed in October, and it is now January. I waited to review to see how the roof and gutters functioned. They’ve weathered torential rains, 50 mph winds, heavy snow and ice storms and we couldn’t be happier. The roof is exactly what we hoped for and as a bonus is extremely attractive and distinctive. Even though metal is not common in our area (yet) we have received compliments and inquiries and have passed along Julie’s contact info with confidence that anyone will be pleased if they choose Lake Erie Metal for Shingles.

My roof is amazing now. I am so pleased with the results, and the crew are very polite and nice. The before picture is the shingle one with more of my privacy fence showing. The owner is also very easy to work with.
